Aqua Fun Club Marrakech

I wanted to write a review that covered everything we experienced at this hotel and waterpark. We arrived late at night, around 10:30pm and were quickly checked in at reception. We were travelling with our 6yr old boy who eats like a hoover and gladly accepted a late night snack that was still available. Our room was a promo double room which was booked for all 3 of us. This is our only negative for the whole holiday, but it is significant enough to be a warning to others to check in advance. Our room was only a large double bed and a cot. Our son was far too big for the cot, but we were all exhausted so decided we'd all sleep in the bed and fix it in the morning. The next day we asked if we could have a bed for our son and were told they would try and get one. This never materialised and after waiting another day and mentioning it again we just gave in and decided the bed was big enough for us all! The room itself was lovely, always cleaned beautifully, a lovely balcony and a good shower in the bathroom. The air con was quiet and worked perfectly. The pools were always spotlessly clean, to be fair, everything was. No matter how early you got up there were staff always cleaning. The entertainment around the main pool was very inclusive and the animation team were always so friendly and full of energy. This made for a really lively happy atmosphere. Our particular thanks go to Ayyub who genuinely made such an effort to involve everyone and always came to say good morning, My son isn't one to dance, but by day 3 was up dancing around the pool with him and always happy to see him. The pool with the children's slides was fantastic. lots of good slides and shallow water so you didn't need to worry as much. Again, very well cleaned and the lifeguard was brilliant in helping locate my son's goggles. The waterpark was great and we made use of this on several of the days. It would have bee good to know in advance that some of the good slides don't just have a height restriction, they also have an age restriction of 10. I understand why, it just would have been easier to manage expectations before getting to the top and being told no. The restaurant we found to be just right for us. Lots of lovely fresh fruit and lots of things to chose from both Moroccan and European. We were never shy of something to eat that was delicious. On that last few days we had the most lovely waitress named Zineb. She is an absolute credit to your hotel. So polite, so welcoming and very attentive. I'm a huge believer in tipping when you have received good service, not tipping to receive good service. Zineb absolutely deserved her tip. Thank you again from us all. The bar staff were always busy, but still managed to interact and be playful. The drinks were decent enough and it was nice to be able to get cold water from the bar as and when required. It would be nice to have more than one bar open in the evening outside, but the staff did so well in keeping queue's to a minimum. I recommend taking a tumbler as it will save several trips to the bar during the day. I was a particular fan of the Columbus coffee bar. I stopped by on my way back to the room every morning for an espresso. I was served on day 1 by a lovely lady whose name I have rudely forgotten, however, she remember what I liked every morning and was making it before I even got to the counter. The staff helping with bags and just general questions in the hotel lobby were lovely and attentive. The handled all our luggage with care and looked after our cases on our final day so we could enjoy a full day by the pool. We so hoped to come back again next year, but the prices have gone up significantly so we won't be able to. We will definitely be back again when our budget allows. We truly enjoyed our stay and do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Thank you all.

What an amazing holiday we had here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and we were given a room over looking the mini golf course, which was a fabulous size and convenient to get to where we wanted in the hotel. All staff were amazing, from the cleaners, who ensured room was spotless everyday, to the maintenance team who worked every morning to ensure the grounds we tidy and maintained. The animation team I absolutely loved, especially Omar and another young man who had his 1st Aqua gym class with us when there (can not remember name sorry!), the whole team were great at encouraging everyone to take part and made all feel included. The energy with them was the best I’ve seen! The wonderful bar staff, who could not be more helpful if they tried! The slides were amazing, I can not wait to come back and go in them again! Food was great there was always something for everyone’s even the fussiest of eaters! Me and my daughters had the best holiday and we are looking forward to coming back early next year And we do not go usually go back to the same hotel! Thank you all! See you very soon!
