Went on budget weekend city break at thus hotel including breakfast ( pastries,salad,fruit bowl,orange juice,coffee,,omelette

Hotel was kl rustic , but loved old style doors,room was clean, fridge,safe,small balcony, ideal for me,
Facilities:- small dip pool and loungers but not a lot of sun good to cool down and relax from the heat.
Turns into restaurant at night time witch i used and enjoyed on first night as arrived late
But really enjoyed my oysters accompanied by sautéed potatoes and nice fresh bread,
My wife had pizza
With a beer and soft drink
All for me a good price 400 dhm 
To make easy for me £40
Manager and staff so welcoming 
Added personal likes
Left hotel 2 mins walk
Turkish steak house :- defo worth a visit
Also on walking to Medina 40 min walk from hotel stop off at new restaurant 
La Madeleine defo worth a visit for me the cookies wowww
And cakes for sylvia lovely
If not good with heat same as me
Careful with taxi,s get price sorted first  for me happy to pay
 50dmh £5 Medina to hotel 
But horse and carriage ride they very greedy asked for 500 dmh £50
Got 1 guy offering to do tour for 130 dmh  £13 but day later got guy to do 30 minute carriage ride round medina and drop off at hotel for 200 SMH £20
He happy and me happy

Marrakesh / Medina/ Gueliz in 3 days

The Hotel needs updating,Rooms are very dark unless you have Lights on all the time.Bathroom small,have Hairdryer, Beds comfortable clean.No Coffee or Tea Making in Rooms,Staff very nice, Tarik on Reception was lovely and very helpful,as was Holim & Yussef in Restaurant.as Menu in French only and had to ask what the Meals were.But Hotel was great for Location.Had a lovely Holiday plenty of places to Visit.

Hotel Le Caspien

All started well with a friendly greeting from the hotel manager ,but then it was just down hill .The hotel is in desperate need of redecoration and the rooms are very small with a balcony that is not big enough for two people to sit on. All of the above would have been acceptable for a short stay except for the appalling attitude of the male waiting staff. They were rude arrogant and downright disrespectful to my wife and myself .The 2 waitresses Dunya and Iman were and absolute delight and made the breakfast time a pleasure . Well done girls but as for the rest of the staff they need seriously shaking up.

Abysmal

I recently stayed at Hotel Le Caspien and would describe the overall experience as average. The hotel itself is fairly basic — the rooms were okay, nothing particularly special, and the swimming pool was small and more suited for a quick dip than a relaxing afternoon.

That said, what truly made the difference during my stay was the receptionist, Marwa. Her professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help went above and beyond. She was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making guests feel comfortable. Honestly, if it weren't for Marwa, I don’t think I would have stayed more than one night.

If you're looking for a modest hotel with great service, especially at the front desk, Marwa alone makes Hotel Le Caspien worth considering.

It was okay

Location was good for being close to the train station.  The lovely female receptionist was awesome, funny, friendly, helpful and spoke good English - she’s an asset to this hotel.  The swimming pool was a welcome facility during our exceedingly hot visit.

The rooms were dark and small and not that clean on arrival.  The beds were rock hard, pillows too high.  Key card randomly didn’t work and on one occasion delayed our departure for a meeting point due to them not being able to remedy the situation - luckily there was a helpful maid who let us in, albeit a bit late.  The free breakfast was disappointing.  Food was rubbery, dry and tasteless.

Yeah nah - go somewhere else if you can.

Le Caspien Hotel is located in the Gueliz district in the city of Marrakech, near the Carré Eden Mall, Central Market and from the main historical monuments of the medina and Jamaa El Fna.
