If I could give this hotel a 6-star review, I would. Absolutely loved my most recent stay in one of the Royal Savoy villas and the service was just so personal and efficient.
We ate in Soho Square every evening and I loved the seating area outside the Chinese/Thai/Indian restaurants which allow you to order a range of cuisines in one sitting. Lovely food every night too.
Fantastic location, ten minutes from the airport & Soho Square on the doorstep. Has its own private beach where you can snorkel. There is a lovely atmosphere to the hotel, the staff are fabulous, very attentive & nothing was too much trouble. They couldn’t do any more if they tried! If you’re all inclusive there are plenty of restaurants to choose from both within the hotel & in Soho Square & the food is excellent (you certainly won’t go hungry, there is food available throughout the day at various locations within the hotel). We stayed in a Royal Junior suite which was extremely spacious, very clean & had views overlooking the pool & the Red Sea. There were some lovely touches too, fresh flowers & fruit in the room on arrival & fresh pastries or cakes delivered to the room every day. I would highly recommend this hotel for the quality of care, attention to detail, food & the dedication of the staff to ensure your holiday is a memorable one.
We have just come back from the Royal Savoy, we have previously stayed in The Savoy but thought we would treat ourselves. Turned out to be such a good idea, the atmosphere was out of this world, the staff can not do enough for you. Drinks service by the pool was a bonus, they remember your room number and favourite tipples. How they remember everyone is amazing. It is well worth upgrading to S-Class, we would not go any other way now. You get to eat in all the restaurants in the hotel and also the majority of the eateries in Soho Square with drinks included. This provides extra variety and a nice place to spend the evenings. Big shout out to the guys who kept up us hydrated, fed and with towels by the pool - Ahmed Morsy, Mohamed Said, Ahmed Atef and George. You get a cool box by the sun loungers which has ice cold bottled water, cold flannels are brought around daily which is highly appreciated in the Egyptian sun! There are various places to go for a snack or meal at lunch time if you choose to do so. the Seafood Island has a wonderful view over the Red Sea. The Cave Bar provides relief from the sun if needed in the afternoon. The room was lovely, air conditioning worked very well and will miss the shower! Room is kept to an amazing standard, with fresh towels and bedding regularly changed. Our room overlooked the pools and could also see the sea from our balcony. The steak house, Le Entrecôte in Soho Square has a lovely balcony and the food is out of this world, the scallops and gorgonzola steak has to be tried to be believed! If you haven't tried Teppanyaki yet, it is a show not to be missed! We were served by Ahmed and Abanoub and they remembered us from our previous visit and that we even went with my parents last year. Would also like to thank Emad, who arranged for us to have a late checkout as our return flight was not until gone 10pm, which was an added bonus. He was very helpful, he explained about the points we have earned over our stays and what these can be used for. We enjoyed it so much, have already been looking for flights/holidays for March 2027 and we have only been home two days. To be honest, I was looking before we even returned home! My partner had an accident while shaving and we didn't have any plasters and the bathroom looked like a blood bath, reception gave us some cotton and antiseptic to put on it, took us up to the pharmacy in a buggy and even offered to come in with us if we needed them too. I felt unwell one evening (my own fault) and we had to cancel our restaurant reservation, they rang the room to see if I needed anything or my if my partner wanted room service - where else would do that? If you want to be treated like royalty, The Royal Savoy is the place to go and we will be back in the not too distant future.
