Best entertainment staff
Entertainment staff made our holiday really enjoyable and we constantly had things to do. Would definitely recommend!
Could be so much better.
Lovely welcome, cases taken and put aside, welcome biscuits and traditional tea and lovely lobby to wait as our rooms were not ready for 3pm check in. The hotel always smells lovely with oil burning around it. The grounds are beautiful. Pool areas lovely, some repairs needed but clearly work in progress. The furnishings around the lobby and gardens are beautiful. The entertainment team carry this hotel, they work so hard and are lovely, especially Hamza who we all thought was just so friendly and kind. The rest of the team were great too. Rooms are amazing and beds so comfortable, I didnt want to get up on a morning. Food - we are not fussy but all really struggled, the tagines lacked flavour, were cold and seemed to be mostly bones. All of the popular foods had long queues, such as the pasta, pizza and pancakes and wraps. One chef and one wok for individual stir fry (although one of the best dishes on offer), just get more woks and hobs! Pancakes made 6 small ones at a time and most people would take 2-3 at least and get some for others, just get more hot plates! Wraps/paninis very popular but made 6 at a time and people would take 2-3. Just get another panini press! Pasta again, one at a time so long queues. They just cannot keep up with demand but simple solutions would sort this. If you like the usual English breakfast items you will not find them here. Didn't bother us as breakfast was the nicest meal otherwise. Drinks are terrible! Only spirits are gin, vodka, white rum and whisky. Laughed at us when asked for malibu or amaretto type drinks. All are awful and also used in the cocktails. Many quests went to a local supermarket for their own alcohol as honestly it is just so bad, all the spirits taste like soap! Wine is not the nicest either. Beer is bottled was fine. Mixers poured from bottles so could sometimes be flat. No self serve other than restaurant so queues could be long even for soft drinks. Plenty of bottled water available. The bar staff work very hard it is not their fault the quality of the drinks are poor. Room service was also inconsistent, you might get a hand and bath towel per person, you might not, you might get a robe and slippers, you might not! There was some building work/maintenance going on, we didn't let it effect us too much, and the hotel adjacent is closed and a building site, but you would have to go and walk to it and seek it out. We found staff to be really friendly and hard working but don't think they have resources they need, and it is nowhere near a 5 star, not even 4 but it has potential.

It’s great if you like the sound of building works!
Location is perfect, short airport transfer. Arrived just before 11pm and the staff could not do enough. Our room was above the main buffet area 5123, this meant we had constant noise from staff. We would be woken each morning at 5am by staff setting up for breakfast, yeah we’re on holiday but was expecting a slight lie in. Sunrise is beautiful though and you get to watch the hot air ballon’s.
Food was so hit and miss, one day it was amazing next it was like two day left overs. Drinks, always seemed to be flat and when asking for a cocktail it was pot luck if you got all of the ingredients.
The noise from the building work was never ending, you’d be lucky to get a quiet hour in the afternoon. Work men repointing the main door of the lobby at midday so the fire door becomes a bottle neck. Probably not the best health and safety. I have looked for information informing us of the building works and none is available. If we had known the works were in progress we would have skipped this time, I’m really sensitive to sounds and due to location of our room there was no where to decompress from the overload. If we had been informed we would have gone elsewhere as when paying almost £2500 for a relaxing holiday we want to relax for a week.

Highly recommend
The Hotel was wonderful with attentive staff. The rooms were excellent as was the cleanliness. The Animation Team were incredibly friendly. Although the Hotel is situated away from Marrakesh Old and new town the hotel provides a shuttle bus. Highly recommend the Hotel for a peaceful holiday.
Not worth money
Nice hotel, not 5* worthy. Staff are extremely rude all round. Very aggressive towards tourists. Joe was sacked while we were there (animation team) for sexual harassment. Food was the same every day & night.
