The resort is located in Nabq Bay, in the city of Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Sharm El Sheikh Airport is situated 10 km away.
In addition to a lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom, facilities available to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a café, newspaper stand, bar and a disco, as well as restaurant, conference facilities and WLAN Internet access (fees apply). Guests can also take advantage of room and laundry services, and a bike hire service is also available. Younger guests will be entertained at the kids' club and can let off some steam at the hotel's 3 children's playgrounds. Guests arriving by car may use the hotel's parking spaces or garage parking facilities.
Rooms feature modern décor and a furnished balcony or terrace. In addition to a private bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a hairdryer, further in-room amenities include Internet access (for surcharge) and a satellite TV. Additional features include a minibar, direct dial telephone, radio, hi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities. Individually regulated air conditioning and heating units and a safe for guests' valuables are other standard features of all accommodation units.
Traditional folklore shows are presented every day at the hotel, and guests can play volleyball and football on the private beach. The hotel's health club has a sauna, hot tub, and fitness equipment. There is a swimming pool in the hotel grounds with children's section and sun loungers and parasols laid out for use by the water's edge. Guests may also take advantage of relaxing spa and massage treatments.
The hotel has a restaurant and terrace serving delicious Egyptian fare, fresh seafood and international cuisine.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. After dipping into one of the 11 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. Additional amenities at this property include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and an arcade/games room.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had a really enjoyable stay at Rehana Royal and one of the biggest standouts was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and happy to accommodate us, and Michael, the manager, in particular really went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay.
Our room was very clean and spacious, and we had a swim-up room, which gave us direct access to our own pool area and was a great extra.
The resort also has steps leading down to the beach, where you can snorkel straight from the shore, which was a real bonus for us.
We also enjoyed the food, particularly the Italian restaurant, where we had an excellent steak. The kids had a great time at the aquaparks, and our daughter especially loved going to the kids' club.
Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable family stay, with genuinely lovely service. We would happily stay again.
We stayed here for 2 weeks, the hotel itself is nice does need some work on the outside of the buildings which in areas look tatty , the pool areas are nice but feel there wasn’t enough sun beds , there was music and the odd bit of entertainment around the pool area each day and was also a pool party and a foam party on seperate days , our room was over looking the pools which was noisey with the music from 9.45 am but the view was amazing , the staff were amazing infact it’s the staff that have made this 3 stars, they went above and beyond every day and they really did Make our holiday, Food was for me personally was just awful and was poorly with stomach from day 3 and now at day 7 being home still not right , there is beach bar with food like burgers and hot dogs and the food court for pizza and chips and chicken, we ate out a few times due to the food , cleanliness of the areas left a lot to be desired night time in the 4 am bar the male cleaner did not want to clean the female toilets and unfortunately for us some people were actually defecating on the floor in the toilet cubicals , I took pictures and sent them to reception this happened on more than one occasion, I feel that this could have been the issue with the sickness as people were pooing on the floors not washing their hands was vile. Entertainment …. This is geared to Russians and the Russians I felt are preferred here , which is fair enough but advertise that it’s a hotel for a certain group and don’t take bookings from English tour operators, I was made to sign a waiver that I wouldn’t complain when home we were given a free late check out as we complained about entertainment and how the English were treated and also the filth in the toilets they caught me out at check out and made to sign a waiver saying I wouldn’t complain when home this is not a 5 star hotel would rate it 3 at most staff were the best !! That’s all that’s good about this place , (ps don’t use bath in the room the water comes through rusty and stinks ) cleaner took out plug so gather it’s a ongoing issue
Honest review we booked this place as it states it’s 5star definitely not 5star 3at best it’s very dated run down the staff are very rude the beach is closed at 5pm the swimming pools are also closed at 5pm the food is absolutely terrible slop the drinks are a joke avoid this place
Worst reception ever. Arrived at 10pm. Made us wait 3 hours before telling us the tour operator cancelled our hotel that day. Wouldnt let me call teletext holidays . Had to pay $100 to stay over the road. Hotel did look ok, never got to see a room though. We werent the only ones either.
Where do we even begin?
My partner and I came to Sharm El Sheikh for the very first time, not really knowing what to expect, but from the moment we arrived at Rehana Royal Beach Resort, we were made to feel so welcome. What could have simply been a holiday turned into a truly special experience that we will remember for a very long time.
The resort itself is beautiful, with so much to enjoy. There are multiple pools, including quieter and more private areas where you can simply switch off, relax and enjoy the sunshine. The shuttle bus around the resort also makes getting from one place to another so easy and convenient. We tried several of the restaurants during our stay, and we were genuinely impressed with the food. A special mention has to go to the Lebanese restaurant — the food was absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying! But for us, what really made this holiday special was the people.
Every member of staff we met was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, and their smiles and kindness made such a difference to our stay. You can have a beautiful hotel, but it is the people who create the memories — and the staff at Rehana Royal Beach Resort certainly did that for us.
We stayed for 7 days, and although we had an amazing time, we honestly wish we had stayed longer. If you're thinking of booking, we would definitely recommend at least 10 days, because there is so much to enjoy and 7 days simply went far too quickly! We would especially like to give a very heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, who we had the pleasure of meeting during our stay. You made our final day incredibly special and gave us a memory that we will take home with us. Sometimes it is the little moments and the people you meet that stay with you long after the holiday is over — and meeting you was certainly one of those moments.
We also cannot finish this review without mentioning Ahmed, our taxi driver. What a wonderful person! He was kind, trustworthy, helpful and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. Ahmed is a true credit not only to Sharm El Sheikh but to Egypt as a whole. We feel very lucky to have met him.
Leaving was honestly quite emotional because, in such a short time, we felt so welcomed and looked after. We arrived as visitors and left with wonderful memories and a real affection for the people who made our stay so special. Rehana Royal Beach Resort, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️ Thank you for the smiles, the kindness, the laughter, the amazing food and, most importantly, for making our first visit to Egypt something we will never forget.
We came for a holiday… and left with memories that will stay with us for a lifetime.
