We loved our stay at the Grand Hotel Park, great location close to the beach and to the restaurants in Lapad. Set back in its own grounds meant it was quiet and peaceful. A Bolt into Dubrovnik was less than 10 euros Breakfast was delicious, the choice of foods was amazing, something different every mornng. Our room overlooked the sea and we had a great view. The staff were all very friendly and it was perfectly clean. @instaglobetrotters
A beautiful place to stay. Lovely room, lovely outlook to the sea, excellent staff, a great restaurant with awesome breakfasts and a really affordable nightly dinner. Great pool area for relaxing. Close to beach & restaurants on the busy promenade.
Wow, what can I say, lovely room, helpful staff, great food, nice pool, fab location. The Grand Hotel Park has it all. Short walk to the bus stop to go to the Old Town, buy ticket at kiosk at 1.75euros pp or pay 2.50euros on the bus. Short walk to the beach, supermarket, restaurants from the hotel too. It was quiet, they offered 3 course, help yourself evening meal for 20euros pp which was great value (one course at a restaurant nearby cost 27euros). The lady at reception booked us in at the Panorama Restaurant overlooking the Old Town for that night as it was my husbands birthday. We caught the bus, went up the Cable Car 30euros return pp as of July 2026, and was taken to a front row seat (I wondered if the receptionists relative was the manager).
Just returned from this hotel, and noticed a few negative reviews. Please ignore them as my experience was positive. The staff were extremely friendly, always plenty of choice for food, and a good choice of sun loungers so you will not struggle around the pool. Location is perfect for exploring surrounding areas. All in all, the hotel lives up to the four star rating.
First time staying here and first time in Croatia. Beautiful country and nice hotel. Check in 2pm. Rooms are spacious and clean. Quiet hotel, and quiet pool area with relaxing music. Didn't hear any construction work going on that spoilt our stay. Close to the street with plenty restaurants and the beach is about 5 min walk from the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and good selections. Paid 20 euros per person for the evening buffet which again plenty of choice from soups salads and 3 mains dishes and sides. Also plenty of desserts and ice cream Inc!. Bargain compared to local restaurants some charging 28 euros for chicken and rice alone! Only thing was the restaurant staff weren't as helpful as they could be. Wouldn't let us book a table for the 3 consecutive days in our stay said turn up at 7pm luckily we got on but they did turn many away... . I would recommend this hotel is lookin for a quiet stay. Bus stand for the number 6 is 5 min walk away into pile gate old town .
