Paradise
Wow – what a beautiful place – this really is paradise. We spent 5 nights here in July 2026 for our 10-year wedding anniversary and had the most amazing time. The resort is stunning, with white sand everywhere. The pool is great and our daughter spent hours playing on the inflatables provided. They made a great effort for our anniversary, and we had the most amazing meal on the private beach area watching the moon rise. The sea views are beautiful and direct access to the white sand beach is great. OK people will try and sell you stuff – but worth engaging with the guy selling wooden gifts – he showed us the workshop right next to the resort and there is some lovely hand made products. I took a glass bottomed boat out to the sandbank and there was superb snorkelling. The restaurant at the resort does amazing food and made efforts to cater for our gluten free daughter. The staff were super helpful and the place was spotless – although look out for the naughty monkeys who will steal any food you leave lying around in an instant! We were super sad to leave and want to return to this piece of paradise again!
Amazing
The most beautiful, relaxing resort I have ever stayed in. The staff were all amazing and maintained a relaxed yet attentive vibe. The food was delicious- especially the bbq on the beach- which was amazing and the Columbus monkeys were fab to watch. Thank you everyone at Waterlovers.

Relaxing by the ocean
I now understand why people sometimes want a holiday where they don't have to go anywhere or do anything .... Waterlovers provided just that! When you walk in, you are greeted with white sand, palm trees and the blue ocean and your shoulders drop! It is exactly as the picture shows. The room was comfortable, very clean, good mosquito nets and a good shower. You stepped out on to sand and were shaded by a 500 year old baobab tree! Bar & restaurant on site provided good food/drink options but you could also go into Diani Beach for other options. Good pool for swimming but also safe swimming in the ocean. Team friendly & helpful too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A place we’ll cherish forever
Waterlovers Resort will forever have a special place in our hearts. My fiancé, Chris, worked with the team to plan the most beautiful surprise engagement, and from the very beginning they were incredibly helpful, professional, and genuinely invested in making it a truly unforgettable experience.
Every detail was handled with such care, and the setting itself is simply breathtaking. The warmth and kindness of everyone at the resort made the entire experience feel so personal and special.
One of the things that touched us most was that the team even arranged a surprise engagement photoshoot with one of their photographers after the proposal. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture, and thanks to them we now have beautiful photographs that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.
A very special thank you to Abdalla, who looked after us so wonderfully throughout our stay. His kindness, attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine smile made us feel completely at home. He anticipated our needs, always went the extra mile, and was a true ambassador for the exceptional hospitality at Waterlovers.
If you’re looking for a romantic escape or a place to celebrate a once-in-a-lifetime occasion, I cannot recommend Waterlovers Resort highly enough. They don’t just provide excellent service; they create unforgettable memories.
Thank you to the entire Waterlovers team for making one of the happiest days of our lives even more magical. We can’t wait to return.

Asante Sana - Village & Giraffe
The kindness & accommodativeness of the staff made us feel at home instantly. It was an awesome week! We had a lot of fun &laughter with all waiters, security and especially the barkeepers (- including the best cocktails in Kenia of course) ❤️🍹🍻 Asante sana for collecting a lot of unforgetable moments with us and teaching me patiently Swahili :) Hakuna matata & maisha marefu 🍻 Also - Chakula tamu sana!!! The housekeeping did a great job as well, our rooms were always clean. Asante kwa kazi yako ngumu!
