Divine dining in Dubrovnik
Divine, prime location on tip of Dubrovnik, coastal dining is next level. Hospitality is attentive & generous, thanks to Dusan 🩵
Beautiful dinner
Great place to watch the sunset, atmosphere was relaxed, with great service (we had Rason) and food. Our whole fish was the best fish we've had in a very long time. Right on the beach front, you can't go wrong for dinner.
Absolutely stunning!
We stayed for 5 days and would love to come back as a couple again or as a family as the hotel is perfect for both. It was a 30 minute journey from the airport to the hotel with beautiful scenery along the way. All staff and locals have been incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room had a beautiful view from the 4th floor. I suggest asking for a room on the 5th or floor to get an even better view!
The spa was lovely all be it expensive but this seems to be in line with other 5 star resorts.
The hotel was also exceptionally clean, tidy and service was brilliant. You could order any drink and food from your sunbed at any hour of the day. Both the cocktails and food were very tasty and matched the 5 star expectation.
We did not have any issues with noise from our room. It was very peaceful.
We spent a lot of time checking out the water sports with the Dive Centre attached to the hotel which was absolutely brilliant. If you like that sort of thing then it’s perfect for you. The dive centre had Seabobs, Jet Skis, snorkels, E-foil board and scuba diving and all the staff were really lovely. One of the young members of the dive team booked us in at his family’s Italian restaurant in the Old town of Dubrovnik, and what a find that was. If you like Pizza…go there! It was called “Storia” and was located just next to the marina down a beautiful little side street.
We ventured into the old town to do the Wall walk which was €40 each. It’s best to do it as early as possible as the heat is intense during the day.
We also ate most nights in the old town (we got an uber but you can get the bus too from right outside the hotel) and we never had a bad meal.
All in all, we can’t wait to come back. The most beautiful, clean, friendly, historic place I have ever been. Also…hardly any mosquitoes which was a huge plus!
5 star only at V level!
Given a beautiful quiet room on 7 floor.. cleaning to a high standard. This is not 5 star as advertised. You have to be in level V to get the service you expect of a 5 star Hotel. No help with your luggage on arrival, how to use your key for everything. Compared to the reception level V got with welcome drink as witnessed totally different ambience compared to them. Not a nice feeling. The buffet breakfast is excellent and varied; and the staff smiling and attentive. Bring water shoes for the sea. Still here 9 more days to go not really impressed had better service at 3*
