Currently awaiting response from reception re complaint, poor food, poor reception service, poor room service, cracked Waterpark sunbeds, repetitive food, no access to 'convenvience' food or drink after 6pm & nothing allowed in the room. Make it make sense!
Fizzy drinks flat as all poured from 2l bottles sat in melting ice. Found sharp bit of plastic in food at dinner, reported to waiter. Touch wood I'm an isolated incident!
Dont expect a sunbed at the main pool, there's not enough to go around. Without the "waterpark" - this place is nothing but a clean business hotel which has been converted.
Food and service times don't match third party providers or their own website. Evening entertainment is dire and late.
Maybe 3 stars would be more suited at a push, for cleanliness.
Delta Hotels by Marriott Marrakech Eden Andalou — 3-star experience at best.
Very disappointing stay. We booked a room with a balcony but were given a room with only a window. We had to argue with reception before they finally moved us to the room we had actually booked.
The security was also unacceptable. Our room was on the ground floor and housekeeping left the patio doors unlocked after cleaning. Anyone could have accessed the room from outside.
The rooms are dated and need a complete makeover. The food was repetitive and poor quality.
The worst part was the restaurant, where birds were flying around and leaving droppings, including on our table while we were eating. I showed staff photos and videos of this, yet was told they had never seen the birds. A waiter later confirmed the birds had been an ongoing problem.
This is nowhere near 5-star standards. In my opinion, 3-star at best. I would not return or recommend it. This is a true account so please take note and don’t waste your hard earned money. I would never write a review what wasn’t true.
I am reading a few of these reviews and really cannot believe they are about the same hotel .Football matches on a screen ?? When we sat there every day for a week never a hint of a match.As far as this is not a 5 star I find the package tour for all company’s over rate and seriously you would need to add a few thousand to the bill for a true 5 star experience .Getting back to the hotel very clean very family orientated the food was varied and good would have liked scrambled eggs breakfast option and would have liked cheese and crackers.The room was comfortable and large a bit dated but it’s a holiday hotel the sleep quality was great which is what matters would be nice to have at least one English TV Channel for when the weather was overcast.Now for the service lots of reviews saying not what they expected I thought the service was excellent in the day time we had drinks brought to us around the pool (wish I could remember his name he was very friendly and helpful)and in the evening we had the undivided service of Hind and Ali and their manager all of whom went above and beyond .For what we paid I think we had a fantastic deal . Final notes the entertainment is awful basically it’s watching the under 5s redoing their daily club offering. Overall I think this hotel is good value for family’s and couples it was wonderful not to see staff constantly on the phones
Excellent service from medhi in the restaurant
Arrived 13 September at 09.30 to be told can’t get wristbands until 11.00 never had that before at all inclusive hotel room wasn’t ready we asked for a walk in shower given 102 shower over a bath so next morning asked to upgrade or move showed us another room with private terrace but still same shower over a bath finally got the room we needed 134 . The food wasn’t great same stuff nearly every day my partner is gluten free and struggled with the food they did make gluten free bread and pasta but bread wasn’t available every day . The pools didn’t look anything like in the pictures the entertainment was non existent so the evening was boring especially as there is nothing to do around the hotel . The spa was good but you have to pay to use the in door pool which was never said booking our holiday . The drinks aren’t great either the hotel definitely isn’t five stars you can’t help yourself to food at lunch and dinner they serve you and they don’t like giving you a lot there’s a lot of birds flying in and out of the restaurant there was building work going on not told that either . We had to ask for towels for the room two days in a row as they weren’t left during cleaning you pay 200 dirham per pool towel get back when leaving.we got late check out at 15.00 as our pick up was after 18.00, the key stopped working at midday? As soon as you check out your wristband is cut off straight away so you can’t get a drink or food if you’re there for a few hours after check out .i wouldn’t come back to the hotel or Marrakech
