⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great 7-night all-inclusive stay
We recently stayed at Amadil Ocean Beach for 7 nights on an all-inclusive basis. We were a little hesitant before travelling after reading some mixed reviews, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. We really needn’t have worried, as we had a very enjoyable experience overall.
Our room was clean and comfortable and was cleaned every day. The cleaners did a great job and provided fresh towels along with two large bottles of water each day, which was a nice touch.
The food was really good, with plenty of choice at mealtimes. It did become a little repetitive after around the fourth visit, but this didn’t really bother us as there was still plenty to choose from. The dishes recommended by the chefs in the evening were also very enjoyable.
We also visited both of the speciality restaurants and enjoyed our meals at both. For us, the Moroccan restaurant just edges it over the fish restaurant, particularly because of the live music and exceptional food. It was a lovely experience.
The location of the hotel is excellent. The beach is literally just a few steps away, and the hotel is centrally located along the beach promenade, making it really easy to get out and explore Agadir.
The only real downside for us was the drinks. We felt that the cocktail choices available to all-inclusive guests weren’t particularly appealing, and on a couple of occasions it seemed as though the bartenders didn’t put quite as much care into making them. We also felt that serving cocktails in plastic glasses, which are more suited to the pool area, took away from the experience. This might seem like a small detail, but we think serving them in proper glasses and putting a little more care into the presentation would make a noticeable difference.
Overall, we had a really good 7-night stay at Amadil Ocean Beach and were pleasantly surprised after some of the mixed reviews we had read beforehand. The location, food, cleanliness and friendly service all made for an enjoyable holiday.
We would definitely come back to Amadil Ocean Beach and would happily recommend it to others visiting Agadir. 🌴☀️
The entertainment team put on great activities and shows. Staff were generally attentive and helpful.
Unfortunately the allergen information was unreliable and food was often cold. We only ate at the hotel and a member of our group was hospitalised the day we returned with stomach illness. The reception called a taxi for us and the driver took us to a coffee shop asking us to buy him coffee and a beauty shop to give us a sales pitch - he also charged 400 dirhams for the short ride to the souk el had. Not sure if the taxis are affiliated with the hotel but as the receptionist refused to advise what a fair price should be I have my suspicions. Exposed electrical cables in the room. May have been a dead circuit but I wasn't willing to test.
For these reasons I wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend.
2 couples in Morocco for the first time. Requested rooms together by email but got no response and turned up to be at opposite ends of the hotel and on different floors. Mine and my wifes experience was good overall, room was clean and comfortable, bathroom a bit of a shabby finish but was ok Discovered our room was an ajoining room and door was not locked, had to get this sorted and took some time to do this. All inclusive drinks options were not great and juices were very sweet / syrupy. Restaurant was ok but things could have been warmer and needed topped up more often as regularly ran out and took an age to be replaced. A La Carte restaurants are a Moroccan option and Seafood option, one of out party has a seafood allergy but we were unable to transfer to the Moroccan twice (Guest Liason person was hopeless and not interested at all - looked really annoyed) so missed out on an alternative to the buffet.
Friend had to complain as room hadn't been cleaned for 3 days during the stay and then this was rectified. Pool staff were very clearly keeping sunbeds for people they either knew or were being paid by to keep them beds, pool areas were clean and in good order so can't complain other than the beds situation. Animation team clearly had people they knew and liked and spent long periods of time sitting with them chatting, didn't speak to any of them other than at night to go to one of their shows down stairs and it was absolutely terrible (International Show).
Location is excellent, views are amazing just let down by some little things.
Just returned from a week at this hotel. Asked for upgrade to sea view, which I was happy to pay for but reception did it for free. Overall the hotel is very clean with staff working hard but if you look deeper it needs updating in areas, especially the bedrooms/bathrooms. Guest relations lady was a total waste of space. Miserable and unhelpful. Bar staff were lovely. The animation team work very hard to entertain guests, but the constant boom, boom of the music round the pool most of the day is too much. I resorted in taking earplugs down just so I could try and relax. A variety of music would be so much better. Food in the restaurant was luke warm at its best, and I struggled on a couple of days to find something to eat unless I wanted cold pizza or pasta. Location is ideal but wouldn’t return due to food and the noise around the pool
I really enjoyed my stay here, the hotel is aesthetically pleasing, room is clean and bed is comfortable. The food is nice, the employees are personable and friendly and the entertainment employees create a fun atmosphere. Amazing location on the beach too!!
