This hotel is a great location for the beach but not to get into old town by walking it’s at least 50 mins walk and not an easy one. We used Ubers a lot which is okay but the money mounts up. Hotel was very busy and quite noisy, breakfast is okay but not the best, lots of choices. The roof top bar is lovely, and a greet view of the sunset, but the service wasn’t the best. Hotel has a lovely spa but we didn’t get the time to use. Room was lovely, balcony had a fantastic view but didn’t feel very clean or well kept. Not sure it was worth the money we paid overall a nice hotel but just didn’t feel 4 star worthy.
My two friends and I booked and paid extra for a Double Superior Room with Sea View. We were three people, but when we arrived, the room was extremely small and did not seem suitable for three guests at all. The biggest disappointment was that there was absolutely no sea view. Instead of the sea view we specifically paid extra for, our view was of a grass hill. The room also looked nothing like the pictures advertised when we made the booking. According to the room description, we were supposed to receive a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. However, when we asked the staff where the sofa bed was, we were told that sofa beds were only available in suites, despite the description of our room clearly stating that a sofa bed was included. Instead, we were given a tiny extra bed that was incredibly uncomfortable and hard as a rock. It was practically impossible to sleep on, so all three of us ended up having to sleep in one queen-size bed, which was obviously not comfortable. We spoke to the manager about these issues, but they were not helpful at all. We were offered no refund, no compensation, no room change, and no solution whatsoever. On top of that, some of the staff gave us unpleasant looks when we raised our concerns, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Instead of taking our complaint seriously and trying to help us, we felt as though we were being treated like a problem simply for questioning why we did not receive what we had paid for. There were also far too few sunbeds available outside considering the number of guests staying at the hotel. Additionally, the pool area did not receive any sun until around 12–1 PM. The cleaning wasn't the best either, and tv did not work. Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing. We paid extra for a Superior Room with a Sea View and specific amenities, yet we received a tiny room with a view of a grass hill, an uncomfortable extra bed instead of the advertised sofa bed, and absolutely no help when we complained. We did not receive what we paid for, and the way our concerns were handled only made the experience worse. We expect this matter to be taken seriously and believe that we are entitled to appropriate compensation.
• Location was great on the beach front with plenty of restaurants/bars near by and 2 shops within 3 minute walk. •Rooms were nice, couple of marks and broken table. Shower had a leak also but never affected our stay. Our floor has a really bad fishy/sewerage smell but can only be smelled in the corridor. •Breakfast had a decent selection. could be quite cold at times but wasnt horrible. •Noise wasnt bad unless the balcony was open with the construction about. •Rooftop bar was expensive! and they never gave us our 50% off drinks like advertised. ended up paying full price even after they confirmed the half price. bit of a scam! •Service at reception was brilliant and so were the cleaners. •Great hotel just a couple of things that were not good but didnt affect our stay!
Great location. Rooms spacious, clean. Good service at front desk. Breakfast buffet adequate. Very close to nearby restaurants on beachfront and 5 mins from small supermarket. Wi-Fi was only thing that let it down - very intermittent signal. Out of town, but Ubers very accessible and cheap.
Lovely large and spacious room. We had a partial sea view with a wrap around balcony. Our room came with a complimentary bottle of red wine which we enjoyed on our balcony overlooking the sea and pool. The hotel amenities are amazing. There are 4 saunas, one which has floor to ceiling glass overlooking the sea, 2 pools, one heated indoor and 1 outside overlooking the sea. There is a nice size gym, but we did not utilize it. The beach is in front of the hotel and there are tons of great restaurants surrounding the hotel. I might add the water pressure in the shower is amazing, the largest buffet breakfast I’ve ever seen is included in your stay.
