This all inclusive plantation-style complex is located in the village of Valley Church, on the west coast bay of the island of Antigua, just over a beautiful white sand beach of clear blue water, from where you can enjoy amazing sunsets. This retreat offers a spectacular tropical environment to relax and disconnect from the modern world. If guests wish to be in contact with civilization the capital town is not far away from the hotel. Public transport network, bars and restaurants are to be found in the local area.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages and body treatments. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 4 outdoor swimming pools and a fitness centre. This Colonial property also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and gift shops/newsstands.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My husband and I stayed at Cocobay Resort in Antigua last year to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, and even a year later, we still talk about what an incredible experience it was. I meant to write this review as soon as we returned home, but life got busy — and honestly, this resort deserves the recognition, even if it is a little overdue!
This was, without question, our favorite vacation we have ever taken.
From the moment we arrived, the resort was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, incredibly clean, and exactly what we hoped for when planning an anniversary getaway. The rooms were gorgeous, the views and ambiance were amazing, and the entire property had such a relaxing, intimate feel. It was one of those rare vacations where you genuinely feel yourself completely unwind.
What made Cocobay truly exceptional, though, was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, attentive, kind, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay special. We did experience a few issues during our trip, but the way the resort handled them actually became one of the things we remember most positively. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and we were eventually upgraded to an even more incredible room. I wish I could remember her name because she absolutely deserves to be recognized for how wonderful she was to us.
I also have to specifically mention Kemlin, who helped us tremendously during our stay and was absolutely amazing. The level of kindness and hospitality we experienced from Kemlin and the rest of the staff was something we haven't forgotten.
And it wasn't just the accommodations or service — we loved everything. The food was fantastic, the activities were fun, the atmosphere was perfect, and even something as simple as pizza night became such a fun memory. Cocobay somehow manages to feel luxurious without feeling stuffy. Everything felt relaxed, personal, and special.
We have traveled to many places, but there was something about Cocobay that stayed with us. When I think about the perfect vacation — beautiful surroundings, amazing accommodations, wonderful food, incredible service, and the ability to completely relax — this is the trip I think of.
We absolutely plan to return someday. If you're considering Cocobay for an anniversary, honeymoon, romantic getaway, or simply a trip where you want to truly relax and be taken care of, GO.

Cocobay Antigua is absolutely amazing. From the moment you arrive, you immediately feel relaxed — the perfect place to switch off, unwind and enjoy paradise.
The resort is beautiful, the views are incredible, and the whole atmosphere is so peaceful and laid-back. But what really makes Cocobay special is the fantastic team. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and attentive, and they genuinely seem to go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need.
Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, enjoying the incredible views, having a drink at the bar or simply taking in the Caribbean sunshine, it’s difficult to imagine a better place to escape.
If you’re thinking about booking Cocobay, stop thinking and just book it! You’ll leave wondering when you can come back. ❤️🌴🍹

This resort exceeded our expectations! Not only is the resort breathtakingly beautiful, the staff was incredible! From Marlin helping us book our incredible boat tour, to Sharee & Melinda taking such good care of us. Jamal (not sure if I got the name correct!) handling our private dinner on our anniversary. The food is exceptional, the drinks are top tier, not watered down, the nightly entertainment. This is the first trip were we didn’t want to leave the resort. Everything was right here. So relaxing, rejuvenating & refreshing. Can’t rate it high enough!!!
EVERYTHING was PERFECT! Loved everything with no complaints. Location, staff, good, drinks, everything perfect. Staff and locals were friendly, the staff was very accommodating. So sad to go, but can’t wait to come back!
