Nestled at the very heart of Marrakech's palm oasis, the hotel is located just 13 km from the Koutoubia Mosque and famous Djemaa el Fna square. Menara Airport is 15 km away. Surrounded by the peaceful gardens of olive and palm trees extending over 4 hectares, the complex blends modern architecture and traditional Moroccan elements. The sumptuously decorated rooms and suites offer incredible views over a sparkling pool, the artificial lake and the magnificent Atlas Mountains. Guests will be taken by flavourful dishes served at 2 restaurants. Afterwards they may have a drink from one of the on-site bars. The youngest ones will delight in kids' club while adults pamper themselves at spa equipped with Hammam, sauna and gym. Further leisure facilities include outdoor pool, paddling pool, sun loungers, aerobics, badminton, tennis. Travellers arriving by car may avail for on-site parking.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Third Visit and Counting!
Our third visit to this hotel lived up to our previous expectations set.
The hotel is lively, but this suits my children who are young adults and who like the activities on offer as well as the evening entertainment and dancing.
Some changes since my last visit are that the Zen pool bar area has been updated which looks amazing and they have created a gorgeous lake to add to the grounds which were already stunning.
The buffet continues to have lots of choice-it can get busy but avoiding those peak times really helps!
The staff are a credit to the hotel-nothing is too much trouble for any of them and it is lovely to see familiar faces including Mohammed in the lobby bar, Ishmail at the pool bar as well as Mouss. We also met some lovely new staff. They are all so, so friendly.
This time round I had a spa treatment which I would highly recommend. Had the Oriental experience which was a full hamman and a full body massage-very good value and was amazing!
The hotel shuttle service is brilliant and I think the location is perfect. You are away from the hustle and bustle but it is perfectly accessible whether you want to explore the medina or one of the amazing rooftop restaurants or bars.
My son had his 19th Birthday when we were there and they sung to him in the restaurant and on the stage and made it extra special.
If I had to make any suggestions for improvements, the first would be to have a tip box for the amazing staff in the bars and restaurants and secondly to make the sofa bed slightly larger in the rooms to accommodate 3 adults in a room!
Would highly recommend.

"Throwback to our hols. We stayed in the Iberostar waves Club Palmeraie Marrakech Hotel. Located about 20-30 mins from the Medina. The hotel is all inclusive and offered great variety on food. The Staff are amazing and the activities for the kids on site are great. We would definitely recommend and we will be back.
• There is also an adults only pool where you can relax and feel comfortable. Moreover, you have a huge choice and you will find it like home if you are a sports lover because there is a tennis court, a huge football pitch, mini-golf course, 3 ping-pong tables.....and all the latter (sites) are equipped with all the necessary equipment.
▪︎ If you wanna enjoy your time and have a great one, you should come and visit this formidable hotel.
• Furthermore, I will take this opportunity to discuss the staff.
– First of all, I want to thank the housekeeping staff who look after our comfort, because, frankly, the hotel was spotless and thoroughly cleaned.
– Then, I want to thank the entire culinary team, and especially the two chefs responsible for the food truck (the burgers are so delicious 🍔😋) —Chico & Chica.
– I want to thank the girl who pours the tea 🫖 because she so kind and helpful.

Lovely hotel, but the main pool was far too busy I would not return
The rooms themselves were spotless. We had two connecting rooms, which worked really well for our family, and we couldn’t fault them.
The balconies were tiny, so if you’re a family of four, you would struggle to fit comfortably on one. We were on the ground floor in a garden room, and the view was beautiful.
The hotel itself was absolutely spotless and set in beautiful grounds. You could always find something to eat, but the meal times felt too spread out. If you missed breakfast, there was nothing until 12:30, when the snack bar opened, serving only burgers and chips. Lunch was from 1–3, then there was nothing again until 7.
The all-inclusive drinks were quite poor, with no slushies for the children. The staff, however, couldn’t do enough for you.
There is also nothing around the hotel, so bear that in mind if you like to go for a walk and explore outside the resort.
The pool was just far too busy. For the size of the hotel, there was only one main pool, and it was unbelievably crowded. It simply wasn’t enjoyable, and you didn’t want to go in it. In the August heat, you really rely on being able to use the pool. There was an adults-only pool, but as we were travelling with children, we couldn’t use it. You could always find a Sunbed, but sadly, I don’t think I would return.
Average stay, but friendly staff and good value
Booked 3 rooms here to celebrate my Mum’s 50th birthday with family for 5 nights. We were initially placed in rooms far from each other but this was fixed after 2 nights. First rooms seemed to be in an older section of the resort, which was worn, but the new rooms were a lot better.
Pros of the hotel, the staff are wonderful, friendly and attentive to detail. The drinks and food for breakfast, lunch and dinner are great, although repetitive. Location is superb, out of the bustle of the city and the grounds around the resort itself are beautiful. Spa is great, booked a massage and hammam here and loved it. Entertainment also seemed great, but we did not have time for most of it in the evenings.
Cons of the hotel, the aircon in both the buffet and restaurant is extremely mild / there is none. Of course this varies throughout the year but in August this is certainly an issue. As previously mentioned the rooms are quite unremarkable for the rating of the hotel. Sunbeds are frequently taken up/reserved, this is especially a problem for the shaded large sunbeds by the adults pool, which will have towels on them throughout the entire day with no one actually using the space. Of course, reserving spots is somewhat normal in a resort such as this but something should be done about those taking liberties. The gym facilities are good but worn, and once again there is no good AC in the gym itself. Towel deposit system is really strange, so as many other reviews say it is better to bring your own.
All in all, the stay was fine, but certainly worse than expected but good value for money. Our first Iberostar (after hearing great reviews from friends) but probably will not be returning.

Brilliant hotel and staff
This hotel is truly exceptional, particularly for my son, who thoroughly enjoyed the trapeze activities daily, thanks to the wonderful staff there. Indeed, all the staff members were amazing, but those at the trapeze were particularly outstanding. The hotel was consistently clean, and the atmosphere, especially around the pool, was brilliant. I would wholeheartedly recommend returning. I would 100% go back!
