Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel was nice and the location was good. An Uber ride to the old city was very short and approximately 7-8 Euros. We were able to walk down to the port and because we didn't want to walk back up, again, the Uber ride was short and inexpensive. The hotel breakfast was fine, we certainly did not go hungry afterwards and the front desk was helpful when we had questions. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed and good shower. We had a terrace with chairs that looked out over the port. The outdoor pool was not filled yet but the chairs were out and there was an indoor pool and a gym but we did not use any of those facilities.
This was a nice hotel. Clean and spacious room. Decent view. However getting to/from old town each day was a bit of a pain. Bus is included with Dubrovnik pass, but it can be packed and involves waiting. Uber worked well but price varied.
I’m not sure why anyone would choose to stay here. I was part of a group tour this time and had no choice. I’ve stayed in Dubrovnik twice before with hotels in other more touristy locations. The hotel is not near anything. As other reviewers have noted, if you manage to walk down the distance to the harbor, you’ll need a taxi to get back to the hotel. You are not near the old town whatsoever. No beach. You are essentially beside the highway. No restaurants or shops in the area.
The air conditioning in my room never adequately cooled even though I set it on 19. But the hallways were freezing. One small elevator for the entire hotel had most people taking the stairs instead of waiting. No staff at the pool/spa area to inquire how to get to the outdoor pool. The jacuzzi was broken and out of service. There were used towels on the benches of the changing area, but no guests were in the pool area. The fitness center was taken up by pods of some kind so little workout space remained. Certainly not the fitness center expected of a hotel this size.
The breakfast was great with many options. The view was very scenic but slightly marred by two decrepit cement buildings on either side. There was a makeup mirror and the shower worked well. My room had a small balcony. The bed was comfy.
Had a horrible experience with the staff. Rude. Problems with the room and bathroom which stank of sewage, air condition stopped working in the middle of summer. Baking hot in the rooms. Don’t provide water daily, only in the first day. Not good options if you have dietary requirements for breakfast.
Without doubt the best Hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The staff are very professional and well trained in their rolls. The family room was a decent size and kept spotlessly clean every day. Best beds we ever slept in. Good breakfast and delicious evening meals. Breathtaking views over the harbour and islands. We missed our evening meal on arrival but they had even provided a buffet in our room. Never had that anywhere! The 2 pools are amazing and spotless. Never had trouble finding a sun bed. Ubers are inexpensive. Again a big thank you to all the fantastic staff who keep this place running 🥰
