Club Reef Resort

We came to Club Reef as a group, and what surprised us most was how quickly all of us felt at home. It wasn't just one or two people having a great experience—every single person in our group enjoyed the stay. We ate everything, tried different foods throughout the day, and thankfully none of us had any stomach issues at all. We felt comfortable, relaxed and well looked after from beginning to end.

But the most special part was how we connected with the people working at the hotel. Day by day, we got to know the staff at the restaurants, bars, pool and around the resort. We laughed together, learned a few Arabic words, shared little conversations and became familiar faces to each other. By the time our departure came, it honestly didn't feel like we were simply leaving a hotel—we were saying goodbye to people we had come to know.

And the feeling was mutual. The staff were genuinely sad to see us leave, and we were sad to leave them too. That says more about a holiday than any five-star rating ever could.

The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with palm-lined walkways, perfectly trimmed hedges, green lawns and lovely stone-and-arch architecture. Everything was clean and well looked after.

The food was out of this world. There was a great variety of pasta at lunch and dinner, grills, risottos and plenty of other choices. What we appreciated most was the fresh fruit available throughout the day, every day. I genuinely felt that I was eating healthy throughout our stay while still having an enormous amount of food to choose from.

The animation team were another highlight. They were joyful, energetic and danced to the animation song several times a day in the sunshine. We enjoyed it so much that we came home and were still dancing to the song! 😂 It became one of those funny memories that instantly takes us back to Club Reef.

We would especially like to say a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Ramy, the Director of the hotel.

During our stay, we unfortunately had a medical emergency. The hotel has a clinic on site, which was reassuring to know, but in our case further treatment was needed at a clinic outside the hotel.

This is where Mr. Ramy showed us what genuine care and hospitality really mean. He was there for us throughout the situation, making sure we were looked after and that everything was taken care of, even though the treatment was taking place outside the hotel.

For us, this went far beyond normal hotel service. In a difficult and stressful moment, having someone from the hotel personally present and making sure we were okay made us feel safe and supported. Ramy, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, your patience and for being there when we needed it most. You are a truly kind-hearted person, and we will never forget that.

We left as a group with full hearts, wonderful memories, new Arabic words, a dance we still haven't forgotten, and most importantly, friendships and connections we never expected to make on holiday.
