Five night stay with a friend to celebrate a milestone and although we had a great time, it was due to our making the best of it rather than the hotel. It was a bit of a shambles, to be honest - queues at the bar, grumpy bartenders, very slow drinks service at the buffet (we always had to go searching for someone to give us a glass of wine) and it all just felt a bit lacking. Even our meal at the à la carte turned into a drama because they tried to make us pay at the end, even though we were entitled to one inclusive visit as part of our package. We also had an employee knocking on our door - twice - demanding we leave even though we’d paid for late checkout. The buffet was very busy and a bit stressful. On a positive note, the Zen pool was lovely (although you have to pay to use it) at first glance, but then I ended up covered in ants as there seemed to be lots on the lounger I was on, and at least two of the loungers are broken and can’t be adjusted. All in all, I wouldn’t go back to this hotel - there are much better options for the same price. Oh and the cocktails are absolutely awful - watery and sugary, and the bartenders don’t care, they just slop the components in randomly. Stick to wine or beer!

All let down by one idiot let loose on the poolside mixing desk who forgets it's family resort and continually turns the music up to ear-bleeding levels through day.
The hotel itself is ok no way 4 star but their ok, the pools are lovely but the ignorant racist staff are horrible, if your not French they will ignore you they are absolutely horrible and they have made our stay very irritating cause of their ignorance, on arrival you are given a purple wrist band so that your categorised as British so that the staff there know to ignore you and bend over backwards for the French people that have paid exactly what you have paid, try explaining something to a member of staff and they walk away, I’ve never experienced anything like it, ignorant and racist is the only way I can explain the disgusting behaviour of the Valeria madina club resort, the cleaning staff that clean the rooms I have to say are very nice and helpful just wish the bar staff and the rest of the staff there were not as ignorant, the hotel is ok but dated and the food was alright but if you want a drink you’ll have to pretend your French or you’ll get a very tiny glass
Was greeted by friendly staff and as we arrived before check in and they allowed us to go by pool and have lunch which was so nice of them. The pools were all well maintained and there were so many sun beds to choose from. Lots of variety of food. The only issues was that the drinks machine ran out of drinks. They did provide bottles of drink that you could top up. It was difficult at times to find a glass to get a drink. Also the waiters seemed to favour people and get some people there table ready with wine/ fizzy drinks or water and this was due to them being tipped which I wasn’t made aware of until last day and it was difficult to get service unless you did. There was no information about the hotel in room and the hotel app had wrong information on it about the shuttle times. I felt you had to speak to someone who had been there a few days to find out where things are and how things are done. The hotel room was fine and the cleaners came and gave fresh towels and made them into swabs etc which was a nice touch. The cocktails were nice and had a good variety however depending on what size glasses they had cleaned depended on size of drink you received. The entertainment that was provided throughout the day was fun and the workers were always upbeat.
Had a lovely time break the entertainment was great round the pool.weather was fab looked after us all.
