THE HOLIDAY FROM HELL. This was a disaster from start to finish. We had no cold water in basin. The plug in bath, didn't hold the water. The shower mixer tap didn't work, you were either scalded or frozen. It took 4 days to get a plumber, and only the shower and bath were fixed. Had to have the room sprayed daily, to kill the flies. We had a swim up room which was cleaned once in a fortnight. The cleaner we had was amazing, thorough and pleasant, can't remember his name, he covered room 4051. The same for the restaurant staff, couldn't do enough for us, can only recall one of their names (Daia and his buddy) were outstanding). Also, the Lobby Bar Staff. The Buffet Restaurant food was awful, defo didnt cater for British. We complained, but were basically told, eat or starve. As for the entertainment, there was none. We were told all the entertainment and amusement fascilities, were across the street at the sister hotel, but we could only use the beach bar, they did provide a buggy every 15mins to take you across to it. Have to say, the sister hotel was amazing, pity we couldn't use their facilities. My partner and I went for massages, i got the hot stone massage, which burnt, my skin they were so hot they actually blistered my shoulders, back and back of legs. I complained, was told they would arrange for another free massage, (did they think I was daft, after the ordeal I went through). Anyway, they never did get back to me to arrange another treatment. My partner, was in agony for days after his, so much for relaxation. It cost us £180.00, what a sheer waste of money. Defo would never go back to that hotel. To finish it off, it took us 1.40hrs to get through security, at the airport. It was so disorganised, no one was helpful at all. The holiday from hell.
This resort is truly exceptional. From the moment you arrive, you realize how dedicated the entire team is. There is a full army of staff working tirelessly to make sure you have everything you need and that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The food quality was outstanding. Everything was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor, with a great variety of options throughout the stay.
A special shout-out to Massoud at reception. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the best room possible, and honestly, he exceeded our expectations from the very beginning.
The pool area was always clean and well maintained, and the animation team did a fantastic job keeping things fun without ever becoming boring or overwhelming.
The gym was also excellent. A big thank you to Coach Mahmoud, who was always willing to guide and help, especially if you are looking for a more personalized workout or a special training session.
And of course, I cannot forget Figo from the restaurant, whose service and attitude made our meals even more enjoyable, and Hossam, who always made sure our room was perfectly clean and well taken care of.
Every member of the team contributed to making our stay special. The level of service, attention to detail, food, cleanliness, and hospitality really stood out.
Thank you to the entire Cleopatra Luxury Resort team for an unforgettable stay. We will definitely be coming back!
Cleopatra is a lovely hotel with amazing staff! Muhammad in the restaurant was so attentive and lovely…and shebil was such a nice person, ahmed at the bar cannot do enough for you and constantly keep the drinks flowing! Our room was always immaculately cleaned by reba (sorry if this is not how you spell his name, room 4051) Even the guys at the pool are super friendly and cannot help enough! Taxi service with the mobile is the best idea…!! All hotels should do this as it is much safer! we would do this hotel again but maybe at family side as entertainment seemed to be better there and you are closer to the beach. all in all Sharm was lovely and we are united our time here. The restaurant choices could have been slightly better & but entertainment too but that would be our only down side.

Beautiful hotel. Staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Reception, bar staff, restaurant and pool guys were all fantastic! Rooms were kept very clean and had everything we needed.
