Villa Makassar

A wonderful place to stay. Staff are attentive, welcoming, helpful, kind, warm people who make you genuinely feel like this is your “second home”. The room was spacious, clean, and anything we needed was immediately seen to (like another fan because us Brits feel the heat!) The pool and rooftop areas are both really lovely calm places to sit away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Marrakech souks; it always felt like a peaceful sanctuary to come home to when we had ventured out. I can not fault the stay, the staff, or the surroundings. Wonderful!

What a hidden gem! Our family enjoyed four days at beautiful Villa Makassar: a calm and serene oasis on the edge of the Medina. Great location and incredibly attentive staff (Ali, Jalila, Ismael, Zak, Ibrahim and many other kind and efficient folks), at this charmingly beautiful art deco ryad with all the amenities: pool, rooftop with jacuzzi, spa, hammam, and excellent restaurant. Wonderful vibe! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of a dream. From the moment we stepped inside, we were completely enchanted by the gorgeous design, the serene atmosphere, and the impeccable, pristine cleanliness throughout the entire property. Everything was handled with the utmost care, and every single detail was simply perfect. A truly special and heartfelt thank you goes to Jalila. Her incredible warmth, genuine sweetness, and boundless hospitality made us feel like family. She genuinely went above and beyond to ensure we felt completely at home, and she is undoubtedly the heart and soul of this beautiful place. Another absolute highlight was the gorgeous spa. It is a true sanctuary of relaxation—utterly stunning, beautifully designed, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The treatments and the ambiance were spectacular. We had a flawless experience and everything was top-notch. We are already counting down the days until we can return to this paradise. Highly, highly recommended!
