The hotel it's self was generally ok 3 star at most to be honest. The room we had was lovely very spacious and clean. Toilet flush broke with 3 days to go and wasn't fixed. The location was good only 5 mins from airport only 7mins to Soho Square. The food could be better stayed in 5* hotels before a d the food/snacks even drinks were far superior. Overall the pool are was fantastic the kids really enjoyed it. The water park was ok Amed from water was fantastic he was great with the kids to be honest he was the only member of staff from the whole week that interacted with the kids. There was many rude members of staff who definitely have preferential treatment for there own. There was one life guard in particular at the water park who let his own go back down the flumes and refused me my girlfriend and kids even although we standing waiting before them. We picked up a ring and were told no then 2 adults and 1 child came picked them up after us and they were allowed we then went back to get rings as they had done and again we were told no flume closed. Atmosphere for the general part was ok, after the pool closes there isn't really anything for kids to do there was an entertainment area if you can even call it that which again was more for locals rather than Holiday makers. As for the staff 1 life guard from water park Amed interacted with the kids but no one else from anywhere in the hotel. It actually got to that stage were my 11 and 7 year old were asking questions like have we done something do they not like us as they seen them play carying on with other kids(locals) which is an absolute disgrace to make kids feel like that. One of the bar staff refused to serve me the whole time I was there every time I went to bar he would serve who was behind me or ask me to go to other end of bar to be served by someone else which again was a bit confusing as there had been no issues. My girlfriend noticed how bar staff and members of reception were all smiles with others but when she would be getting served they wouldn't crack a smile and be very dismissive and down grading towards here. Amed from water park was lovely and so was the taxi driver abdo very kind and helpful.
Overall the holiday was great and would definitely go back to Egypt but unfortunately wouldn't return here. I never want my kids to go on holiday and feel like they aren't welcome. There is definitely a few members of staff at the hotel that were lovely including or cleaner he's was amazing he made animals everyday from the towels for the kids which was their highlight each day as there wasn't much else. Apart from about 6--10 staff the rest where very rude and not very welcoming.
Anyway like I said hotel is more 3 star, if they sort out more snacks, drinks, and better food options, more entertainment at night and replace about 60% of staff then this could be a 5 star hotel no problem.

Had a lovely holiday hotel is lovely big clean pools the sun heats them . Our room was 1511 our cleaner Ahmed was. Fantastic always smiling if we needed anything he ran and got it was spacious. The breakfast was nice in restaurant I don't eat lunch so couldn't comment dinner was typical all inclusive I just ate salad but were some lovely curries sometimes. Red wine nice in restaurant and served room temp not cold so that's good. Animation team kept it lively next to the pool from early till late still dancing and smiling . Eve entertainment is mostly for the kids then a few good watches like belly dancers and all that. Staff made this hotel special not 5* i would say 3 but I've booked to go back . Oh shout out to little Ahmed in English restaurant working so hard in the heat beaming smile drinks waiting when we got there . Also another Ahmed by the pool our lifeguard saved our sunbeds every day so didn't have to wake up really early lovely kind man loads of stories . We knew there would be mozzzies so first thing we got out was our plug ins and sprayed the life outa us we didn't get bit once but we was prepared and expect it in Egypt. Perfume shop was lovely got myself some lovely perfume that I keep getting compliments on but no one will ever have the same . My son loves he's i brought back too . Check in and out was smooth we did some great trips ras Mohammed was the highlight. See you all next year Gem
Room lovely and spacious but could do with a good deep clean and updating, we booked this as a 5* hotel but no way is this hotel any higher than a 3*. To say its all inclusive the food was diabolical, they do not cater for kids, it was either nuggets or burger EVERY meal time, so we had to venture out of the hotel to buy them food. The bar and meal areas are like a cattle market, some of the staff have an issue with the English and even if your at the front of the queue they will ignore you and serve the locals first. The pool area was nice and our lifeguard was lovely thank god as not many of them interacted with anyone around the pool. The entertainment team did however, liven things up for about an hour a day around the pool. The water park was guarded by lifeguards who openly admitted they couldnt swim, there is no health and safety whatsoever, a child defeacated in the baby pool and they just scooped it out with a net and let the kids carry on playing in it.There is no entertainment for the kids at any other time apart from 9pm till 10pm and when there was it wasnt in English and it was the same thing every night for them, no change or variety, even our 8 year old stated it was boring. The water from the shower and the bath was constantly orange in colour and the lake around the hotel was green due to being stagnant and not maintained, which caused a vast amount of flies. I will not go back to this hotel due to the lack of cleanliness, the food being repetitive and inedible at times, nothing for the kids and the rudeness and ignorance of most staff.
As a last minute break we didnt know what to expect but Location for us was too far out of Nebq. Rooms are basic but functional and of a good size. Room cleaning hit and miss on 2 days we had to ask for room to be done after 5pm and we're left with no towels. Safe did not work but fixed after asking 3 times and toilet running constantly again fixed after calling and visiting reception twice. Shower cold everyday but shower in bath was hot. Air-conditioning sounded lke a jumbo jet. Food very similar everyday but always found something to eat. Visited the Italian al la carte and was disappointed service not great and husbands chicken and potato lukewarm. No bread basket or breadsticks on table. Staff in main restaurant very friendly and remembered drink order. Mr Ahmed Masry in executive lounge was amazing and very helpful he really cares about giving a personal service and a credit to the hotel. Always sunbeds available around pool and weather beautiful. "Sales" team for spa and trips had to finish their script before leaving you alone after a polite no thankyou. Reports of bedbugs before we arrived had us worried but we had no problem at all with this mossies we're everywhere but OFF spray worked well for us with only one or two bites. Pool towels were a great size and no problem changing for fresh ones. Bus to beach ran every hour but red flag up the days we went so no snorkeling off jetty, but nobody can control the weather.
