So too is the spa or the traditional Hammam where you can experience some relaxing 'me-time'. Or simply opt for a sauna, Jacuzzi or massage - and let those cares just drift away.
Although there are a wealth or options to choose from in Agadir when it comes to dining, make sure you take some time out to sample the delicious meals available in the Tildi Hotel restaurant. There is also a choice to two bars for a cool drink pre- or post-dinner, before retiring to your comfortable room. With air conditioning, satellite television, telephone, mini bar, hairdryer and a safety deposit box*, you'll be very comfortable here for the duration of your sunshine holiday.

The Tildi Hotel is located in the heart of Agadir, just 200 metres from the beach. The hotel enjoys picturesque coastal views to its left, with the Agadir Oufella mountains to the right. Guests can unwind at the hotels attractive swimming pool and gardens or relax in the spa. The many shops, restaurants, bars and attractions of Agadir are also within easy walking distance of the hotel.
Pleased to stay at one of the best
The hotel rooms are nice and spacious, and the bed is nice and big, decent queen size bed.
The room is more of a 2 star, with need for maintenance. For the price the rooms are decent enough.
However, the noise level of the hotel and outside really lets this hotel down. There is a nightclub next door, and at 4am every morning you will get woken up from fights, shouting, and cars beeping. It’s a one way street, and as soon as someone stops and block the road you get about 10 cars constantly beeping.
There’s a patch of grass land to the front left, with three dogs that live on it. These bark at each other through the night . The hotel is also extremely noisy at night, door slamming is this hotel’s favourite past time. None of the doors have soft closing mechanisms on the doors. So don’t expect any sleep without earplugs.
The pool is decent, the sunbeds and towels are in need of some repair, but over all the pool was the best bit.
The service from the staff was a bit odd. No one really spoke English, which is not a deal breaker, but I found some people seemed to get service quick.
I found that I was ignored a lot of time, would sit down at a table, get ignored. Someone else would sit down and get menus etc. then when you do try and order food they seemed annoyed that you’ve come up to the bar.
The bar is also odd, there’s two sections the bar with no one on it, then a man behind another counter taking payments. If you want to order something they don’t want to take your order as the waiting staff are suppose to do it, that’s fine if they don’t ignore you. When you do get severed, they ask you to go to the bar for drinks, then have to wait for someone to serve you, then go back to the other counter to pay.
The room cleaning service was also extremely odd. I had a sense that the hotel just didn’t have enough towels for the hotel. The cleaners would arrive sometimes at 10:30, other times at 5pm. Take your towels, or take half of them, go clean them and then bring them back. Sometimes coming back several times to bring you your towels. I just didn’t understand why they just don’t take your towels, and just have another set ready to swap out.
Rooms are cleaned every 3rd day, with a quick mop of the floor.
The hotel breakfast was ok, very slight variation between days, could do with a bit more variation. Expect things like rice, potatoes, tomatoes, ham, cheese, pastries and eggs.
We didn’t try the evening meal, we had a look and for 120MAD we thought it was a bit basic and expensive for a buffet meal, especially when you can go to a restaurant around the corner for 60-80 mad a meal
Drinks are expensive in the bar, as too be expected. Expect to pay 10x. There’s a shop next door that’s much cheaper
Bar: 330ml coke 15 mad, shop 1.5l 7.5mad
Water is also 6mad for 1.5l while it’s 15 mad at the hotel.
I found it quicker to go to the shop and back than to get served at the outside bar.
There’s also no snacks like crisps etc at the hotel. Just meals / drinks. They don’t want you going to the shop, but then don’t provide any snack options.
Overall this is a ok hotel for a short stay if you manage to get a poolside room.
For a week or more, I would avoid, and go for the hotel on the beach front.

Pool, ...Pros, large pool, chilled pool music, free towel hire, comfy sun beds & NO sun bed wars. Cons...none.
Room... Pros, clean, spacious, plenty of storage but only 6 hangers . Seperate toilet & bathroom, fridge, clean. Quiet room,looking out into an atrium with a section of books. Cons, very dated & basic, hard beds & pillows, air con wasn't the best, no balcony, hair dryer constantly cut out.
Hotel in general....staff are friendly, and Hotel is clean. Has a spa and limited gym with 3 bikes only, and weights. No treadmill. Bar food very reasonable & tasty.
Positioned on a hill that leads down to the beach, about 10min walk, near some restaurants & ice cream parlour. Breakfast very basic, we stuck to pastries & cereal as the hot choices were questionable. Staff attentive.
Nice veranda for those that smoke to enjoy a coffee after breakfast.
Agadir is full of hungry animals, which was heart breaking. We also saw a homeless child, so sad. Opposite the hotel is another hotel car park, that has some dogs, we fed them every day & gave them water. They are so thin, so please feed them. We weren't the only ones going out with food to feed the animals & water to give them. Random, as there is no dog food to buy, but they enjoyed the cat food!
We used taxis, the orange ones and black and yellow ones are safe. Use one with a meter or make sure you agree on a fare.
Things to do in Agadir, the cable car, that was amazing we went at sun set. Its about 10mins walk from hotel. The souks, that was an experience! Make sure you barter. We went to the Medina too, that was absolutely stunning & a must. Cash is king everywhere, they are cashpoints around, one in hotel. Its so cheap, a 2 course meal with drinks was rarely more than £20. Pure Passion on the marina is excellent!
Would we return to Agadir, I dont think so. It was on my bucket list, but I wont be rushing back.
Location very close to the sea, markets in a taxi only works out to a fiver, atmosphere very calm friendly, room is basic disappointed no balcony only small space, pretty good value, very clean could change sheets a more regularly, no noise very peaceful, amenities pretty good, but wonderful staff in all areas of the hotel very pleasant and helpful, and food pretty good and snacks available during the day
We were absolutely blown away by the cleanliness of Hotel Tildi. I genuinely cannot praise the housekeeping team enough. They go completely above and beyond, ensuring our room was cleaned to an exceptionally high, spotless standard every single day. The same attention to detail was evident throughout the communal areas and around the pool. Everything was beautifully maintained, and the cleaning staff deserve enormous credit for their hard work.
The service staff were equally wonderful: extremely friendly, courteous, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Poolside food and drinks were readily available, along with a separate seating area if you fancied sitting somewhere away from the pool itself. Fresh pool towels were provided daily, and the gentleman running the towel station was particularly lovely, always friendly and cheerful.
Breakfast was another highlight! The selection was vast, with something to suit practically everyone. There was an omelette station where you could also request freshly fried eggs, alongside a Moroccan pancake station, which my husband took full advantage of every morning!
I particularly appreciated that the hot breakfast options weren't simply geared towards British tourists. Some of the dishes were a little quirky and unexpected, but personally, I absolutely loved that! I don't travel abroad to eat a typical English breakfast, so having a selection that embraced more local flavours was refreshing and a real pleasure. It was a wonderful spread each morning.
The location was absolutely ideal for exploring Agadir. Getting around was incredibly easy, with Uber taxis costing next to nothing, making the hotel a fantastic base for sightseeing and evenings out.
The hotel is also only around a five-minute walk from a beautiful stretch of beach. We discovered sunbeds just outside Café Jour et Nuit, on the left-hand side as you reach the beach, which cost approximately £4 per day for two people! Food and drinks were also available right there on the beachfront. An absolute bargain and a lovely alternative to spending the day around the hotel pool.
If I were to be incredibly picky, there are just two small areas where I feel improvements could be made. Firstly, some of the bathroom towels and bath mats could do with replacing. A few were quite threadbare, and occasionally the bath mat appeared to be a towel that had simply been cut in half. That said, they were always spotlessly clean and replaced daily. Secondly, investing in slightly softer, better-quality pillows would make the rooms even more comfortable.
But I really am nitpicking here, because these are very minor criticisms in the grand scheme of things.
Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful stay. For such an affordable hotel, the standard of cleanliness, the warmth of the staff, the facilities, breakfast and location represent exceptional value for money. It's proof that you don't need to spend a fortune to enjoy a fantastic holiday.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Tildi to anyone visiting Agadir. A genuine little gem and an absolute bargain for what you get!
