This hotel definitely doesn’t match the price tag.
To summarise our issues: Room wasn’t ready for two days The food is awful in all restaurants (except pier 8) especially the buffet. It was always cold too! The rooms are falling apart Excursions are way over priced book with a local company Forget a late checkout - they want the nightly rate of the room you have after 13:00 (pure greed). They are entirely inflexible with this too.
I could write a dissertation as to why I am dissatisfied but, I’d rather not sit here and type it all.
When you say thank you to staff they respond ‘it’s a pleasure’ like a robot and after a while you realise it’s not genuine and that’s not the only response you’d naturally give it’s just fake!
Staff also speak with a ridiculous American accent, it’s weird. As a UK national if I went to another country and hotel staff started speaking to me in a British accent I’d be offended.
However, majority of the staff are lovely and are hard working. Special shoutout to lifeguard Chambers.
Brianna, Dontay, Iyanla, Kamalee are really great entertainers and DANCERS.
Juan is so friendly and helpful, professional in his job, giving us enough time to know how to ride the wiberite with my son, and getting us a fun and enjoyable time
Nathan was absolutely amazing! He provided great service, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. He has such a great personality and made our experience even more enjoyable. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in what he does. Nathan definitely deserves recognition for his excellent customer service. I would absolutely come back and request him again!
My family and I had an absolute blast! Traveling with two children under 3 can be a lot, but this resort made it so enjoyable for everyone. My children absolutely loved it, and there were activities, entertainment, and something for everyone in the family. All of the staff were amazing and so welcoming. We especially had the pleasure of being served by Oushaine in the buffet. Adian and the entire pool bar staff/entertainment crew who were absolutely wonderful and made our experience even more special.The shows in the night and pool exercises and entertainment was amazing in the day! We truly had an amazing time and created some beautiful family memories. We will definitely be back soon! ❤️🇯🇲
