Located on the south coast, directly opposite the white sands of Rockley Beach, the hotel offers the perfect location for those seeking to enjoy the best of Barbados. Links to the public transport network are just a few paces away and it is around 5 km to the fish market, 20 km to the island capital of Bridgetown and approximately 8 km to St. Lawrence Gap. This brand-new boutique resort offers luxurious suites and attentive service. The all-white rooms afford contemporary tropical décor, which includes tiled flooring with woven rugs, sand-coloured rattan and wicker furniture. Artificial plants, and blue and white tiled bathrooms with pedestal sinks, are also standard features in all accommodations.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We loved our stay at The Rockley. From the check-in, cold towel and welcome drink to our first impressions of room 411. The decor and room contents were amazing. The bed could not have been more comfortable. The staff were outstanding in all areas. The hot and cold Breakfast was greatly appreciated as were the complimentary sun beds on the beach. Loved the two happy hours and atmosphere as well as the Managers Cocktail party. The location was perfect to venture out to the many restaurants and bars in the area. A large grocery store about an 10 minute walk and small convenience store in the strip mall next door. All in all we had a very relaxing 9 days at the beautiful “The Rockley” Hotel.
We highly recommend staying at The Rockley! This is our 4th time staying here and we won't go elsewhere. The whole vibe is just amazing and the staff are fantastic too! It's nice to kick start your holiday with a complementary lovely rum punch. The hotel is clean and they have lots of fun activities to do throughout the week. The location is perfect right next to the beach, a mini mart, nice restaurants and not far from St Lawrence gap.
A huge and special thank you to all at the Rockley we had the most wonderful two weeks. We especially want to say a huge special thank you to Deidreia, Tamilia and of course it goes without saying a massive thank you to the very famous Troy, these lovely people go above and beyond every day in everything they do, they made us feel like family and we could not be more grateful…… absolute superstars ❤️ Until next time, we love you team Rockley, love the Breezes xx
We have just returned from a brilliant 2 weeks at The Rockley. The room was very spacious and perfect for us with our teenage son as the separate lounge area with a sofa bed was perfect for all all to have some privacy. The bathroom was large, modern and very clean. The aircon and fans worked a treat and the view over the pool and out to the beach over the road from the balcony was lovely.
Breakfast was fresh and tasty everyday, the bar served great drinks and the all day menu was also very good.
The location was great with lots of restaurants and bars within an easy walk so eating out at different places each evening was so easy to do.
What really made our stay though was the staff, every single person was warm and welcoming and could not do enough for us. Our son in particular loved chatting to the staff and everyone took time daily to speak to him, he made so many friends and was treated like part of the family.
I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone thinking about a stay in Barbados.
The only thing we would have changed if we could was that the hotel also had a bar on the beach, vouchers for sunbeds were included and the beach was beautiful but it is across the road from the hotel and there are limited facilities there, if the hotel had a facility to serve food and drink there then I’m sure many people would have taken advantage of the service.
I stayed here with my two young adult daughters in a 2 bedroom apartment for around 10 nights. It’s a fabulous hotel in a great spot, just across the road from Rockley Beach. It was exactly what I wanted/expected - clean, functional, with exceptional service.
Our room was huge, spotlessly clean (housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay, so friendly too). The beds were really comfy. The kitchen was really well equipped. I loved that there was always ample (and good!) shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Bonus of having free washing/drying facilities on each floor.
The pool area is pleasant, if a little tight. We never had issues getting sunbeds, although of course we were there out of season. You could get fresh towels from reception whenever you wanted. The beach was just across the road, and you could get vouchers from reception to use the sunbeds there.
Breakfast was fine. I loved that tea/coffee were always brought over so quickly! There were usually 4/5 hot options, plus basic fruits, cereals, cakes, etc. We only had a few snacks from the bar during our stay, but these were all tasty. The bar & waiting staff were all lovely & drinks were good!
Two things make The Rockley standout - one is the location. So much is right outside, walkable - to Champers, Tapas, etc., or hop on a bus/taxi if you want to go further afield. Secondly, the staff are incredible. Troy of course, but Zion on reception was brilliant. Nathan at the bar. Everyone!
We so enjoyed our stay and I loved introducing my daughters to the incredible island of Barbados.
