Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Service here around the pool is excellent everyone so friendly hotel perfect will definitely come here again special mention to ismail thank you for all
This hotel didn't dissapoint, beautiful hotel, grounds and facilities really lovely. The staff overall are really great. So helpful and accommodating. A special mention for Irahim in the restaurant. He was sooo helpful. One of our party was vegan and Ibrahim ensured that a vegan option was made especially for him. We stayed half board and we had a couple of trips which included dinner and the hotel were so accommodating and allowed us to swap our dinner for lunch. The rooms were a lovely design. I would have rated the hotel a 5 star however in our rooms there was a smell of sewage which we believe was from the aircon unit. We reported this to reception and they did offer to move our rooms but we had unpacked and settled in the rooms. The smell was intermittent. They advised they would send an engineer to clean the units but I don't think it was cleaned properly. The other issue was the cleaning of the rooms. It was cleaned daily but not thoroughly. The edging and corners of the floor was dusty in both rooms. However, this would not pt me off staying at this hotel again.. overall it was a lovely stay. ❤️
We had a fab time here The hotel is gorgeous and peaceful and only 20mins from the souks etc. shuttle bus service great The food was divine and the drinks are lovely The staff are also brilliant Would highly recommend
I wish I would have done a bit more research Into this hotel. First of all I would say the grounds, decor etc are a 5 star however the service and rooms are not. The rooms are small and dark. The shower kept overflowing so water would come into the bedroom. The tv remote wasn't working, no hairdryer or iron in room. These things were resolved however you expect more from a 5 star hotel. The beds were really uncomfortable, 2 singles pushed together. There was always a queue in reception if you needed anything. The hotel is far from town, the hotel does provide a shuttle service which was very helpful. It takes about 20 mins to get there, this is to the old medina, if you want to go to the new part it's a further 20 mins in a taxi. This hotel is ok if you just want to relax, use the spa and gym and pools. Unfortunately the heated pool was always full, there were never any beds available, plenty of beds around the main pool but water was very cold. Food was OK, we were half board, there was plenty of choice and the staff are friendly.
Forget any idea that this is a five-star hotel. From an empty reception desk to the smell of sewage hanging over much of the accommodation, this is three-star at best.
We had to change rooms on arrival because of the sewage smell, only to find that the replacement room hadn’t been made up for the three people it was booked for. It took FIVE trips to reception before we finally had beds for everyone at 10pm — and one of those was essentially a plastic-covered sofa with a dirty blanket.
The “all-inclusive” was a misnomer too - incredibly, a proper cup of coffee wasn’t even included.
There was no manager available to speak to us, and when we complained in writing afterwards, our concerns were simply brushed off.
If you’re thinking of spending £2,000 on three nights, please take your money elsewhere. This is not a five-star hotel.
It’s particularly disappointing because this was an important break for me and my daughters. We were looking forward to a relaxing few days together, and the hotel completely let us down. What a shame.
