Nestled at the very heart of Marrakech's palm oasis, the hotel is located just 13 km from the Koutoubia Mosque and famous Djemaa el Fna square. Menara Airport is 15 km away. Surrounded by the peaceful gardens of olive and palm trees extending over 4 hectares, the complex blends modern architecture and traditional Moroccan elements. The sumptuously decorated rooms and suites offer incredible views over a sparkling pool, the artificial lake and the magnificent Atlas Mountains. Guests will be taken by flavourful dishes served at 2 restaurants. Afterwards they may have a drink from one of the on-site bars. The youngest ones will delight in kids' club while adults pamper themselves at spa equipped with Hammam, sauna and gym. Further leisure facilities include outdoor pool, paddling pool, sun loungers, aerobics, badminton, tennis. Travellers arriving by car may avail for on-site parking.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Overall, We did enjoy our stay at Iberostar. No complaints on arrival and managed to get an early check in due to room being ready. Impressed on arrival with facilities such as pond, football, tennis court, ping pong and trapeze.
The room was spacious and clean on arrival but I had noticed the inside shower had not been cleaned thouroughly throughout our stay as the same shower gel marks were not cleaned. The fridge and air con worked great and the hotel has iron and kettle available on your request.
Gardens beautifuly maintained and pool area cleaned every morning.
Entertainment people were friendly but the entertainment was not as good as other hotels in marrakech.
The food at breakfast was lovely, fresh omlette and Msemen. Atay available. I would comment that the area needs more than one toasting machine. The dinner was not particularly nice but there was something to eat. Same with deserts, i barely ate any here and usually eat lots because they are so good. However, the moroocan restaurant at the hotel was amazing! We all really enjoyed this! We do not eat bacon but this was the first hotel that we have seen where it available for guests.
Did not drink alcohol so cant comment but not too much choice of mocktails available when asked bar staff. There is water machines available throughout the hotel so take water bottles with you. I would also take a stanley cup or other cup for soft drink machines. Apparently the prosecco is nice there.
The spa was great and wash and blow dry.

Very disappointing that the shuttle bus does not take you right to the centre but 15-20 minute walk away. I have stayed in multiple hotels in Marrakech and they drop you right to the centre.
Also beds are very firm if this is something you find uncomfortable.
Main issue of this hotel was the parasols. It caused arguments between guests on several occassions with some wanting sun and some wanting shade. And they really do cover you. It would be better to keep one side of the pool parasol free for those who want to sunbathe and one side with parasol's. In other hotels in marrakech this had not been an issue as parasols mostly usually cover your area only.
Guest relations Bushra oftem walked around asking people how everything was which was great customer service.
This hotel and the staff really do look after the cat's here which was nice to see.
This is a cheaper hotel so overall i think it was ok for the cost. Due to entertainment and the shuttle bus, would be unlikely to stay here again unless a really cheap deal. Would have liked to have seen pool party, Kareoke, more pool games during the day.
This was a fantastic holiday for a Family of 3. The staff are exceptional, kind attentive and always willing to help or resolve issues. The Food is exceptional. One main restaurant may seem daunting but the quality and variety of the food makes it easy to pick something to fit your mood. If something is popular you may wait a minute or two for your portion but then its worth the wait. Activities are packed and the main pool is always lively, or a good place to cool off after doing one of the other activities around the complex.
Wonderful hotel with beautiful gardens and grounds. Great pools (including an adult only pool with its own bar). Beautiful restaurant with amazing food and staff. There's one additional restaurant but we didn't try it as the buffet was so good. Cocktails, drinks and wine are all great. There are also resident peacocks which makes it more fun!
Loved our stay here! Theres plenty things to do! They got pretty much all the facilities you need for a family holiday and even for couples.. Really nice entertainment as well! Well done to the entertainment team.. We have a toddler with us and it’s very comforting to have a bunch of friendly people! All smiles so thankyou! Special mention to the relations manager, Bouchra! We honestly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! This was already our second visit this year, and once again, it did not disappoint. In fact, we’re already planning our next break here for next year — that really says it all!
The food is absolutely impeccable. There is such an amazing choice, with something for everyone, and everything is fresh, hot and beautifully prepared. We genuinely couldn’t fault it.
The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, from the beautiful rooms to the immaculate grounds. You constantly see the staff working hard to keep everything looking and feeling to the highest standard, and their efforts really don’t go unnoticed.
A huge mention has to go to the bar staff, particularly at both pool bars and the Argennier Bar. They are all so friendly, welcoming and attentive, with fantastic service. A special thank you to Mohammed at the indoor bar, who remembered our order every evening — such a lovely personal touch and one we really appreciated. ❤️
The entertainment team are fantastic too. They are so friendly, energetic and welcoming, and they really help create such a fun atmosphere throughout the day and evening.
Our room was beautiful and cleaned every day to an exceptional standard, with fresh towels and bedding. Everything was always perfect when we returned to our room.
The drinks are also plentiful with no restrictions, which makes everything feel so relaxed and enjoyable.
And finally, a very special thank you to the Guest Relations Manager. Your care, attention and genuine warmth really made a difference to our stay, and we are so grateful.
