We had such a wonderful stay at this resort in September and truly enjoyed every moment of it. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a beautiful swim-up pool overlooking the sea. Waking up to that view was absolutely amazing!
There were plenty of restaurants and food options to choose from, so we never ran out of something new to try. The resort grounds were beautiful and impeccably maintained, making the entire property feel welcoming and relaxing.
A special thank you to our two butlers, Michelle and Nicolas, who took such great care of us and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and willingness to help really made a difference.
We also want to give a special shout-out to Donovan and Chana at the Hideaway Bar, Simone at Dorado for breakfast, and Teresha at the Main/Sands Bar. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and helped make our vacation memorable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Royalton and truly enjoyed our vacation. The resort had just reopened, so there were a few kinks that still needed to be worked out, which was understandable given the timing. With a little time to get everything running smoothly again, we look forward to returning.
What really made our stay special was the staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. They went out of their way to make us feel valued and taken care of, and that level of service made a lasting impression.
A very special shout-out to Yanika, Keno, Donovan, Chickpea, Stafford, and Natalie. Each of you made our experience even better, and we truly appreciate the kindness and hospitality you showed us.
Overall, we had a great time and created some wonderful memories. We would definitely consider returning, especially once the resort has had more time to work through the reopening adjustments. Thank you to the entire Royalton team for making our vacation so enjoyable
Came the 2nd week after opening. In my opinion it opened to early. Waited 2 hrs for room to be ready. Welcome fruit platter was 3 whole apples, 2 plums and a few bunches of grapes. Not very welcoming. TV worked sporadically and phone never worked. A/C went out for a day and resort lost power twice overnight. Jacuzzi never worked. Presidentual suite not what I expected. Very basic no pictures on the wall and furniture not very comfortable. The hotel free water sports was not operational. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Our butler Melissa always had a smile and was very helpful. Buffet selection was ok. Food was never hot but warm. Had dinner on the beach and the server was great. He was alone and running back and forth for us. The photographer that took our pictures that night was great. Highly recommend both dinner on the beach and having photographer take pictures while you are there. Hotel is beautiful on the outside. Inside still being worked on.
The resort had recently reopened, and while there were a few service challenges, the overall experience was positive. The room was beautiful, the buffet food was great, and the staff at the bars and restaurants were consistently friendly. The grounds and beach were also very well maintained.
The Hideaway check-in experience needs improvement. There was not enough staff available, the employee assisting us appeared to need additional training, and a facilities team member was filling in for the missing bellman. The front desk would benefit from further customer service and hospitality training. Additionally, the television in the room was not operational and was not repaired after the issue was reported.
Overall, it was a beautiful property with good food, a great room, and many welcoming staff members, but the Hideaway arrival experience and responsiveness to maintenance concerns need attention.
I was staying at the hotel and i enjoyed the gym. Jovie and garrison at the gym was amazing and did a fantastic cardio session and I feel energized and stretch and I think I will be back here soon and the resort is a very nice one to pick for family I will recommend.
