Conveniently located on the beautiful waters of True Blue Bay on Grenada's Caribbean south coast, this hotel is the ideal holiday destination for a South Seas experience. Commanding exquisite views of the south coast of Grenada where the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet, it is just a short distance to the best golden sand beaches, waterfront restaurants, shopping centres, banks and the airport. Links to the public transport are around 1 km away.
This family-friendly hotel is a special West Indian hotel set among tropical gardens that slope gently towards the sparkling blue waters of True Blue Bay. The unique design with tree trunk columns and exotic Caribbean flowers in every corner makes it a truly tropical paradise. A total of 31 rooms are on offer and amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, air conditioning, a safe, a currency exchange desk, conference facilities, Internet access and a bicycle hire service. Moreover, there is a newspaper stand, 2 bars, a playground and room and laundry services to take advantage of. The restaurant has a deck built over the water, which allows guest to take full advantage of the views out over the bay. There are 3 parking spaces for those arriving by car.
Each of the beautifully decorated rooms comes with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, individually controllable air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, an Internet connection, a kitchenette, a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, ironing equipment, a king-sized bed, a hire safe and a balcony or terrace as standard. For family holidays, there are the 2-bedroom cottages with views out over the sea or the Indigo Rooms, all with connecting doors that provide very comfortable accommodation for all the family.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This was my second time staying qt true blue bay resort. We had an amazing experience and can't wait to return. The room was really nice, enough space, clean and we had out own balcony. We love that our room was upstairs so we was able to see the sunset. The staff was friendly, kind and willing to assist in all our needs. The food at the restaurant tasted amazing, I'm still thinking about that garlic lemon shrimp linguini I had. I can't wait to return to the resort.
Location was good, lovely area. We had an issue with very noisy children most days, as they came in on day passes with parents, who could also be loud with music blaring., not one of the 4 pools was exempt from the noise. Food was not the best either, restaurant service slow. We eat elsewhere after one meal. All other staff were lovely and friendly, including the cleaning staff. We had a cocoa pod room with sea view which was big and clean.

We stayed at True Blue Bay Boutique Resort while in Grenada for our son’s White Coat Ceremony at St. George’s University, so this was already an especially meaningful trip for our family. True Blue Bay made the experience even more memorable.
The resort has such a warm, relaxed feel to it. It doesn’t feel like a large commercial hotel — it has character, beautiful tropical landscaping, lovely views over the bay, and lots of little areas where you can simply sit and enjoy the surroundings.
The location was a huge advantage for us. Being so close to SGU made everything around the White Coat Ceremony very convenient, and it was wonderful to be able to come back to such a peaceful setting afterward. The proximity to the airport, Grand Anse and other parts of the island was also a definite plus.
One thing we especially loved was the number of swimming pools spread around the property. Rather than everyone being concentrated around one large pool, there are several pools tucked into different parts of the resort. Because of that, they never seemed overcrowded, and it was always possible to find a quiet, relaxing place to swim or unwind. We really appreciated that.
There is also something very special about the story behind True Blue Bay. Owners Russ and Magdalena Fielden travelled and worked in hospitality in different parts of the world before choosing Grenada as the place where they wanted to settle and raise their family. Russ is originally from England and Magdalena from Mexico, and they purchased what was then the True Blue Inn in 1998. Over the years, they transformed it into the beautiful resort it is today. Their daughters are now involved in the business as well, and you can sense that family connection throughout the property.
That history gives True Blue Bay a personality that is difficult to manufacture. It feels genuinely connected to Grenada rather than simply being a hotel located in Grenada.
We also enjoyed the waterfront atmosphere around the property and Dodgy Dock. There is something very relaxing about sitting by the water, enjoying the breeze and watching the bay. It became one of those places where you naturally wanted to slow down and linger a little longer.
For any parents visiting a student at SGU, attending a White Coat Ceremony, graduation or another university event, I would certainly recommend considering True Blue Bay. The combination of its location, beautiful views, relaxed atmosphere and thoughtfully spread-out pools worked extremely well for us.
Most importantly, this resort will now always be associated with a very special moment in our family, watching our son begin his medical journey at SGU.
We leave Grenada with some wonderful memories, and True Blue Bay was very much a part of them.

5 of us went to the spa on Wednesday. Some of us did the welcome package. I ended up doing the Wednesday Wellness package. 25 minutes of back and neck massage followed by 25 minutes of reflexology.Sue was amazing. I told her a little bit about some of my challenges with my shoulder. She worked how many of the tight areas. If you’ve never had reflexology done, I would highly recommend this all five of us. Had a great time. I was able to use the dry and steam sauna afterwards and they have a shower with chromotherapy which uses light therapy and adjust the temperature of the shower to produce a relaxation effect
