Hotel review royal rihana beach
I would like to say thank you the whole hotel staff And management for the amazing experience we had at the royal rehana beach the hotel a very good customer service since we approach the main door To the reception including the concierge until we check in to the room all was perfect. They were very professional polite smiling and very friendly We are a family of four People who booked two rooms , very comfortable clean and spacious. I would like to say thanks to all the restaurant friendly staff numbers and specialty Mr Allan Sobhi restaurant staff number he is really the star of the restaurant and the hotel we had an unforgettable stay We are looking forward Stay next year's I would advise anyone to book for this hotel I will give five stars for the hotel and seven stars for the staff numbers. Not a 5 starts hotel
I would rate this hotel 2/5 overall.
The hotel itself is okay, but it feels quite old and in need of renovation. The bedrooms and beds are very outdated, and the mattress in our room was extremely old and uncomfortable. We had to contact reception and ask them to replace it.
The staff experience was mixed. Some staff members were very kind and helpful, while others were not very responsive and not helpful. We had to call reception several times before our calls were answered and our requests were addressed.
The pools are generally good, although they are spread out across the hotel. The buffet was also acceptable, but in my opinion, it does not meet the standard I would expect from a 5-star hotel.
One important thing to keep in mind: keep an eye on your towels. Whether they are taken by other visitors or accidentally / steal removed by staff, make sure you keep track of them, as the hotel may charge you for any missing towels.
Overall, the hotel has some positive aspects, but the outdated rooms, uncomfortable beds, inconsistent service, and buffet quality are the main reasons I would not rate it highly.
Better than you’d expect
Just got home from 2 weeks at the Rehana beach resort. I went with my 2 children and other extended family members. We were very sceptical to say the least after reading some reviews. But I really do think people are just tremendously fussy because it was nothing like what I’ve read.
So firstly there was someone saying all Youl get is warm drinks , I can genuinely say in the 2 weeks I was here I didn’t get served a warm drink. Yeah there’s not much choice but it didn’t bother me . The food wasn’t nearly as bad as what others made out . I thought I was going to starve the way they carry on but i actually enjoyed it , the meat was delicious! We ate in the Chinese Italian Thai and Lebanese restaurant and me personally and my 2 children ages 6 & 11 both very much enjoyed them , the Italian was our personal favourite . We didn’t struggle to find something to eat in the restaurant anyway ! As for lunch time we ate down at the beach bar where they actually do the best chips plus you can bring it up to the pool so no need to keep dragging the kids out which was ideal for me.
The pool bar staff are fantastic! They are so helpful and polite and they genuinely cannot do enough for you! They really appreciate the Brits too as they say we have manners (which we absolutely do in comparison to Russians!). They love how we say our please and thankyous and don’t just get to the bar and say ‘beer’. Manners will get you a long way here .
Entertainment is awesome ! There is something going on all the time ! And they love a party here ! Pool parties beach parties the lot ! You’re not short of anything to do let me tell you! The animation team were great too really nice and polite and knew how to have a laugh too.
The room is lovely and spacious, dated? Yes but liveable. I’m never really bothered as long as it’s clean to be honest , as I only shower and sleep there. Cleanliness in regards to the room could be better BUT I think this was just my cleaner as my other family members rooms were pristine with fresh flowers every day and some form of towel art. My cleaner however only changed the towels and gave me bottles of water. He never gave me toilet roll I had to ask for it every day , he never changed my bedding in the 2 weeks . I was disappointed with how he did my room. And then to top it off I paid for a late checkout (5pm) and he came banging on my door at 4.30 kicking us out and then had the cheek to ask for €15 . Now I would have left a small tip even though he never actually cleaned my room but because he asked I thought nah that’s unbelievable first your kicking me out half an hour earlier and your asking for €15 when you’ve not even done anything! Safe to say I wasn’t best pleased. For reference my room was in block 2 room number 2119.
So when you check out the golf buggy comes to collect you and your luggage, however he kicked me out at 4.30 so I waited till 5…. Still no show anyway 5.30 it eventually showed up. Again my other family members were collected bang on time and didn’t get turfed out early. So I think I got extremely unlucky with the staff in my block.
Be careful of the shops if you’re a single lady , as they can rob you blind! Try to take a male with you if you can as then they won’t try to charge you silly prices I’m talking £17 for Pringles and biscuits. Also I had photos taken of my kids and he said £100 I agreed and when I paid him he turned extremely nasty demanding another £20 . Like extremely nasty be weary of him too.
Lastly the guests are some of the rudest people I’ve ever come across in my life , they will just walk right infront of you at the bar like your invisible and if you say anything they shout at you in Russian . They literally take your towels off your beds while your sat next to it , cheek of the devil honestly. I kind of brushed these things off at first but towards the end of the holiday it really did get to me. You just get tired of it.
Listen was it perfect? No , but I made the best of it , I know I’ve highlighted some bad areas but I have had a better time than not. All in all I did enjoy it and so did my kids so that’s all that matters to me. Would I come back ? Yeah I’d come back, but I think I’d try other hotels first.
Do not waste your time and money on places like this!
I recently stayed at this hotel with my brother, and it was a complete disaster from the very first minute. The management and staff have absolutely no respect for their guests.The Arrival Nightmare: As soon as we arrived, the staff strictly forbade us from bringing our luggage inside the building. They literally forced us to leave all our bags outside the entrance. This was incredibly insulting, safe-breaking, and frustrating.Extortion at Check-in: After being forced to leave our things outside, we went to the reception desk. Instead of a normal check-in, the staff openly tried to extort money from us. They demanded extra cash just to give us a decent room and a normal location. It felt like a cheap scam rather than a 5-star resort service.Conclusion:The staff here is greedy, and the hospitality is non-existent. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this hotel. Do not waste your time and money on places like this!
nice hotel for the budget
just returned from this hotel on arrival booking was fast and efficiant room was so large and well kept very clean i would say the hotel is a 4 splus do to being a little rough round the edges all staff are attentive and nothing is a problem food was a bit repetitve but was top quality the music can be a bit loud at night but was ok animation was soso i would to mention mustafha who make everything and any thing possible for us and also muhahmad our evening drinks waiter who was a diamond to sum up nice hotel had a great time would deffo return thanks rehana hotel
