Great resort with lots of different activities and entertainment, great staff, every area is well cleaned (you might even slip). Pools have different entrances so if you’re not comfortable with ladders you can walk in from the shallow end, there are different pool depths, there is a shallow end for children, a lot of it you can stand up and walk with a swim up bar and there is a deep end. Water park is brilliant too, the life guard at the lazy river was especially helpful Outside there are people who will come around and ask you if you want drinks, it was lovely when they would remember my previous orders and they’re very lovely
The cleaner always goes out of their way too! I would recommend it for people who want to relax. There’s not a lot of all inclusive food options but that’s to be expected with all inclusive
Absolutely fabulous holiday, made extra special by all the staff. They all worked so hard to make our stay the best ever. In the coffee corner, Abdallah and Osama. The guys at the pool and restaurant. Even the cleaner knocked to check if we needed more tea, coffee, towels. The hotel isn’t the best looking but it’s a wonderful, friendly stay. I’d recommend it all day long. Fabulous. Thank you to everyone working there who made it so special.
We've just come back from 8 nights at coral sea waterworld and we've had one of the best holidays! We arrived around 10pm on the night and the staff took us and our luggage to our room where we had a fruit bowl made! They also opened the restaurant for late arrivals for snacks like cereal and croissants etc.
Location: We found the location really good. 15/20minutes from the airport. Loads of shops including a supermarket and some bars right outside the hotel. You do need to get a taxi to soho or naama bay but the hotel help with this and theyre really cheap!
Rooms: We booked a hot tub room. The rooms where spotless and really modern! Our room was right next to the main pool and beach. Theres is a tv in the room but only a couple of english channel - we connected our phone to the tv so we managed to watch netflix and youtube when getting ready etc. Fresh water bottles given every day. We also got given clean beach towels everyday. We even got a dressing gown and some slippers. The cleaner was really friendly and nothing was to much for him. He always checked everything was okay when we saw him. Aircon in the room couldnt go below a certain temperature - ours was set at 22degrees but given the 40+ degree weather this was perfect. Im guessing its so you dont become unwell with the big temperature drop. All in all rooms where perfect.
Food: The main buffett had different themes every night. The food was really good something for everybody. They even have a vegetarian and small gluten free section. Fresh pizza and pasta cooked infront of you every night. They then had a couple of meat section where the meat is cooked infront of you such as roast turkey, chicken, burgers, fish depending on the theme of the night. They also have an indian, italian, asian and stone cooked restaurant. The italian was absolutely amazing. The stone house was a good experience and the food was really good everything was served very quickly. We didnt try the other restaurant as my partner is a picky eater but theres definitely a variety of food options. During the day they also have food in some of the bars such as waterpark and mermaid restaurant. My partner loved the mermaid restraunt he went pretty much every day. This is fresh cooked food for you also. They have sandwiches toasties wraps pizzas burgere chips. My partner is a picky eater however he was trying all sorts when he was here and loved it. We had no problems being unwell. The restraunts and buffett where all clean and the chefs where even checking food temperatures to make sure things where okay. We can not fault the food at all. They also have room service at an extra cost - we ordered twice and it only cost us like £6 altogether. They also have sandwiches and croissants at the reception bar for free through the night if you get hungry and dont want to order.
Bars: The bar staff and waiters where amazing. Kept on top of everyones drinks throughout the day and night. You dont even have to go to the bar they will bring everything to you. My partner drinks like a fish so we did find ourselves going up for drinks but you are served pretty much straight away and given the amount of people at the resort they all work really hard and always have a smile on there face. The drinks arent watered down like a lot of hotels - infact they are sometimes too strong! They also have branded coca cola which was a huge surprise and this wasnt any extra either! The ice is also bottled water so you dont have to worry about that either!!
Entertainment: The animation team try there best with all the entertainment. There was always something going on especially on a day time they had aqua aerobics water polo darts - different pool partys for kids such as pink party and foam party. We can not fault the entertainment. The evenings where a little but quieter but they had a fire show, singers belly dancer bingo etc. All entertainment finishes at 11pm but the animation team then take guests out to different clubs or hard rock cafe etc for the adults that want a bit more. They also have an adults only bar which is open throughout the night. The whole team are so friendly and dont pressure you into joining in.
All of the staff at this hotel can not do enough for you. We managed to lock ourself out the room at 1am.. i deadbolted the door and went out the balcony door which locked behind me.... the maintanence guy came and unscrewed the lock and everything to get us back into the room. We apologised and offered a tip and he wouldnt take it! He said it happens more than we think... we did manage to get him to take the tip but we had to push.
None of the staff in the hotel expect any tips like some resorts however they deserve every single one. From the reception staff, the buggy drivers, cleaners, chefs, waiters, animation everyone that works at this hotel they will go above and beyond for you. The staff are 100% what makes this resort and holiday.
Also the gardeners do an amazing job at maintaining the views. I dont feel they get enough recognition being more in the background.
For people that are becoming unwell... i do not feel this has anything to do with the hotel. We tried all the foods including the eggs and salads. We had ice in all of our drinks and ensured we washed our hands - i also brought sanitiser as extra precaution. We used bottled water for brushing teeth and we had no issues at all.
Only downside i would say is the pool needs a little bit of maintanence as some of the edges of the pool where coming away - i did see someone fixing this in the water park on the last day so im guessing theyre aware of this.
You will find a lot of guests are returning guests and we are already booking to come back next year. One of the best holidays we have been on. Thank you all for such a lovely time!
My husband and I visited for our 25th wedding anniversary at the beginning of September and I want to give an honest review which is not biased or requested by anyone one else. This was our first trip to Egypt On arrival late at night we were given snacks of rolls, sandwiches etc in the main restaurant which was welcome. We were directed to our room which seemed like miles away as honestly this hotel is huge. Our room(superior family room) 1135 was beautiful I couldn’t fault it overlooking the sea and pool and obviously renovated to a high level. Food at the main restaurant was a limited choice and I got fed up with it very quickly which is so not me as I’m used to presentation and choice so the last few evenings we ended up eating out. Pool was lovely although could do with some tlc, pool bar service was amazing, waiters couldn’t do enough for you and also our very attentive life guard making sure we had cushions before we had even got to our loungers(excellent service) The beach was not for us although we love beaches, why? So shallow for a long way out, full of grass and rocks so not the sandy base we’re used to, nice and warm though. We ventured to the end of the pier each afternoon for a swim and a little snorkel which was nice but didn’t see a lot of fish or coral, not an issue really. We only visited the water park once did the lazy river which I would say was very lazy, also the wave pool which was not very wavy but hey ho. Entertainment was quite poor although team were nice but the content needs serious overhaul to be on a par with other TUI animation teams.maybe games in the pool, more dancing ,less inflatables , just more fun activities for all ages. The one reason I wouldn’t return to Egypt is the airport on departure, it was horrendous, staff were rude, checks every 2 minutes, made to feel very uneasy, poo all over the toilets, with no hand soap or toilet roll absolutely vile and never again. Sorry it’s a long one but wanted to cover everything. .
stayed at coral sea water world for 7 days i wish i could have stayed longer food was beautiful, animation team were brilliant with the kids always something to do pink party’s, foam party’s, water sports rooms were spotless cleaned everyday
