Our stay at Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the beautiful Caribbean surroundings, elegant atmosphere, and welcoming staff immediately put us in vacation mode.
The adults-only Hideaway section provides a more peaceful and intimate atmosphere, which was exactly what we were looking for. The resort itself is beautiful, with lush grounds, gorgeous ocean views, pools, and a lovely private beach area. The location makes it easy to relax and enjoy the beauty of Saint Lucia without feeling like you have to leave the resort.
One of the things we really enjoyed was the variety of dining options. There are several restaurants offering different cuisines, including seafood and grill, Italian, steakhouse, Asian/teppanyaki, Tex-Mex, Caribbean-inspired dishes, and an international buffet. The Dorado restaurant, located right by the beach, was especially enjoyable for taking in the ocean views while dining. The resort also offers a Chef’s Table experience for an additional charge, which is a nice option for a special evening. (Royalton Resorts)
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and having a beautiful Caribbean setting outside your door makes it easy to settle into vacation mode. The resort offers 166 suites and includes amenities such as pools, a spa, fitness activities, water sports, and nightly entertainment. What really made our experience special, however, was the staff and hospitality. There were many moments when employees went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. That personal touch is what you remember after the vacation is over.
The beach and Caribbean water are beautiful, and there is something very relaxing about spending the day by the water, enjoying a drink, and simply taking in the scenery. The adults-only environment makes it particularly nice for couples looking for a romantic getaway, anniversary trip, honeymoon, or simply some quality time together.
Like any large all-inclusive resort, experiences can vary from guest to guest, and recent reviews mention some inconsistencies with service, dining, and room maintenance. At the same time, other recent guests describe excellent service, beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, and memorable stays.

Overall my trip went well because of the event, a wedding in my family. However, I most likely will never stay at this resort again. The food wasn’t all that great, and some of the staff were not pleasant. There were some nice things about the resort, such as the scenery and they had hookah. But I wouldn’t recommend this resort if you’d really like to see the better parts of St.Lucia

We were blown away with the view from our Junior Suite - We felt that the cost was reflected in that alone!!! The beds were oh so cosy and comfortable, a good selection of pillows (both hard and soft) ensured a great night's sleep. The shower was amazing - great pressure and spacious with a seat / shelf. The valance on the bed was visibly stained, and under desks and work surfaces had clearly not been swept or mopped before we arrived. There is a good range of restaurants and choice of food. Room service on the first night was a good choice after a long journey. The restaurant staff and service was good, the food in all restaurants tasted exceptional, however it often arried lukewarm or cold. For this reason we usually used the buffet as the range and quality of food was brilliant, and we could see what was hot and what was not (almost always warm/hot). The Dorado restaurant made amends for this when we returned for an outstanding breakfast! Jamal is an asset to the restaurant and couldn't have been more accommodating. The Butler Service was made special courtesy of Lovely staff, Nikita and Kaysha who truly made us feel at home and took care of our our every need. Both Briliant, friendly and genuinely helpful. Special shout to the Bar staff, particularly Wendy who made a special cocktail we enjoyed throughout, and Ash kept me laughing and supplied with this special Pop Shmoke (his superior version of the Mango Pop). Sindy and many other buffet servers and catering team were extremely helpful and professional. The hideaway reception area is well stocked and very confortable for relaxing or waiting, however the hideaway reception team could be more accomodating. There were a few occasions where we were deliberately ignored (eye contact confirmed we were seen waiting) on one occasion after approx 8 mins I asked if I could help myself and was eventually seen to...
We recently stayed at Royalton Hideaway St. Lucia, and it was absolutely beautiful! The grounds are impeccably kept, filled with vibrant flowers and fantastic amenities. Note for future travelers: there are currently two buildings undergoing room renovations, which look set to be completed by November, but it didn't impact our stay.
We stayed in the Presidential 1-Bedroom Suite in Building 2, which gave us a breathtaking view of the entire resort. A huge shoutout to our incredible butlers, Kaysha and Nikita—they were phenomenal! They made sure we had absolutely everything we needed and truly went above and beyond throughout our entire stay. They both are hardworking and we appreciated them!
With so many restaurants to choose from, every spot had its own special perk, but Hunter Steakhouse and Grazie were our absolute favorites. As someone who is gluten-free, dining out can sometimes be a challenge, but the chefs here were incredible. They personally came out to discuss dietary options with me and crafted delicious meals that made me feel completely taken care of!
Every single staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile and a "have a great day!" We loved every minute of our stay and cannot wait to be back!
