This family-friendly hotel is a special West Indian hotel set among tropical gardens that slope gently towards the sparkling blue waters of True Blue Bay. The unique design with tree trunk columns and exotic Caribbean flowers in every corner makes it a truly tropical paradise. Moreover, there is a newspaper stand, 2 bars, a playground and room and laundry services to take advantage of. Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Beautiful location and the Dodgy Dock restaurant very nice. Food was excellent and cocktails were amazing. Coffee shop on site was very nice- very good muffins. Was always able to get a sun bed as pools were never very busy due to lots of people using the dive school. You must do the Wednesday night as the band is very good and great array of food. Staff that stood out for us was Elsa, Sky and Akim who were all very friendly. Only downside was the amount of mosquito bites we got so would recommend you get good mosquito spray.
Overall, it was a fun trip. The rooms were nice and had everything we needed and expected. The bathroom is kind of a disaster, though. There is some stupid kind on floor drain for the shower that basically lets water flood the bathroom floor and not much else, as there are no shower doors. The restaurants are OK, nobody starved but they can be super-duper slow. The World Cup football (soccer) was happening, so you would think the bar would have that on TV. Heck no, the lunatics run the asylum. The workers kept the TVs on some YouTube channel that blasted their island ghetto festival with people (debatable) smeared with black oil and doing obscene dancing/twerking/and generally vile crap that no human being should be subjected to. It was certainly not family-friendly. The pool ws nice, beds comfortable, diving good, but the dive operation was very average. I'm glad I went but will not be going back. Too many other good places in the Caribbean. I've been to Roatan, Bahamas, Aruba, Bonaire, Little Cayman, Belize, Mexico (some more than once because they were good. I won't repeat Grenada or True Blue Bay, but probably worth going onc if you haven't been.
This was my fourth trip to Grenada, but my first time staying at True Blue Bay Boutique Resort, and I can honestly say that it was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in Grenada. I will definitely be returning!
From the very beginning, the experience was exceptional. The airport pickup was right on time. After landing, clearing immigration, and getting outside, I was met by the driver within about five minutes. He was extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming, which was the perfect start to my trip.
When we arrived at True Blue Bay, we were greeted with smiles and genuine Grenadian hospitality. The front desk staff were superb—not just on arrival, but throughout the entire stay. They were always willing to help, regularly checked in to see how things were going, and were happy to answer any questions or assist with any concerns.
The room was excellent, the amenities were great, and the hotel activities were top-notch. There was always something to enjoy. The restaurant was also fantastic, with great food and excellent service.
But what really made the stay special was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests were having a great experience.
Having visited Grenada four times, I have experienced several accommodations on the island, and True Blue Bay has definitely raised the bar for me.
Excellent staff. Excellent room. Excellent amenities. Excellent activities. Excellent restaurant. Excellent hospitality.
True Blue Bay Boutique Resort has definitely gained a repeat guest. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Grenada.
Thank you, True Blue Bay, for an unforgettable stay. I will definitely be back! 🇬🇩❤️
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was my second time staying qt true blue bay resort. We had an amazing experience and can't wait to return. The room was really nice, enough space, clean and we had out own balcony. We love that our room was upstairs so we was able to see the sunset. The staff was friendly, kind and willing to assist in all our needs. The food at the restaurant tasted amazing, I'm still thinking about that garlic lemon shrimp linguini I had. I can't wait to return to the resort.
Location was good, lovely area. We had an issue with very noisy children most days, as they came in on day passes with parents, who could also be loud with music blaring., not one of the 4 pools was exempt from the noise. Food was not the best either, restaurant service slow. We eat elsewhere after one meal. All other staff were lovely and friendly, including the cleaning staff. We had a cocoa pod room with sea view which was big and clean.
