Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh

This is one of those hotels that genuinely wows you with its luxury. From the moment we arrived, the staff were simply amazing. Whether it was the room service team, pool staff, housekeeping or the buggy drivers, everyone was incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.

It is a big resort, so in the Sharm heat it’s not really practical to walk everywhere. Thankfully, the buggies are fairly quick and frequent. We were there when the hotel was at full capacity and only really struggled to get a buggy around pre-dinner time, which I assume is their busiest period. Luckily, our room was close to the pool and breakfast restaurant, but we used the buggies regularly to get to the fitness centre and main entrance.

There are two pools, including a gorgeous smaller infinity pool, but we spent most of our time at the larger pool. There were plenty of sun loungers, even when we arrived at different times of the day, which was a big plus.

The location is also excellent. The resort is right next to SOHO Square, and one of the hotel buggies will take you to the entrance, where you’ll find some good restaurants and a little shopping. Naama Bay is around 20 minutes away by taxi, while the Old Market is roughly 30 minutes.

Another nice touch is the amount of free bottled water provided, both in the room and around the pool. In the heat, this is a much-appreciated bonus.

One tip for taxis: you’ll need to haggle. We found it much easier to download the Sharm Taxi app, which takes away a lot of the hassle of negotiating prices.

Overall, this is an amazing hotel with genuinely amazing staff. We had a fantastic stay and would have absolutely no hesitation in coming back if we return to Sharm El Sheikh.

Our stay at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh was truly beyond anything we expected. The resort itself is exceptional, but what made our experience genuinely unforgettable was the incredible people who created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that we felt more like family than hotel guests.

A very special thank you to Captain Zakaria and Lotfy, the lifeguards, who played a huge part in making our family’s snorkeling, diving and swimming experiences so enjoyable. Their experience, professionalism and knowledge of the sea gave us confidence and allowed the whole family to enjoy every moment in the water.

Around the swimming pool, Younes, Raed and Raafat were absolutely wonderful. Their outstanding service, constant attention and friendly personalities made our pool days even more enjoyable. They always seemed to know what we needed before we even had to ask.

Our golf cart driver, Mohamed El Agnaby, became much more than simply our driver during the stay. He was like a wonderful companion to our family whenever we moved around the resort. His kindness, cheerful personality and beautiful Egyptian spirit added something special to every journey, however short.

At the buffet, Salma deserves a very special mention. She genuinely cared about our comfort and treated us with the warmth and generosity of traditional Egyptian hospitality. We never felt that we were simply guests at her restaurant; she made us feel as though we were being welcomed into her own home.

One of the highlights of the entire holiday was our padel experience with Coach Mohamed Hassan. Training with him was an experience in itself. He is an outstanding coach with an impressive ability to quickly identify each player’s weaknesses and then adapt the training to improve them. In a surprisingly short time, we could see a real improvement in our skills. For our family, having the opportunity to train with him added tremendous value to the holiday.

We also had unforgettable moments with Nasser and Captain Amjad Al-Saudi from the padel team. Playing competitive and exciting matches with them brought so much fun and laughter to our evenings and created memories that our family will talk about for a long time.

What impressed us most about Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh was that luxury here is not only about the beautiful rooms, pools, restaurants or magnificent Red Sea setting. The real luxury is the people.

Every one of the team members we mentioned made us feel genuinely cared for, and together they created a family atmosphere that is very difficult to find, even in the world’s best hotels.

We arrived expecting an excellent Four Seasons holiday. We left with wonderful memories and with people we will genuinely miss.

An exceptional resort, an extraordinary team, and a family holiday we will never forget. We cannot wait to return.
