This hotel is ideally located right on the enchanting Bay of Agadir, just 100 meters from the fine, white sand of the beach and only just 300 m away from the lively downtown; 30 minutes to the airport, 10 minutes walked from City Center and 05 minutes to the beach. This Hotel is a beyond perfect holiday resort, set in magnificent grounds with a large, well-equipped, secure play area for children and tiny tots, tennis courts and a heated outdoor swimming pool area. Just to complete the leisure and wellbeing experience for guests, additional facilities include a relaxing, rejuvenating, therapeutic Spa, fitted out with a steam room and user-friendly fitness equipment, with exotic overtones – the opulence and authenticity of Moorish therapy.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. After dipping into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and an arcade/games room.
This hotel is not worthy of 5 stars. The food is repetitive, I basically ate beef every night for 10 nights. But what really surprised me was the entertainment.....it was really basic. For a 5 star hotel in peak season it really was not good enough. They did mini disco and then the hotels animation team just did a few dances on stage......for the amount we paid for this holiday I would have expected different acts brought in every night. Nope....it was the same people and the same thing every night. The snack bar just has very dry burgers or hotdogs. Yes the hotel is near shops, but every shop you get hassled and shouted at if you dont buy anything. I was very disappointed to be honest. And I would not return.
We had a fantastic week at Kenzi Europa Agadir. I had read many reveiws before booking so some the more regularly mentioned issues were already known to me, and this helped a lot as there were no surprises!
I visited with my two kids on my own, so was keen to have a place where we felt safe and secure. Kenzi Europa was perfect for this.
We found the food to be generally nice. Only one night were the kids not able to really find something they liked (they can be picky). There was nothing wrong, it just wasn't to their taste that evening. The McDonalds nearby was the fall back that night. Some of the beef stews were particularly delicious, as well as the tagines. For breakfast, the made to order omlettes and Moroccan pancakes were lovely.
One suggestion for food the hotel could consider: chips are served at lunch and at the snack bar, and very nice they are too. It would be great if they could also be served at dinner, as it's just another safe fall back option for kids to help fill up a plate.
Room was large, modern and spotlessly clean. It never felt cramped even with the extra bed in it, with three of us sharing. A huge TV with channels in various languages including English. The room had very efficient and quite large fridge, not a minibar, just fridge for your own water or other drinks. The bathroom was lovely, big, with full walk in shower. We were on the 6th floor, with a balcony overlooking the pool area which easily accommodated three chairs and good sized table. We found the WiFi excellent throughout hotel and barley used the data on our eSims!!
The elevators to the rooms were quite small and a little 'quirky' and could be prioritised for refurbishment. Not problem for us, but for anyone nervous about using elevators--the bumps and clunks could be an issue.
This is very lively hotel, I would agree with other reviewers that it would not suit those seeking a really quiet holiday. During the day dance music is played at the pools, which gets louder at game times. In the evenings there is real buzz around the hotel with the entertainment which sometimes also takes place in the hotel lobby. Even after bar closes some guests will stay in the pool area socialising so there can be some noise until later. None of this bothered us, but it could for some travellers
Drinks in the all inclusive were fine, I tried a couple of the cocktails and while not premium presentation or alcohol brands, they were very acceptable, and the beer was a pleasent enough crisp lager. Kids enjoyed the mocktails. I made sure to tip fairly regularly. This definitely helped, and the staff would remember you and your drink order and just be a little extra attentive.
Reluctantly we ended up playing the 'towel on sunbed' game each morning. While some reviews mention very early times, we were always still able to get something, typically heading down at about 8.15 am, it just would not be right beside the pool area, as the space around pool area is quite small and these would indeed be 'taken' really early . The pool staff will help you get a place and get set up if you can't find anything. The kids (and the adult!) loved the slides. Just to note the slides close each day at 12.00 and open again at 15.00.
Snack bar is fine, mostly the same cycle of food each day, and yes, as mentioned in other reveiws, there are wasps in this area attracted by the sugary drinks, especially in the later afternoon. I guess this is nature at work so you just have to live with that. You can also take your drink or snack to another area if you like. My son loved the pancakes at 4pm.
Location is great, less than 5 mins to the beach- which is a fabulous sandy beach, well patrolled by lifeguards. Never had any problem securing sun beds in the hotel's own private area on the beach.
We booked one tour from TUI, from which you could choose to do any combo of sunset camel ride, sand boarding, quads and bbq at the Timlalin Dunes. We opted for the camel ride, sand boarding and bbq. We had a great day, despite some logistics issues at the location. The tour providers were struggling to manage the big group, each family having a different itinery of activities, and there was a lot of waiting around to be brought to the right location for each activity. But once you got to the activity, it was really great, with amazing scenery out in the dunes at sunset. Just note the timings were not always clear, and the bbq didn't start untill 9.30pm, so it was a long day....we were collected at 4pm and dropped back to hotel at 11.45pm. If doing the bbq bring mosquito repellant, this was the only time we really noticed any on the holiday.
We also visted the Souk El Had, which I would really recommend. Had great fun haggling with the vendors, all in good spirits. A friendly but firm 'no thank you' accepted by even the more forward sellers.
A word on the hotel staff. They are all very freindly, worked really hard, whether in the restaurant, pool staff, the entertainment team, room cleaners or the bar staff. Thank you to all for helping to make our holiday so very enjoyable.
All in all, the Kenzi Eurpoa gave us a great holiday and was really good vaule for money, and we would definitely consider returning.
We have just had an amazing stay at TUI SUNEO Kenzi Europa in Agadir and couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was excellent.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants. Everywhere was spotless and well maintained, and our room was cleaned to a very high standard every day.
The staff throughout the hotel were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the very beginning. The restaurant offered a great variety of food each day, with plenty of choice, and the drinks were excellent. For the price we paid, the hotel offered exceptional value for money.
The pool area was brilliant, with plenty of space to relax and soak up the sunshine and the atmosphere. The poolside snack bar was a lovely addition, making it so convenient to grab drinks and snacks throughout the day. A special thank you to Allouli and Ben Alla for their incredible service and friendly smiles, they really looked after us.
A very special thank you goes to the outstanding entertainment team, Anwar, Yass, Ben, Yo-yo, and Ikram. They truly made our holiday unforgettable. Every member of the team was full of energy, incredibly friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. They encouraged guests to join in with activities without ever being pushy, creating such a fun and welcoming atmosphere around the hotel.
The daytime activities were fantastic, and the evening entertainment was brilliant, with so much effort, enthusiasm, and professionalism put into every performance. Their kindness, positivity, and ability to make every guest smile are a real asset to the hotel. They are undoubtedly one of the main reasons we would love to return.
We honestly don't have a single complaint. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we had an absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish.
We would highly recommend TUI Kenzi Europa to anyone visiting Agadir. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special, we would love to come back! ❤️
The hotel is really good, the staff are fantastic and make the experience great. A special shout out to Ben, Hicham, Yahia, Yassir, Nasser who went above and beyond during our stay. The food is good and available all the time we can definitely recommend the Moroccan pancakes for breakfast! There is a lot to do around the hotel and the locals are really friendly, we felt extremely safe. You do get asked for money down at the front but be firm and friendly and just say no they will leave you alone. Haggle at the shops they love it and they give you really good prices. We can definitely recommend getting the fresh orange juice here it’s amazing!
Fantastic holiday. The animation team is what makes this hotel! Anwar, YoYo, Yass and a special mention to Ben absolutely made my little girls holiday! You guys are amazing
