Beautiful Hotel with Outstanding Staff
We stayed at Sofitel for a week on a full-board basis and had a wonderful experience overall.
One thing worth noting is that full board does not include drinks, so these need to be purchased separately, which can become quite expensive over the course of your stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. It’s clear that the staff take great pride in keeping everything to a high standard. The location is also excellent, just a short walk from the beach.
What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel genuinely welcome. They also took the time to say hello to our baby, which was a lovely personal touch that we really appreciated.
Dinner was delicious every evening, while breakfast offered a great selection with everything you’d expect. Lunch was the only meal that was a little underwhelming. Unlike breakfast and dinner, which are buffet-style, lunch is served from a set menu. The options for full-board guests are limited, so it can become a bit repetitive after a few days.
A special thank you to Yassine, who looked after us at dinner, Fatima (waitress) at breakfast and Zakaria and Hiba, who were always so welcoming at the breakfast desk. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Hajiba, who kept our room spotless throughout our stay. She was always smiling, incredibly kind, and we truly appreciated the care she took in looking after us.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Sofitel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with exceptional service.

Lovely holiday
We had a lovely time at Sofitel Royal Bay! The service was very attentive particularly from Mouchine who looked after us throughout our stay. Fatima at breakfast was excellent too, always friendly and helpful. And also the waiter at the beach cafe (can’t remember his name!) who was excellent & kindly brought us cocktails to our villa. Only downside was our meal at Soul restaurant wasn’t quite what we hoped for but all in all a very pleasant stay.
