Allegro Agadir Hotel

Just returned from a 4 night stay, rooms and grounds were spacious, clean and the beds are huge!!!

Staff were excellent from reception, bar,restaurant right through to a top quality entertainment team - well done everyone. No sunbed battles, pool area spacious and comfortable.

Food was ok, and you must remember this is a Muslim country so don’t expect bacon for breakfast. Lots of traditional food but a good choice.

We took a walk to the souk (approx 30mins) and took in the sights of the kings palace along the way. The souk however, wasn’t worth the walk.

We weren’t keen on the area away from the hotel grounds if I’m honest, it was dirty and didn’t feel particularly safe.

If we did return to Agadir, we would definitely stay here again as the hotel and its staff were excellent

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

I came here with my friend Tilly, and from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. We were greeted with such a warm, friendly smile by Badr, who kindly took our luggage to our room after we checked in. It was such a lovely first impression and really set the tone for the rest of our stay.

Our room was lovely, spacious and comfortable, and the housekeeping team did an amazing job every single day. Everything was always clean and tidy, and we genuinely couldn’t fault them.

However, the biggest highlight of our stay was without a doubt the staff. From the bar staff and animation team to the pool staff, every department had such lovely people working there. They were friendly, welcoming and always had a smile on their faces.

There are a few members of staff I would personally like to give a massive thank you and special shoutout to, because they really stood out to both me and Tilly. I genuinely believe they deserve to be recognised for how amazing they are:

Anwar – Pool Anwar was always smiling, incredibly pleasant and so helpful. He was constantly walking around making sure the pool area was clean and tidy, and he always made a point of saying hello. He was polite, friendly and just an absolutely lovely person. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure guests were having a good experience.

He works extremely hard and is one of those people who can easily go unnoticed because he is simply getting on with his job, but we noticed him. We noticed how much he was doing, how often he was cleaning, how he was constantly moving around the pool and, most importantly, how he continued to be friendly and smiley throughout it all.

Anwar is genuinely an absolute diamond and deserves to know that his hard work is appreciated. He was one of the people who made our stay so enjoyable, and I really hope management recognise what a fantastic member of the team he is.

Anwar, if you ever happen to read this — thank you. You were always so kind to us, and we genuinely appreciated every little thing you did.

Anouar – Bar/Pool ⭐️

I also really want to give Anouar a special mention because he went above and beyond for us throughout our stay.

Anouar works incredibly hard, and despite how busy he could be, he always made time for us. He would remember what we liked to drink, make our drinks for us without us even having to ask sometimes, and on several occasions he went out of his way to make extra drinks and bring them over to us.

What meant the most, though, was that he genuinely seemed to care about whether we were happy and having a good time. He would check in on us, make sure we had everything we needed and always greeted us with such a lovely smile. It never felt like he was simply doing his job — he made us feel genuinely looked after.

There were also times when he was left working on his own behind the bar, particularly in the evenings, having to serve guests, collect cups, tidy up and restock everything. That is an enormous amount for one person to manage as the evenings there were often queues of people at the bar, and I really hope the hotel considers making sure there is always enough support behind the bar because someone who works as hard as Anouar shouldn’t be expected to manage all of that alone. Despite him being so busy, he never once let it affect the way he treated us. He remained polite, friendly, patient, professional and smiley throughout.

Anouar is another person who really stood out to us, and we genuinely appreciated everything he did. His kindness, effort and willingness to go that extra mile made such a difference to our holiday.

Thank you so much, Anouar, for looking after us, remembering our drinks and always making sure we were okay. You are an absolute star and definitely deserve to be recognised for how hard you work. ❤️

Abdul, Ouassim & Ikram – Animation Team What can I say about these three?! They were absolutely amazing. So funny, bubbly and full of energy, they constantly put a smile on mine and Tilly’s faces. They were so easy to talk to and just genuinely lovely people. They made the holiday so much more enjoyable and were a huge part of the memories we made.

Badr – Luggage Badr is such a sweetheart. He would genuinely go out of his way to help you and was always so friendly and smiley. He made us feel welcome from the very beginning and is just a wonderful person.

Yassir – Photographer What a guy! Yassir is an absolutely amazing photographer and captured some fantastic photos for us. But beyond his photography skills, he was just such a friendly and funny person. He always made us laugh and was such a pleasure to see around the hotel.

All of the people I’ve mentioned above truly deserve a shoutout and recognition. They are absolute diamonds, and we genuinely miss seeing their faces every day. They were such a huge part of our holiday and made us feel so welcome.

🍽️ Food

The food was really tasty, particularly the Moroccan tagines and the stone-baked pizzas. We never struggled to find something we liked, whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. There was always plenty of choice, and we really enjoyed trying different things throughout our stay.

🍹 Drinks & Pool Bar

The drinks were okay overall. I did notice that some of the spirits, particularly the vodka, seemed quite watered down, although I found the gin and whisky to be much better, so I mainly stuck to gin.

That being said, the cocktails were enjoyable, and I also want to give a special mention to the lovely barmen who worked at the pool/snack bar during the day. I’m so sorry that I can’t remember their names, because they were honestly fantastic! They somehow knew exactly what we wanted as soon as we walked up to the bar, and on several occasions they even brought our drinks over to us while we were sunbathing. That level of attentiveness was so lovely and really made us feel looked after.

❤️ Overall

For me, the absolute highlight of this hotel was genuinely the staff. The people we met here made our holiday what it was. Anwar, Anouar, Abdul, Ouassim, Ikram, Badr, Yassir and all of the other staff we interacted with were such lovely people, and I really hope the hotel recognises just how valuable they are.

We had such an amazing time in Morocco, and this hotel gave us so many wonderful memories. We genuinely miss seeing all of these lovely people every day, and I honestly wish we could have them around us every day back home!

Thank you to every single member of staff for making our stay so special. We will never forget you and would absolutely love to come back one day. 🇲🇦❤️
