Allegro Agadir Hotel

This hotel is slightly basic but has a lovely and friendly vibe to it! The all inclusive food is 70% fish and lots of repeated other options. The pool area is great and the club Jumbo staff are incredible! These staff made our experience here at this hotel. So welcoming and chatty. The amount of entertainment in this hotel day and night was amazing! From white parties to jousting with pool noodles club jumbo staff turn up with smiles on their faces. Sadly. Staff at reception appeared to be rude and unsocial at times. The location is brilliant only a small walk from beachfront with lots of bars and restaurants. The rooms are slightly below average with light fixings hanging off walls, sliding back doors that don’t lock properly and dirty floors on arrival. This hotel is having building work done which is sometimes evident in the quieter periods of the day. The drinks from all inclusive food areas were warm and often had no or too much syrup in but the pool bar drinks were perfect. The cleaners would also take away towels every morning but did not replace them until the evening so if you wanted a shower around lunchtime you had no towel which was inconvenient. I feel that for the price paid we were expecting more high quality (5 adults with all different experiences) Overall I would recommend this hotel but believe that the extra price for all inclusive is a waste. The staff made our experience much more enjoyable and we still enjoyed ourselves despite the few disappointing things. We would absolutely visit agadir again and maybe even this hotel without the food package

We have just returned from a 10 night stay and overall had an enjoyable stay although this was heavily down to the entertainment staff and fellow guests.

We had issues with our room upon arrival (which resulted in a room change after night one) and later issues with a/c which didn’t work properly for 4 days - it took 5 reports to reception staff who eventually (thanks to escalating to management) took action.

We found overall cleanliness and facilities were good. Communal areas were well maintained and only let down by dated building appearance.

Food was average. Very repetitive and bland but we generally always found something to eat. Moroccan night was a fave of ours due to the home cooked, authentic bread. Be wary of the bbq chicken as we were served it raw 3 times.

Waiting and bar staff were all amazing - super friendly and helpful.

Entertainment/ animation team were a real credit to the hotel and actually made our stay special. Abdel and team were super friendly and we enjoyed getting involved in daytime and evening activities.

Overall, we had a good holiday but it wasn’t the 4* experience we expected or paid for and therefore don’t feel we had value for money (this wasn’t a cheap holiday by any stretch).

We love Agadir but wouldn’t return to this hotel until the full renovation was complete.

The location of the hotel, was ok as it was in-between the strip of hotels. I arrived in the evening, as I had missed dinner there was no mention of anything. I had to ask for some water as there was none when I arrived to my room, considering the A/C didn’t really feel effective enough to cool down. I did not have a clue about where things were so I spent the next day working out how to get around the hotel, regarding what is available for me who was on half board too. The place felt like a bit of a maze trying to get to my room initially as I did arrive in the late evening.

When I did arrive the room had a bit of a damp smell from the bathroom and I think this was because the flooring was lifting. The balcony doors are not soundproof could hear everyone walking by the side of the road.

I had ants in my room which I had asked for them to clean whilst I went out for the day and it still was not done had to remind them. As mentioned they take the towels around 9am and you don’t get a new set straight away more like midday. It’s definitely not a 4* hotel in my eyes maybe more of a 3*, the food options were quite limited. The hotel staff who did the animation were lovely, but other staff throughout the hotel, were not as friendly. The room to get changed into once checked out is not cleaned frequently. The shower heads were broken and it was soaking wet on the floor and not a proper space to get changed, as the door leads off from the corridor.

The beach is a bit of a walk from the hotel like 5/10 mins and it’s like a roped area, no drinks/food options unless buying from the people selling on the beach.

I’d say for the price of the hotel, there could have been more things available as I thought maybe a gym would be there. They need better signage on timings and things happening around the hotel.

I would come back to Agadir but I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.
