Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I stayed at this hotel with my family in August 2026. We had a pleasant experience; the room was spacious, featuring a balcony and a view of the pools. Special thanks go to Ms. Mouna, who took great care to keep the room spotless and ensured the linens were changed daily. The shows, events, and entertainment were excellent; I would particularly like to commend the entertainer, Mr. Iusuf Amine Zakaria, who guided the boys through various sports with passion and expertise. Unfortunately, there was a downside regarding the older security guards stationed at the main and seaside entrances; they constantly demanded to see our wristbands—even inside the hotel lobby—which is something that clearly really bothers guests. Such a suspicious attitude toward guests inevitably undermines the hotel's good reputation. Franco
Hotel transfer was 35 minutes from airport. Arrived at 11am and room was ready at 3. We could use all amenities while we waited and time flew by.
Food was good with a special every night (sishi, lamb, beef steaks). Dont forget your free trip to the 2 restraunts. Moroccan one was amazing but the seafood can be skipped with better food at the buffet.
Animation team were amazing and ALWAYS working. We went to 3 shows which are the team dancing to songs. They are good and far more energetic than I could be in this heat. They also had quizzes on every night and lots of things throughout the day including dancing, darts and a variety of pool games.
Pool was a little worse for wear with lots of broken tiles and dirt at the bottom of the pool from lack of decent filtering. Still good pools though but not many adults using them. Sunbeads are also all taken by 10am with the horrid 8am towel run - which is awful.
The rooms were exceptionally clean. Fatima, our cleaner on the floor checked in with us each morning to see if there was anything else we needed. Curtains and towels folded into fun shapes each day and lots of smiling faces. 3rd bed is just a sofa though so it might be difficult to sleep on for anyone over 12. Noise stopped at 11pm and sleep was easy to come by. Aircon in our room was poor but it as we only hit 25 degrees, it was never unbearable. Anymore and it might have been hard to sleep.
The hotel is RIGHT next to the beach. Bring a body board as the waves are too good to miss. Tipping is not expected at all but handing over 20 diram is a nice gesture.
We took a trip the Souk El Had while we were here. This is a MUST. We took 1000 diram and bought shoes, watches, football tops, body boards a tagine and so much food. Shop owners EXPECT you to haggle so go in 1/2 their price and meet at 2/3. Most things thay were 250, I got for 150 or lower. For money, we did a mixture of changing pounds at the front desk and withdrawing from our revolute in the lobby ATM.
Overall this is a fantastic holiday and we'll worth a visit. The hotel is a good all inclusive that looks after you and ensures youre well taken care of. I would recommend this to family and friends.
What a great Holiday we had!. This is a personal review not all about being negative, but I don't want to be unrealistically positive either! I have given the star rating based on the team who work in this hotel, and they are fantastic! I don't think we had a bad experience with any of the hard working members of this team, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. I want to call out some individuals who stood out (and I wish I could name them all!) Fifi from the Entertainments team (or little miss sunshine as my wife called her), even when the sun did not make it through the clouds on the first couple of days, Fifi was there to bring her own, she was friendly and enthusiastic and we liked her a lot! Kadicha who looked after our room, with some fantastic towel art and little touches around the room, thank you! Elhougine in the bar team is a lovely young gentleman who I think will go far, I wish him success. The “lovely jubbly”waiter in the buffet restaurant was also a star! As I said there were so many people I wanted to call out but It would read like a roll call or a staff rota, so I will say that all the team we met made our holiday. There are issues that the hotel is powerless to do anything about, as they are mostly self inflicted by the very Guests they are trying so hard to make sure have a lovely holiday! Sunbeds, yes I know it's been mentioned before but it is frustrating when beds are reserved and then no one turns up until 4:45pm and then just pick up their towels and toddle off and they don't even use the beds, (if you are those people reading this I hope your tans fade quickly!!) We refused to get involved with the whole Sunbed Arms race to see who could get up the earliest, If you chat to the Lifeguards around the pool they are lovely lads rally helpful they will locate extra beds and an umbrella for shade (if that's your thing) and put them where you like, (Big thank you to those guys as well!)
Some questionable manners around the use of Buffets that I won't go into here, but just some basic manners (on all involved would be a vast improvement!)
If The hotel has some spare cash, Look at the Ladies toilets in the reception, a new hand dryer my wife reliably informs me is much needed, and would help with first impressions. The hotel is tired and probably due a freshen up at some point, but it works well and you will have a great time!
The promenade at the front is great, to get and go for a walk with some nice restaurants and bars, you will get approached to buy stuff, but a polite no thank is all that is needed. Everyone we met was friendly and polite. The taxi guys at the front are also great, just agree to a price and they will take you there and and wait for you to take you back again, great way to see Agadir!
We had on reflection a great holiday, and that was down to the fantastic team at the hotel, if you have an issue talk to the guys at the hotel give them a chance to put it right, don't wait til you get home and vent on tripadvisor, google or faceplant book! They will do whatever they can to help any reasonable request from our experience, and they are all a credit to Iberostar as well as to Morocco and I wish we had more like them in the hospitality and retail industry in the UK!
Without a doubt the best holiday we've ever had and we go all inclusive every Aug to somewhere hot and well rated. The people of Agadir are such gorgeous friendly bunch. Hotel staff, excursions Maria Activités Agadir were brilliant, highly recommend Crocoparc, Paradis Valley, Camel and horse riding, cable cars up the mountain,, El Had Souk (Haggle, i walked out of a shop, into an other and got better prices there after they had witnessed me taking no nonsense! Stick to your guns, they will give in) you must see the goats in a tree.... Taxis, just agree a price and make it clear. The food was great, lots of choice. Rooms clean, true the floors are easily dirty but just ask for spa slippers from reception. Exchange money there too, reception again, much better rate than uk. The photographer is brilliant and not expensive or pushy. No one is, just say no and people respectfully walk away. The promenade is a must for a walk to see the gorgeous beach, massive waves, so much fun! We had room 3259 sea view and revelled in seeing the locals on the beach 'quietly' enjoying literally every hour of their 2 month school holiday. Absolutely can not fault this Hotel or TUI. We always tip the room service, waiters and drinks guys on the first day £5 each and again on the last night. They are so appreciative and it tops up their meagre wages, also means your table is set nightly with your drinks and you are looked after like royalty. Activities were great, we loved Aqua Aerobics and Water Polo. Yes, if you want a poolside sunbed you do need to go down at 7am. But we only did that once because we were too busy exploring or on the beach. We always found 3 together to plonk ourselves on when we returned around 2pm. The staff will happily find you extra beds and umbrellas, just ask! We paid about £45 for late checkout yesterday and had our room until 6pm. We left at 7pm after a shower and lots of hugs from staff. We had tears before we left, which is a first. We never go to the same place twice, ever. But Agadir has out hearts and this is one place we will return to. ❤️ 🇲🇦 ❤️
It started well. But the holiday-makers were loud, rude, obnoxious and racist in their behaviour. Unfortunately the staff did nothing to counteract it. The rooms are nice and some of the staff are really sweet, especially the waiters and waitresses. I would not return here to Agadir. Maybe it's a third world country and their attitudes could be based on this.
