Princess Senses the Mangrove

I want to share the incredible experience we had at the resort from august 11th to the 23rd 2026. The resort, the beach the staff, and the restaurants were amazing. Where to start... As platinum clients, the first contact was amazing thanks to Ricardo at the check-in, fast and effective... our room (5410) was exceptional with the balcony hot tub!!Then our butlers Dennis and Liam, outstanding services, always available and dependable. We only have great words to say about them, they attended to our beach set up, managed our restaurant's reservations, took care of our end of afternoon rituals (wine, hot tub, ...) they were more than 5 stars (10 ++++). Worren, these guys are great. And what about the platiunum experience... wowww. Exclusive pool and bar, the french restaurant (shout out to the chef and his team !!! great food and service !!!) also the staff Monique and all the girls at breakfast and lunch (who wants short shorts lolll). Sorry if i am missing anybody but you all gave great service!!! The beach maintenance team was on point every day, so clean !!! All the food at all other restaurants of the resort was outstanding!!! shout to Sewayne at the Umami restaurant !! She even tried to speak french!! At the beach, Sheukarie gave great service always there to help and available thanks!!! The saw great musicians at the blue note piano bar... and what about Meggon our piano bar bartender with her signature drinks!!! thanks (franz smokey old fashion stole the show! Tobian your warmth and personality added to the experience! We will most definitely go back, hopefully with the same room and butlers (dream team) !!! I recommend this resort without any hesitation for the location, staff, food and amenities... People!!what are your waiting for !!!!! ;)

POSITIVE EXPERIENCE of 5 ⭐️'s with Princess Mangrove

Our swim-up room at the north end of building 4 on the adult side was large and beyond our expectations.

There were plenty of food options to choose from on both sides of the resort.

All the staff at the resort were kind, appreciative, and helpful.

A very big "shout-out" to some staff that added even more positivity to our experience.

Ella (AKA "Money Penny") always came to our swim-up main pool that is positioned adjacent to the North side of the Euphoria Beach Bar.

Also, "Shout-out" to the team at Watersports, which I visited regularly to take the Hobie Wave out to get my sail on.

This was also the first time I encountered and raced (2) local resident stingrays.

NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE of 0 ⭐️'s for Tropical Tours, (vendor on Princess Mangrove property)

Our only issue we had we had during our stay was with a vendor on the property, that sold tour packages.

Princess Managment staff were very understanding and attempted to mediate on our behalf regarding a very negative tour experience.

Tropical Tours were not forth coming on realistic information for our trip.

We were reluctant to leave the resort due to my wife having severe allergies to Fish and strawberries. The tour sales Person assured us that the place where we would have our included meal Did not serve fish or strawberries. We did not find this out until we reached our lunch destination at an out door food shack, where clearly fish was being prepared and a high probability of cross contamination could have easily occurred.

Another issue was time estimation of the sales agent. She mentioned that it was only 1.5 hr drive from the hotel. This statement was not correct. The actual time one way was just under 3 hours with the driver holding his foot the floor for most of it.

We were told to be at the main entrance at 7:30 am and did not return until 7:50 pm if you were to do the math over 13 hours between meals as we did not have any other option.

False assurances aside, reality kicks in for us, as once an EpiPen is administered you have 20 minutes to reach medical help.

This was also discussed with tour agent of our concerns, but was told "Don't worry, you will be safe, She also reassured that She has been doing that job for 30 years and we would be fine.

We later contacted the manager for the company and he also shrugged it off.

At the time of this post, nothing has been concluded, settled, or even an apology for being provided false information.

The hotel managment, that were involved with were excellent to converse with and were also following up with the Vendor.

Words of caution prior to booking with vendors

Ask all their questions you need, and if in doubt, review your new information the hotel shift manager for realistic outcomes of your desired "outside the wire" excursion.
