Situated on the Lapad Peninsula, just 3 km from the historic city centre of Dubrovnik, this hotel is perched on a gently sloping, pine-covered hillside leading down to the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea. Dubrovnik Airport is 24 km from the property. Rooms are stylish and bright, featuring under-floor heating and hydro-massage bathtubs, flat-screen TV and lavish marble bathrooms. Guests can spend sunny afternoons lounging by the sea or by the 5th-floor outdoor pool and sun terrace with fantastic sea views or relaxing with a massage in the hotel spa and fitness centre. Guests can find a variety of tasty treats and cool drinks at in the cave bar, set in a natural cave, and the restaurant serves delightful local and Mediterranean cuisine on the candlelit terrace in the evening.

We stayed in a junior suite with our 15 year old. Very spacious room with double sofa bed for our daughter (only niggle was the bed was very very squeaky they did try to sort it but my daughter said extremely comfortable) large amount of space in the room huge bathroom 2 showers large balcony overlooking the sea and amazing sunsets. Complimentary water replenished each day by the maid. Water also an available on lower pool bar so no need to buy water. Nice touch. Breakfast lovely lots of choice also à la carte choice plus fizz very nice! Lovely waiting on staff very helpful and friendly. We stayed mainly on the 5th floor pool lovely views across the sea small pool nice for a cool dip. No reserving of sun loungers at silly o’clock. Service available for drinks. Folded pool towels put on each sunbed each morning for your use plus plenty of towels available in the area. Bathrooms and area immaculate. Also a lower floor pool and sea front sunbeds by the cave bar. We tried the More restaurant very nice make sure you book as it gets very busy. We also tried the Cave bar lovely views of the sunset also gets very busy. Small walk along the promenade to a variety of lovely bars and restaurants. Old town 10 minutes on the bus. Immaculately clean hotel with brilliant staff would definitely return.
We stayed in a villa at the hotel, which was the right choice in the sense that it was spacious and very peaceful, and there was a swimming pool downstairs. Since I had mobility issues, we also went to check a room on the hotel side, but we weren't impressed by its standard. The property has a great deal of stairs and various elevators, one of which we once got stuck in between floors. Breakfast was in yet another building, where it would have ultimately been best to stay, as it also had a restaurant and a swimming pool as well. The staff at this place is exceptionally wonderful—every single one of them. They make the holiday flexible and comfortable. The food was good. I could easily return if I were in better health, but the terrain is challenging and there are no pedestrian walkways between the buildings, so you have to watch out for cars.
Our party of 4 visited the hotel as the Cave Bar had been recommended by friends. The bar and restaurant didn’t disappoint, with fabulous views and incredible food. HOWEVER as one of our party has mobility issues we took the lift from the Cave Bar to the hotel restaurant which is 2 floors up. There were 6 of us in an 8 person lift. It’s tiny with no air con. The electrics failed which meant we couldn’t even use the alarm. We started banging on the door and luckily a passer by heard and got help. We were stuck for 20 mins in extreme heat and with me being claustrophobic, this was my worst nightmare. When the engineer got us out we were offered NOTHING! Not even some water. No discount on our meal - NOTHING! We complained at reception when we left. He was sympathetic and told us that in his opinion the lift should be taken out of service which indicates this has happened before. NOT ACCEPTABLE ANYWHERE LET ALONE A 5 STAR HOTEL! How disgusting to treat your guests with so little compassion and respect. It makes me wonder what else needs fixing and what needs to happen before Hotel More take action.
Nice hotel but unfortunately after booking a room with a balcony we were given one where we looked directly on to a wall with a noisy extractor fan emitting cooking smells which prevented us from enjoying spending time together on our balcony. Pointed this out but was just told these are the comfort rooms we booked. Never had such an awful balcony & not what I expected in a hotel of this calibre.
