The complimentary beach shuttle makes getting to the surf and sand a breeze.
Best thing about this hotel is the staff. Always smiling and helpful. Cleanliness was not to my standard. The floors were always dirty. The main resturant wasn't clean. The doors and door handles were filthy and the tables wiped over with just water. Advise you to take wipes and hand gel when you go to eat, this made us feel better about eating there. The food was typical all inclusive and plenty of it. We were disappointed to find the food was lukewarm at best. Therefore we waited until fresh food was bought out or only ate the food cooked in front of us to ensure it was hot. We wanted to book one of the other restaurants each night but, although it said you could it only allowed us one meal per stay in a speciality restaurant. We had a problem with our room (booked a twin, got a double). This was quickly rectified by reception and we had a lovely pool view room. Cleaning in the room was a bit hit and miss. The cleaner was asked to change the dirty duvet cover but just turned it over! The pool is lovely and there are plenty of sunbeds. The staff are always there to help with moving umbrellas, bringing drinks etc. You get quite a few massage people asking if you'd like to have one but it wasn't too much of a problem. Plenty of clean towels. There is a regular bus to the beach which was really nice. It is in walking distance if you want. There is excellent snorkeling there and its also shallow enough for children to go beachcombing near the shore. We didn't have children with us but they looked as if they were enjoying themselves at the mini discos with the enthusiastic kids club staff. The hotel runs a free trip to a show on a Sunday and Thursday an I'd strongly advise you to go! It was really good. There are trips available to book from the hotel and a taxi service to take you where you wish to go. There is nothing in the immediate vicinity but it's easy to get about. Wifi is good throughout the hotel. Entertainment leaves a lot to be desired. The acts they get in are good, however the events the staff put on are not. They are very amateur and seem to make it up as they go along. All in all it was a mixed bag. The staff and hotel itself are lovely but there is room for improvement.

Big thanks to shebi & all his team for great room & warm welcome so helpfull, thanks to Alla & boys at pool bar kept drinks flowing great service also loby bar bassam, Mohammed, el sayed, Ibrahim, Ali, john & bar manager Ahmed again great service also towel men Mohammed & Amir pool boys Abdullah Mohammed again great help truly a hotel where staff are superb they focus continuously making sure you have good time sorry if missed anyone great pool nice beach & bar snorkeling of short jetted with reef food good would totally recommend many thanks for everything steve &marion x nearly for Ahmed night time by pool great man
I want to share my experience with 3 members of Sunrise Remal Resort staff they went over and beyond for my granddaughter and ourselves Sedeek, Ebrahim & Alla this is our first time in Egypt and loved every moment because of these guys, bringing drinks to our Sunbed or sitting in the lobby bar making towel moneys crocodiles etc absolutely love you guys. To you manager please give them a promotion as they went above and beyond they are a great value to your resort.you’ll never get 3 great guys on your team.

Me and my partner had the most incredible of holidays. We cannot be anymore grateful to all the staff at the hotel, from the bar staff to the room staff, the lifeguards, and every other team. Everyone set an incredible standard in hospitality. We were welcomed all throughout our holiday by the enthusiastic staff who stopped at nothing to make sure our time there was the best. A special thank you to El Sayed, Mahmoud, Mohammed, Ahmed, Ebraham from the bar team, Omar who’s been tidying our room and leaving amazing towel art, Frederico from the entertainment team, and all the independent shop staff who are so lovely but especially Adam who owns the papyrus shop. Every single one of you made our trip that extra bit special and we can’t thank you enough! It truly is an amazing place and the perfect resort the stay. It has been an eye opening experience in the best possible way would recommend to anyone.
we had the most amazing time here! all the staff are incredibly lovely and cannot do enough for you! the service was brilliant, there was lots of food options and restaurants to choose from. the papyrus shop in the hotel is incredible! Adam is a lovely man and very knowledgeable with amazing pieces. we got a few bits from him and he even invited us back just for a cup of tea! he's a wonderful asset to the hotel! definitely worth more than one visit to see his wonderful artwork and his gracious hospitality!
