This resort is located at Nabq Bay and has its own beach and jetty. The shopping centre at Sharm El Sheikh is approximately 20 minutes away and the airport is approximately 5 minutes from the accommodation.
This charming hotel is one of the most attractive in the area. Fully air-conditioned, the establishment is an ideal choice for both couples and families alike. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom. Meanwhile, on-site facilities include a newspaper stand, a TV lounge, a children's playground and a kids' club. A number of dining options can be found at the hotel, such as a café, bar, pub, disco and restaurants. Business guests will appreciate the conference facilities and WLAN Internet access, which is provided for a fee. Furthermore, room and laundry services are available, and guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the nearby car park or parking garage. Those wishing to explore the local surroundings can hire bikes from reception.
These guest rooms have an en suite bathroom with a WC, a walk-in shower, a bath and a hairdryer. The rooms themselves are fitted with individually regulated air conditioning, as well as amenities like double or king-size beds, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a radio/hifi, Internet access, a minibar and a safe. Furthermore, the rooms also come with a terrace or balcony with 2 seats and a table.
This hotel is not for the English it’s all Russian and Arab people that are in the hotel few English tourist.the staff are amazing and they tended to our needs because nothing was right from the start they gave us the wrong room.theres no hot water in showers room was clean. Food was bad apart from lunch fresh bbq homemade chips but repetitive I had to eat out the full 10 days at dinner because nothing was nice my kids got bad stomachs from the rice. Dirty around pool area and old crusty place this is a 2 star at best.entertainment was not the best music was the same few songs over and over and most of it was Arabic. Kids was so boared. Loved Egypt location was good close to shops ect.
The room is large, located on the ground floor with a balcony, and features excellent air conditioning. Some furniture—such as wardrobe doors—is in need of repair. The food selection is limited, though the food at the beach is consistently good. The service is excellent, and the entertainment team did a fantastic job. There are plenty of good pools with varying depths and temperatures. There are many mosquitoes in the evening. Internet connectivity is poor, even though it is available throughout the premises.
The staff are honest, dedicated, and respectful. I was particularly impressed by a lady named Diana; she is exceptionally skilled at her job, organizing recreational activities with a blend of sophistication and excellence, and her outstanding performance won the admiration of all the guests. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend this fantastic hotel to everyone—do not hesitate to visit!
Honestly, the reviews for this hotel have got to be fake, seriously no way that they can possibly be genuine.
The Rehana Sharm is amongst the worst hotel experiences i’ve ever had.
Rooms Filthy dirty, dated, shabby and way past an upgrade.
On arrival, in the early hours of the morning, I had to have 2 out of the 3 rooms we booked changed they were that bad. Dirty bed linen, blood stained curtains, filthy fridge, floor, wardrobe, bathroom and walls. The ‘clean’ rooms were marginally better, I’ve included pictures.
The floors in the room were dirty and not mopped or brushed properly to the extent that your feet were dirtier when you got out of the shower!
Not sure bedding was changed more than once during our stay. One of the mattress’ was ripped. Bedding that had been torn had been sewn together.
Plug holes clogged and rugs covered in previous guests hair.
Toilet brushes open and covered in excrement.
Rusty, dirty bathroom fittings and mouldy tile grout.
Key card system hanging off the wall. Broken, sharp floor tiles.
Food
Dire. Repetitive and made us ill. (We ate out for over half of a AI holiday because of this. Bonus - I’ve lost weight! Al a Carte Italian was revolting.
Restaurant filthy, floors and walls. Photos included. Particularly liked that the pigeons were able to enjoy a hearty daily breakfast cereal each morning; straight from the cereal dispenser. Queuing for food I don’t mind, but sadly, not everyone queues.
Drinks served in flimsy plastic cups. Branded coke and 7up and I’m told beer tasted ok, was warm, and you could only have wine if you purchased it.
Landscaping and grounds
Beautiful and well kept, staff work really hard and it is the best part of the hotel.
Staff
Mixed experience. Pool staff great. Didn’t really interact with the entertainment team (we sat by the pool bar) . Found some of the restaurant staff very pleasant, some not so. I imagine it’s a really hard job to be fair, some guests were very rude, not a please or thank you to be heard. Cleaning staff really poor. Everyone works very long shifts though, which must be hard.
Pool
Ok. Lots of different areas. Adult pool barely used. Main pool great if you like it noisy and pool bar pool a little quieter.
Pool tended throughout the day and kept clean, but it is in need of some TLC.
Location
A little out of the way, taxi easily accessible and reasonably priced to Old Market and Naama Bay, both of which offer lots of shops and restaurants.
Excursions
We booked via a guy at the hotel, lovely man. Boat/ snorkelling trip and quad biking are a must. Honestly, we had the best time at each.
Weather
Amazing! Could not be better.
Overall, not a nice experience but we made the best of it. First time visitors to Egypt and will not return.
This is an honest review. Arrival is great and they take you to your room.
We had 2 rooms. One had amazing air conditioning and the other did not. The rooms are cleaned daily, sometimes they are not. It's only a light clean as food and lizard poop was still outside for days.
Entertainment is run by young people and the music is very loud, you can't speak or hear yourself. The bass from the music will be heard in your room until it finishes at 11pm. Entertainment don't say hello to children or smile. They do their job and move on to the next job.
Pools. The pools are warm. The middle pool by the sky bar is very murky, so it's not very clear or clean and the music again is very loud. So we stayed in the pool by the snack bar and the music was less loud and pool was cleaner.
Food. Is very bland and repetitive. Everyone in our family has been using the toilet since day one as hygiene from staff is very poor. Flies on the food when cooking, sweat dripping from cooks head into the food. There is no passion for food here, it feels like an inconvenience for most of the chefs. People constantly push into the queues. At the snack bar, they have ice cream later in the afternoon, but most of the time is liquid ice cream as the staff don't wait for it to freeze.
Bars and drinks. Most of the bars except sky bar and allow self service water. For anything else you need to queue. There is only 1 person serving drinks at each bar and it does take a while to get service. Drinks on offer are, small cups and consist of - Pepsi, Sprite, Cordial Orange and Lime cordial. 1 brand of beer, Rum, whiskey, Vodka, Gin. There is nothing else included in all inclusive.
Both of the pool bars were closed during our stay, then one opened, but it was at pool for adults only, so we couldn't use it as we had children.
There is a random drinks and popcorn bar near reception, but the staff member is rude and appears to be busy talking to young girls most of the day.
The beach is lovely, it had a bar and food also. Staff are nicer there, but the bar staff are very moody. So don't expect great service when you queue for a drink.
It's ok for a cheap all inclusive, but after a few days you will start to feel disappointed with it.
Also inside the hotel you can book trips, hair cuts etc.But be prepared as they pester you all day around the pool.
We tried 2 of the restaurant you need to book at reception. Italian was ok and the Lebanese was ok, but not great. It's basically the same food in larger portions you get from the main restaurant.
We wouldn't return here. We also booked with on the beach and they showed pictures from the hotel over the road on our hotel. So be careful when booking via onthebeach as they don't care that the images are incorrect. They just blame the hotel.
