Like the big Austrian guy said, we will be back. But, in the two years since we were last there there have been some negative changes and clearly some penny pinching cost cutting Let’s get the little negative niggles out of the way before moving onto all the things that we love and keep us coming back year after year.
The entire resort is looking a little tired and is scheduled for a much needed renovation soon. The lovely little birds in the lobby are gone and the lobby is no longer as pretty as it was. The beautiful display of roses, such a Four Seasons signature is no longer and has been replaced by hideous dried flowers.No more lovely roses in the room though we were sent some beautiful roses to the room which was charming and much appreciated. Towels and linens were a bit worse for wear and little things like trays of Room Service just left in hallways is not good enough for a hotel like this.
However, the rooms and suites are super spacious. The gardens are more beautiful every year and the adults only pool is great, the team of pool staff are so attentive and friendly . Fabulous gym and spa too. We didn’t eat in the hotel except for the pool bar for lunch which was good despite rather slow service, we were not in a hurry anyway
I love that this hotel is slightly away from the crazy of Marrakesh and yet only a few minutes by car. I like to have all the facilities , be able to relax by the pool and enjoy all that Marrakesh has to offer within a short taxi ride. The service is friendly and we are always so well taken care of which is why we keep on coming back - the many positives far outweigh the few negatives

First night, music out loud, can not sleep. This is not a Four Seasons. Beautiful hotel but if you want to relax after a long day this is not the place. Maybe, Ibis will be better. Shame on Four Seasons Marrakech !!!!
The Four Seasons Marrakesh is a 5* hotel and deserves every single star. Every Four Seasons hotel I've stayed in around the world have all been worthy of a five star rating. Marrakesh four seasons is among the best I've ever stayed in, the location is excellent, and at first unknown to us, as it's hidden around the corner, there is a high-end open air mall literally 20 seconds around the corner from the entrance of the hotel full of not only high-end stores but some superb restaurants offering the opportunity to try a variety of restaurants including Italian, Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine. The hotel itself is set in beautiful grounds, has two swimming pools ( family one & an adults only ), we both have excellent pool services befitting a four seasons hotel. As well as a Moroccan restaurant within the hotel and an Italian restaurant as well, there is also a rooftop Asian inspired restaurant/bar which was a joy to dine in and the staff there were like the rest of the hotel, top class. The rooms at this hotel are well appointed, spacious and because of the housekeeping service, cleaned twice a day to the highest standards. Special mention must go to all front of house staff. The guest experience manager Jihanie manages her concierge and receptionteam superbly, literally nothing is too much trouble. As soon as you arrive at this hotel you are greeted by the ultra professional Valets & Bellman team let when we were there by the excellent Ahmed. This was the start of our 10 nights stay and not once in all that time, did the standards of professionalism and five star service ever drop. If anyone reading this review is contemplating a stay in Marrakesh and this level of hotel, do not hesitate to book the Four Seasons, the all round experience of staying in this hotel would not be surpassed by any other choice. We've been lucky enough to stay at quite a few five-star hotels around the world and the Four Seasons Marrakech is right up there with the very best.
The hotel itself is stunning. The grounds are immaculate, the gardens are beautifully maintained, the pool and gym are fantastic and every part of the property feels luxurious without being over the top. Our room was spotless every single day and maintained to an incredibly high standard. It's clear that a huge amount of pride goes into every detail - for those who travel a lot you know it’s the little things that make all the difference.
What really sets this hotel apart, though, is undoubtedly the people. The hospitality exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was warm, kind and always willing to go out of their way to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and it was obvious that everyone genuinely cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. By way of example, on our first night, Morocco were playing France in the World Cup and the staff went out of their way on short notice to get us jerseys so we had a memory of our stay and to add to experience.
A special mention has to go to Amine. I'm not sure if he's the manager or part of the leadership team, but if he isn't, he should be. He leads by example, is incredibly professional and is a fantastic reflection of both the Four Seasons brand and Moroccan hospitality. You can tell the rest of the team really respect him and he made a real difference to our stay.
We've stayed in some incredible hotels over the years but this is one we'll remember because of the people. The service was genuinely exceptional and made what was already a beautiful hotel even better.
There are many beautiful hotels in Marrakech but I honestly couldn't recommend Four Seasons more highly. If you're sitting at your computer wondering if you should stay here…..just book it, you won't regret it.
