Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites

My honest review of 10nights stay at iberostar Hall Suites :

Pros :

Staff 10 out of 10 Massive shout out to room cleaners bar staff restaurant staff and dront desk, all happy attentive and nothing but good things to say about them, they are a credit to behold and very hard working.

Lazy river was just Amazing 10 out of 10

Food buffet and restaurants Amazing selection and extremely tasty 10 out of 10

Daiky games and shows 10 out of 10

Drinks great premium selection 10 out of 10

Beech and sand was just to die for true caribbean experience 10 out of 10

Great for the family with kids as they star kids club is amazing or couples but teens will get bored.

20mins form airport which is amazing. 10 out of 10

Quick check in and 2hours extra for late checkout for ING members. 10 out of 10

If you stay at selection for have free access to iberostar waves located next door. 10 out of 10

We have lots of amazing memories and family pictures. 10 out of 10

Cons : Not a 5star hotel if your going to compare to hurgarda, sharm, dubai, newyork, turkey, beaches ja or moon place ja.

To know a true 5star resort is when your sitting the beech with an empty glass and if just by magic someone appears and tops up your glass or takes your order for a refill lol

Rooms SUPER DATED everything was old broken bent or just not working to a 5star standard but comfortable which is the main thing.

Air con has a low setting at 19.5 degrees and bathroom filiters are dirty 4 out of 10

Don't look under the beds as it will give you nightmares 4 out of 10

WiFi not the best just basic 5 out of 10

Hotel is very old and has an over all damp smell and daily paint smell from patch-up work to rooms and the general building 2 out of 10

Daily noise of building works or ground maintenance. 2 out of 10

Room service was very basic not to a 5star standard. 4 out of 10

This hotel is just very tired looking just a general dump or mouldy smell. 3 out of 10

On site night club not giving the authentic vibe we was hoping for but the free alcohol does help. 6 out of 10

Fridge does not freeze and our one leaked. 3 out of 10

Hotel location a short taxi ride from montego bay definitely not walkable, if you want to mingle and get the real jamaica stay in ochi or negrill or closer to mobay centre. 5 out of 10

Would I return and was it value for money, the answer is no we would not return but this is only based on my extensive experience of travelling and staying all over jamaica, was it value for money, yes for a family of 4 for 10nights all-inclusive flying from the UK just under 9k win win.

On a side note book montego bay vip lounge if you have a virgjn atlantic night time return.

If flying with tui no vip needed just save your money.

The trip to selection hotel was amazing and to our concierge Jessica at the concierge desk was exceptional. She was very friendly and welcoming I will definitely go back.
