We are extremely disappointed with our experience at Hotel More, particularly given its five-star rating and the price we paid for two rooms. Our experience started poorly at check-in. We rang for the bellman, but by the time he arrived, we had already begun moving our luggage ourselves. He did not offer to assist, and we ended up carrying our heavy bags down two flights of stairs and through extremely hot hallways and elevators. When we finally reached our rooms, they were oppressively hot—over 80°F—and there was nowhere comfortable for us to cool down after a very long travel day. It took approximately two hours for the rooms to reach a reasonable temperature. We also noticed dirty a/c filters that appeared to need changing, as well as a rug that was dirty and torn. The shower design was another frustration. It is extremely awkward for anyone taller than about 5’5”, and the 3 men in our family are over six feet tall. What made the experience more disappointing was the lack of attentive service. The concierge was not particularly helpful, and at no point did we feel we were receiving the level of hospitality or attention we would expect from a five-star hotel. We had been having a wonderful trip and absolutely loving Croatia, which made arriving at Hotel More especially disappointing. After a long travel day, we specifically chose and paid more for a five-star property because we expected a comfortable, relaxing experience. Instead, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we have had. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend spending the premium to stay at Hotel More. There are many less expensive hotels that provide a much higher level of comfort, service, and attention to their guests.

We stayed in a junior suite with our 15 year old. Very spacious room with double sofa bed for our daughter (only niggle was the bed was very very squeaky they did try to sort it but my daughter said extremely comfortable) large amount of space in the room huge bathroom 2 showers large balcony overlooking the sea and amazing sunsets. Complimentary water replenished each day by the maid. Water also an available on lower pool bar so no need to buy water. Nice touch. Breakfast lovely lots of choice also à la carte choice plus fizz very nice! Lovely waiting on staff very helpful and friendly. We stayed mainly on the 5th floor pool lovely views across the sea small pool nice for a cool dip. No reserving of sun loungers at silly o’clock. Service available for drinks. Folded pool towels put on each sunbed each morning for your use plus plenty of towels available in the area. Bathrooms and area immaculate. Also a lower floor pool and sea front sunbeds by the cave bar. We tried the More restaurant very nice make sure you book as it gets very busy. We also tried the Cave bar lovely views of the sunset also gets very busy. Small walk along the promenade to a variety of lovely bars and restaurants. Old town 10 minutes on the bus. Immaculately clean hotel with brilliant staff would definitely return.
