Been back home 3 weeks after a superb fortnight at Soco House, The staff are amazing in all areas. Vladimir the hotel manager was very engaging taking time to meet and greet his customers, his speciality was to be our chef on Sunday nights with a steak to die for. Special mention to Rose and Alex at the pool bar who kept us entertained in the evenings ( sorry to single out individuals but I'm terrible with names).
We booked a pool room with its own patio which was well worth the upgrade, Good Wi-Fi, Tv that allows you to sign into your Netflix account, super shower, tea and coffee in room, Pool towels each day from reception.
Rodney Bay, a very short walk away, is a lovely beach where Soco house have an arrangement with the beach crew who set you up with sunbeds and umbrellas, The sea is warm and safe to swim. Don't forget your cool box from reception for on beach refreshments. Pigeon island a must, take the beach taxi with Little Lion.
Not much in the way of trips, we went to the street party and felt very old, food was great though, A day trip with Patrick who hangs around outside the hotel. Good way to see the island, Pitons, volcano visit and mud bath, fishing village, botanical gardens, and rum stop.
Slightly out of season so hotel not busy which was great, weather was superb but sometimes humid in the evenings
What a fantastic hotel! Great location and not too heaving. Close to restaurants and a shopping mall and supermarket. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and most commendable were the staff who went out of their way to look after the guests and make the stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible.
Note that the all inclusive is not buffet style and the menu is limited although the food is really nice. The hotel is not on the beach and you jeed to walk to the beach although it is literally a 2 or 3 minute walk, so not a problem unless you have mobility limitations. Also note that that rooms do not have a stocked fridge so you need to get drinks from the bar to bring up if you want to drink in room.
rooms are clean with good water pressure foe the showers. The hotel really provides value for money and we would definitely visit again.
We just booked our 3rd trip in 2yrs to the soco house, 1st weekend in nov, reading the reviews things are just as good as always.
We stayed here for a week in September 2026 and had a very enjoyable time. The hotel is not your typical all-inclusive resort. With only 72 rooms the hotel is small and personal and the team are (generally) warm, friendly and service focused. The General Manager (Vladimir) is exceptionally present in all areas of the operation and makes a point of checking in with all guests to see that they are happy. I have honestly never experienced this level of personal service in other hotels (& I have visited lots!). Our room was a standard room but was very clean, well appointed and had a very comfortable bed - we were very happy! There is only one restaurant where all meals are served à la carte, this was a welcome change to the normal buffet offering. Food was varied and good quality using seasonal local ingredients. Service in the restaurant was sometimes a bit hit and miss but this never really caused us a problem. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from a nice sandy beach and the hotel will even give you a cooler full of drinks to take with you! Overall we really enjoyed our holiday in this more boutique style all inclusive hotel, we would rate the hotel a solid 9/10 and would definitely return.
We stayed at Soco House in Rodney Bay for seven days from August 30, 2026, and loved the experience. We travel frequently, including to many all-inclusive resorts, but this felt wonderfully personal.
This small, white-painted boutique hotel is just a short walk across the street to Reduit Beach. From the moment we arrived, pleasant staff and a chilled glass of sparkling wine made us feel welcome. Our spacious room had a large balcony overlooking the courtyard, with tall palms, tropical landscaping, plenty of loungers and cabanas, a lovely pool and a pool bar.
The guests were mostly mature couples, predominantly British, with a few Americans and, during our stay, just us representing Canada! With no children, the atmosphere felt relaxed and like an elevated adults’ getaway. Between the setting, the staff and the guests, it gave us White Lotus vibes all week, which we loved!
One thing worth understanding before booking is that this is a fully à la carte all-inclusive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are sit-down, served meals from a small but varied menu. That was a big part of the appeal for us.
I enjoyed the Lucian breakfast of salted cod and fried bake almost every morning, along with fresh tropical fruit. Soursop felt like a real indulgence coming from Canada! There were also familiar options, including eggs, bacon and English breakfasts. Lunch and dinner offered tasty, made-to-order dishes across Caribbean, American and Italian styles, with plenty of seafood, ribs, roasts and curries. The food was skilfully cooked and beautifully plated.
The servers were attentive and interested in whether we enjoyed our meals. I had read reviews mentioning slow service, but that was not our experience apart from one dinner following the manager’s reception, when many guests seemed to arrive together. The team addressed it, and we noticed adjustments to dinner booking times the following day to better space arrivals. That responsiveness said a lot.
The staff deserve the greatest praise. Everyone seemed to know our names, from the general manager to the servers, bartenders and attendants. They took the time to understand what guests enjoyed and made a real effort to make each stay special.
Vlad, the general manager, had taken over fairly recently and was doing a fantastic job. He was consistently present and clearly invested in the guest experience. Special thanks also to Eloise, Charles, Marlon and Rose, who were excellent at their jobs and made us feel so welcome. The personal attention extended to the other guests too, which created a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel.
I would recommend Soco House a thousand times over to anyone looking for a smaller, more personal and elevated all-inclusive experience. The setting was lovely, the food was a pleasure, and the people made it memorable.
