Very disappointed stay at this hotel. From Initial check in the rooms had a safe and a telephone that didn’t work. Next day someone came to fix both. Telephone still didn’t work and safe was barely operable. Basically everything was old and in urgent need of replacement. That also goes for the room/decor that is quite dated. Also the aircon temp control did not work. Either it was on (very cold) or you had to turn it off.
The biggest disappointment was the food. Taste is subjective, but i have stayed in Egypt before including Jaz hotels in Hurgada that had better choice and flavour. Also frequently i found various items that weren’t cooked thoroughly.
Now the reason why i give this a 1 star review. Everyone in our party (20 of us) had some sort of stomach issues. Not sure if this was from the food or from the filtered water. Even the filtered water was limited as we started to buy bottles of water from the shops. However, the drinks and ice would have still had this. The glasses used for the drinks sometimes in the bar didn’t look very clean/may have been rinsed in the sink. Even after a week from returning some of us are still experiencing stomach issues.
Overall, i would not recommend or return to this hotel.

Eygpt relax
Amazing hotel location near airport Friendly and helpful staff, Fantastically kept gardens. Wonderful sea view from room (2174 sea view) Great adults pool area for couples. Food good quality for a week ten days not so regarding variety of choice. Entertainment for couples not great of an evening very similar all week. Don’t expect premium drinks or tonics. But no shortage of local spirits. Not great for non smokers. Great weather fantastic snorkelling (almost every day/ check flags)
No hygiene
There is no sense of hygiene, you will get food poisoning because of this. All inclusive food variety is lower than a 3 star in UK or Turkey. The views are excellent, gardens and space is very nice. You will see loads of fish and marine life.

We spent a wonderful week at Jaz Mirabel and had an absolutely amazing time from start to finish.
Our holiday got off to a great start when, due to our original garden room not being available when we arrived late at night, we were kindly upgraded to a pool-facing room. It was a lovely surprise and really set the tone for what turned out to be a fantastic stay.
The staff throughout the resort were amazing—friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. However, a special mention absolutely has to go to Menna in Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.
Menna reached out to us on our first day to welcome us, and rather than simply sending a message, she actually came to find us at one of the many pools so she could introduce herself personally and let us know she was there if we needed anything. From that moment on, she was incredibly helpful and attentive without ever being intrusive.
She was available to us via text throughout our stay, helping with recommendations, booking restaurants for us, keeping us informed about the evening entertainment and even welcoming us to some of the events. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her genuine warmth and willingness to help really stood out.
It’s people like Menna who can make a great holiday truly memorable, and she is a real credit to Jaz Mirabel.

If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to offer a little more variety in the food available around the pool and beach areas. The menu was the same throughout our stay and was quite limited, so having some additional choices or rotating options would have been a nice touch, especially for guests spending most of their day by the pool or beach.
We had a fantastic family holiday and would happily return. Thank you to everyone at Jaz Mirabel, and especially Menna, for making our week so enjoyable and special!
