The hotel is located to the north-west of Choc Bay Beach, close to entertainment venues and a few kilometres from the airport. The sandy beach has a silvery white colour, with exquisite natural beauty. Castries is about 10-15 minutes away.
The resort was refurbished in 2010, is surrounded by tropical gardens with a quiet bay. The 169-room property features a currency exchange service, bars, a disco, laundry service and medical service. Other facilities at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, hairdressing salon, a restaurant and wireless Internet access.
The hotel rooms have a private bathroom with a shower/bath and hairdryer, a satellite/cable TV, individually regulated air conditioning, an alarm clock radio, iron and ironing board, safe, telephone and Internet access. A king-size bed and balcony or terrace complete the amenities on offer.
The property has 2 fresh water pools and 1 dive pool, a poolside snack bar and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Aerobics, a gym, a hot tub, massage treatments and spa treatments are also available. Guests can go diving, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing or pedal boating, or enjoy a game of tennis, table tennis, pool/snooker, beach volleyball or bocce. An entertainment programme for adults is also offered.
The hotel serves a breakfast buffet each morning, while lunch is buffet on all days and dinner are available à la carte. The hotel offers all-inclusive packages.

Lovely hotel with the friendliest staff I have ever had in a Sandals resort. The hotel is set in tropical gardens which was very picturesque. It was a bonus that you could dine in the other 2 Sandals resorts in St Lucia. This was our second visit to Sandals Halcyon and our 7th to a Sandals resort and while we love this resort, we are starting to find the food quite repetitive. The menus don’t seem to change much. However, there is still loads of choice - especially if you go to the other 2 resorts as well. Didn’t think much of the Indian restaurant at the Grande this time as the curry was very watery (lamb rogan Josh) and we were disappointed with the French restaurant at La Toq as they didn’t have the duck or the sole - and that’s why we went! Entertainment wasn’t really to our liking but still had a fab time. Our room had a private plunge pool but there were so many mosquitoes we didn’t get to use it much.
was put on wrong bus to airport then brought back after blaming myself and my spouse they charged us 5oo dollars a night because we wee stuck for 2 more days they tried to charge us 1000 dollars had butlers, dont bother go get your own drinks never ever going to a sandals resort again esp this one
The property here is well maintained and the staff is great. Compared to other Sandals resorts we've stayed at the food quality could use some improvement. We had a great time and would recommend a stay here at least once.
We truly enjoyed our 5-night stay. We opted for a swim up butler room and it was worth every penny. We were seeking a laid back slow paced holiday to decompress from the daily grind and this resort truly delivered. Small and beautiful the staff met our every need even when that was napping in the afternoons and laying by the beach or pool. I cannot recommend our butler team Christa, Tyler, and Christal enough. They brought us activities and snacks unsolicited and really read the room helping us enjoy our stay with minimal decisions needed on our part. They were intuitive in the service they provided fun, kind and truly made our stay care free. We have a high paced life at home and spend a lot of time making decisions it was unbelievably refreshing to hand them a list of wants on our own schedule and allow them To make magic for us. We enjoyed the pool tables and entertainment and the food was stellar and varied. I think it is very likely we will return soon. This break was rejuvenating and I exactly what we needed. Highly recommend the Halcyon and the sandals resorts over all!
A beautiful resort with a boutique feel and an astonishing atmosphere, giving us a true taste of Saint Lucia. From the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. The resort provided an open, welcoming environment where rest, relaxation, and enjoyment were always present. The culinary experience was exceptional. Chef Nayak seduced our palates with his creative use of spices, flavors, and culinary techniques. Every dish reflected care, skill, and an appreciation for the island’s rich culinary culture. The rooms were well-appointed, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I was also pleased to see that the resort is ADA-compliant and accommodating, making the experience accessible and welcoming to a wider range of guests. My only complaint—and truly my only complaint—is that the resort brand has stopped providing the destination T-shirts. As a longtime guest, those shirts have become meaningful souvenirs and are part of my collection. I am now missing one of two destination shirts from my collection, which was disappointing. Other than that, the experience was wonderful. The resort made the most of what it had, and the entire team delivered an experience that allowed us to relax, enjoy ourselves, and appreciate a genuine taste of Saint Lucia. 777 deal gets you closer
