The resort is located in Nabq Bay, in the city of Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Sharm El Sheikh Airport is situated 10 km away.
In addition to a lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom, facilities available to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a café, newspaper stand, bar and a disco, as well as restaurant, conference facilities and WLAN Internet access (fees apply). Guests can also take advantage of room and laundry services, and a bike hire service is also available. Younger guests will be entertained at the kids' club and can let off some steam at the hotel's 3 children's playgrounds. Guests arriving by car may use the hotel's parking spaces or garage parking facilities.
Rooms feature modern décor and a furnished balcony or terrace. In addition to a private bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a hairdryer, further in-room amenities include Internet access (for surcharge) and a satellite TV. Additional features include a minibar, direct dial telephone, radio, hi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities. Individually regulated air conditioning and heating units and a safe for guests' valuables are other standard features of all accommodation units.
Traditional folklore shows are presented every day at the hotel, and guests can play volleyball and football on the private beach. The hotel's health club has a sauna, hot tub, and fitness equipment. There is a swimming pool in the hotel grounds with children's section and sun loungers and parasols laid out for use by the water's edge. Guests may also take advantage of relaxing spa and massage treatments.
The hotel has a restaurant and terrace serving delicious Egyptian fare, fresh seafood and international cuisine.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. After dipping into one of the 11 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. Additional amenities at this property include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and an arcade/games room.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I want to start by saying that, apart from one very serious issue, my experience at this hotel was genuinely good.
The food is delicious, there are plenty of entertainment programs, and you definitely won’t be bored here. Most importantly, the staff deserves enormous praise. The waiters, bartenders, lifeguards and the entire hotel team are extremely friendly, polite, attentive and hardworking. They constantly try to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Their attitude and professionalism are truly appreciated.
However, there is one issue that I absolutely cannot ignore, and I believe the management needs to take it seriously.
Unfortunately, there are people connected to the hotel management — including the owner’s son and his friends — who behave as if the usual rules of respect simply do not apply to them. They approach female guests, repeatedly bother them, do not give them personal space, and film women without their permission. This is not flirting, this is not harmless fun, and it is certainly not acceptable behavior in a hotel.
The fact that someone is the owner’s son or is friends with people who run the hotel does not give them the right to harass guests or make women feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
What is even more disturbing is the apparent feeling that they can do whatever they want because they know they will not face any consequences.
A hotel should be a place where guests can relax, enjoy their vacation and feel safe — not a place where women have to worry about being approached, followed, filmed or harassed by people who believe they are untouchable.
If you are a woman, especially if you are traveling alone or simply expect basic respect and personal boundaries during your vacation, I would seriously think twice before choosing this hotel until this issue is addressed. I sincerely hope the management understands how serious this is. Rules and standards of behavior must apply to everyone — including the owner’s family and their friends.
The wonderful staff should not have their hard work undermined by the unacceptable behavior of a few people who make guests feel uncomfortable.
I am leaving this review because I believe other guests, especially female guests, have the right to know what they may encounter here. And I strongly encourage the hotel management to take immediate action rather than ignore this behavior.
The staff is doing an excellent job. Now the management needs to make sure that every guest receives the same basic level of respect, privacy and safety.

My recent week at Rehana Royal gave me a much better impression than I had expected from an Egyptian four-star resort. Check-in was smooth, and the reception staff explained the layout of the complex clearly without any unnecessary delays. The garden areas are lush and carefully tended, creating a calm atmosphere that contrasts nicely with the busier pool zone. In the room, the bedding was fresh, the bathroom was clean, and the air conditioning kept the temperature pleasant even during the hottest hours. The restaurant staff worked hard to keep tables tidy and to replenish dishes quickly during busy breakfast and dinner periods. I appreciated that the menu changed slightly from day to day, so the food did not feel repetitive over the course of a week. The beach is reached by a short walk, and the snorkeling opportunities right off the shore are a real highlight for nature lovers. Sunbeds were usually available, and the poolside service was attentive without being intrusive. The spa offered a relaxing massage, and the therapists were professional and respectful of personal space. What really stood out, however, was the animation team, which managed to create a lively yet comfortable holiday mood. Their morning stretching and water aerobics sessions were suitable for different fitness levels and never felt pushy. During the day, they organized volleyball, darts, dance workshops, and pool games, always with clear instructions and a sense of fun. In the evening, the team performed in mini-shows and invited guests to take part in light-hearted competitions and themed parties. For younger guests, there was a supervised kids’ club with crafts and games, giving parents a chance to relax as well. All in all, Rehana Royal may not be a five-star luxury property, but its friendly service, pleasant surroundings, and hard-working animation crew make it a solid choice for a relaxed Egyptian holiday.
My husband and I spent ten days at Rehana Royal Beach Resort - Aquapark & Spa, and honestly, it was one of the best holidays we've had in Egypt. We arrived late in the evening, and from the very first moment, the reception staff were welcoming and efficient. We were offered a refreshing drink and quickly escorted to our room. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a lovely balcony overlooking the lush gardens. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the housekeeping team was fantastic, always leaving fresh bottles of water and making creative towel designs on the bed.
The food in the main restaurant was varied and genuinely delicious. There was always a huge selection of grilled meats, fresh fish, pasta, salads, and traditional Egyptian dishes. The waiters were incredibly attentive, clearing plates quickly and always greeting us with a warm smile. We also tried the Italian à la carte restaurant, which was a lovely change of pace and very tasty.
The beach is a short walk from the main area, and the snorkeling there is absolutely superb. We saw countless colorful fish and even a few rays right off the shore. The pools were clean and well-maintained, and we never had trouble finding sunbeds.
What truly made our holiday special, though, was the animation team. They are an absolute credit to the hotel. Every morning, they organized stretching and aqua aerobics, which was a great way to start the day. In the afternoon, there were pool games, volleyball, and darts, all led with so much energy and good humor. In the evening, they put on fantastic shows and themed parties that had everyone laughing and dancing. I want to give a special shout-out to Valeria, Kita, Vera, and Ahmadushka—they were so friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to love their jobs. They remembered our names and always made time for a quick chat, which made us feel really valued as guests.
For families, the kids' club seemed brilliant, with plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained. The aquapark was a big hit with the children we saw, and the whole atmosphere around the resort was happy and relaxed.
Overall, Rehana Royal is not a super-luxury five-star resort, but it offers an incredibly warm, comfortable, and fun-filled holiday. The combination of great food, friendly service, a beautiful reef, and an outstanding animation team makes it a place we would happily return to. We booked a standard room but were upgraded to a pool-view room upon arrival, which was a lovely surprise. The room was spotless, the bed was huge and comfortable, and the mini-bar was restocked daily with water and soft drinks. The bathroom was modern with a powerful shower, and the air conditioning was quiet and effective. The housekeeping team did a brilliant job every single day, and we often came back to find our towels arranged into swans and hearts on the bed.
The food was a real highlight for us. The main buffet had a different theme every night—we particularly loved the seafood night and the Egyptian evening with fresh kofta and tagines. Breakfast was excellent, with freshly made omelettes, pancakes, and a wide selection of pastries. The waiters were incredibly friendly and remembered our drinks order after the first day. The bar staff at the pool and beach were also fantastic, always bringing us cold drinks without us even having to ask.
The beach is beautiful, with soft sand and a gently sloping entry into the sea. The snorkeling is some of the best we've experienced in Sharm—we saw lionfish, parrotfish, and even a small turtle. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, and the beach attendants were always happy to help us find a good spot. The pools are clean and well-maintained, and the swim-up bar was a great place to cool off with a cocktail.
What really made our holiday special was the animation team. They were energetic, friendly, and genuinely talented. Every day there was a full program: yoga on the beach, water polo, zumba, and cocktail games. In the evenings, they performed in the amphitheater—we saw a brilliant Michael Jackson tribute, a comedy show, and a traditional Egyptian dance performance. They also organized karaoke and quiz nights in the lobby bar, which were great fun.
Overall, Rehana Royal exceeded our expectations in every way. It's not a five-star luxury resort, but it offers a warm, friendly, and fun holiday with excellent food, beautiful surroundings, and an animation team that works incredibly hard. We would recommend it to couples, families, and anyone looking for a great value holiday in Sharm El Sheikh. We will definitely be back.
