Voyager Beach Resort

We had a wonderful stay at Voyager Beach Resort, and one of the highlights of our holiday was the incredible entertainment team.

They are all extremely professional, kind, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. They create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you immediately feel at home. They are fantastic dancers, excellent volleyball players, and always full of energy. What impressed us the most was how caring and attentive they were with the children. They are incredibly kind, patient, and make every child feel included and happy.

A special thank you to Francis, Gerald, Jakson, and Rebecca. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and professionalism made our holiday truly unforgettable. You are an outstanding team, and we hope to see you again soon!

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, so there is a noticeable difference between the rooms located close to the construction area and those farther away, which are much quieter. We were also lucky enough to spend one night in one of the newly renovated rooms. It was much more modern, stylish, and luxurious. Once all the renovation work is completed, the hotel will be absolutely beautiful.

The food was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from every day. We especially enjoyed discovering the delicious local flavors alongside the international cuisine.

The only downside, in our opinion, is the beach. At high tide, there is very little beach available, and at low tide it is not particularly attractive because of the exposed reef and seaweed. We would therefore not recommend choosing this hotel primarily for its beach. However, if you are looking for a lively resort with a fantastic entertainment team, great food, and a warm atmosphere, Voyager Beach Resort is an excellent choice.

Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and would happily recommend Voyager Beach Resort. We look forward to coming back to see the hotel once the renovations are complete.

The fact that it’s close to the beach in itself is a huge plus for me. I came just to enjoy the costal atmosphere, the new rooms are so pretty and clean. The all inclusive package gives value for many, food and drinks are in plenty, and the workers here are super friendly. I would like to recommend one Jackson the night entertainment MC. The water aerobics by Jackson today morning was super fun and engaging. The construction going on is a bit of a low but over all i enjoyed my stay. Big thank you to the Animation team. Voyager has been like a yearly family pilgrimage for the last 16 years but they seem to slipping.

We patronize the hotel yearly and it has always been a excellent experience in the past.

This year it different. From check - in, my family & I were handled like 'strangers'; no past information on our past stays ; had to pre-pay for my stay in full (7 days) before being assigned a room, only to realize after checking in that half of the hotel grounds are closed for renovations :( My kids are quite disappointed ( Kids Club is their major highlight for the hotel ). Could the 100% pre-pay be a lock in?

Overall, still a good hotel but I worry the great Voyager might be losing it's place as Kenya's N.Coast's hotel of choice. Might be worthwhile to check before committing..
