Riu is relaxing and the food is delicious. I am going back in three weeks and I highly recommend it. If you can’t find something you like on this buffet, something is very wrong. From breakfast lunch through dinner the service is excellent. The staff is kind. And the crew that runs the entertainment is awesome! Come lay on the beach, swim in the clear blue ocean, have a cocktail and play Jenga in the pool.
The staff were amazing, big up Odane and Edwin. The food was amazing and the place was very clean and the entertainment team were fun especially the beach and pool parties
The beach’s were nice the staffs were pleasant the food was very good, the room attendant could pay more attention to cleaning the rooms the rooms also require some TLC
We spent a week at Riu Ocho Rios for a family break. Our boys 6 & 10 absolutely loved every moment of their stay; from the ambience of the room to the water plays during the day and everything else in between not to mention to open buffet. They loved dining at St Ann's restaurant. Thank you Riu Ocho Rios for making their first visit to Jamaica an unforgettable one.
The hotel is large clean and very nice . The food is excellent, cooked fresh in front of you and is varied. Some of the wait staff could cheer up , a smile would be nice , and yes I did see some of the dirty looks I was given, it's surprising how quickly they come round when they realise I tip. The pool bar staff were lovely as were the life guards.. the animation team were good , I've had better.. but I've also had worse .. all the trips from the hotel , are expensive so haggle , haggle , haggle There are plenty of sunbeds so no ne d to get up early which is a bonus. The steak house was ok for a change.. but not the best. The beach is beautiful and we did the boat trip to Dunns river which was good , but still Expensive. Rooms are clean , block 3 is the closest to everything I would go back
