Relax and unwind with body treatments and facials. After dipping into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. This hotel also features concierge services, gift shops/newsstands and a hair salon.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
What can I say about this resort? So much! From the moment we arrived, until the day we left, we were treated like Kings and Queens! Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful people who work here, From reception, to the waiters, to the cleaning staff. ( Ahmed Block 2) what lovely service. The food was terrific, with so much choice. There is so much that I would like to write, but it would take me hours to do. Our two week stay in room 2204 was utterly marvellous. We will be returning next year ( can’t wait )! Thank you so much. You all should be very proud of this resort! Best regards Terence Fairweather.
We spent 11 nights at HV Red Sea as 2 adults, I was a little apprehensive as I heard the entertainment wasn’t the best for adults but the entertainment was decent. We had something to watch every night, there was something for everyone. The HV entertainment team at this hotel are fab and work so hard with so much energy all the time.
The hotel is spotless, so clean. As well as our room it was always cleaned to a high standard and even left with towel decorations each day which was a special touch.
We stayed in a select deluxe room which again was faultless, massive room with a fab view over a swim up room with the beach in the distance.
Food was okay too, just your typical buffet food. The Indian à la carte was unreal, we went twice. We also went to the American diner which was okay but nothing to write home about. Service at both was top notch
For lunch we ate at the snack bar everyday, service again was fab and food was decent.
The hotel is huge so maybe not the best for mobility issues but you can use the buggies provided by the hotel
We didn’t go to the beach because of how hot it was, lazy I know 😂
You can walk out and about at this hotel and it felt very safe. Shops and some restaurants within walking distance which broke the holiday up being able to wonder around.
The bar guys works endlessly, when I heard about how many hours and how many days they work I was genuinely shocked. They always have a smile on their face, especially Ahmed who works as a waiter at the pool bar and the entertainment at night. I didn’t catch his surname but he always wears a white hat, he really made our holiday he was so pleasant he really is fab.
One annoying thing was that staff would come around asking you to write a Google review and would stand there until you did it. We were approached on our first day and didn’t know a single thing about the hotel. These pressured reviews are not good as majority of people would have rated this hotel high anyway but I am giving 4/5 stars for this principle. I would have give 5 stars but practically begging for a good review will just do the opposite.
Overall I would recommend this hotel and we had a great time, the only faults is the review situation and the alcohol is a bit meh
I would firstly like to say just how much of a great person Romany is and how welcome he made me feel from the very first day of our holiday.
On our first day, Romany offered me a drink and, without me even having to ask, noticed when I had finished and came back to make sure I had another. It was such a small gesture, but it immediately showed the level of care and attention he gives to his guests.
As the holiday went on, Romany got to know me personally, and after finding out that he worked at the View Bar from 18:00 onwards, my partner and I ended up going there every evening — not just because of the drinks, but because of Romany.
Romany is a true gentleman. He goes above and beyond to cater to everyone’s needs and has a way of making you feel like a friend rather than just another guest. His friendliness, kindness and genuine personality made our holiday experience even more enjoyable.
I’ve spoken to other guests during our stay, and I know I’m not the only person who feels this way about Romany. There are undoubtedly many others who have had the same experience but may not have taken the time to write a review.
Holiday Villages is incredibly lucky to have someone like Romany as part of the team. He is a credit to the hotel, and although writing this review is my way of showing my appreciation, I honestly don’t feel that words alone do him justice.
Thank you, Romany, for making our holiday that little bit more special. You will definitely be remembered, and if we return to Holiday Villages Red Sea, one of the first things we’ll be looking forward to is seeing you again!
omany the pool bar / view bar staff member was absolutely fantastic! He was always friendly, welcoming and provided excellent service throughout our holiday. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he always greeted us with a smile. His great attitude and attention to detail made our time at the bar even more enjoyable. Romany made our holiday, and we would 100% return again to enjoy his bar service alone!! Thank you, Romany, for making our holiday extra special!
This is my second visit to Coral Sea. The hotel grounds are immaculate and some beautiful views. The hotel is central to local shops and restaurants. The coral is very sparse at the hotel jetty but we did a snorkel trip which was fantastic. You can’t come to Egypt and not see the beauty that is the Red Sea. The rooms are great; spacious and clean. The fridge was useless however and didn’t seem to get cold at all but the weather was hot.
The food choices are superb. We loved Bamboo and the American Diner. You never struggle to find something you like. Our favourite restaurant was the Greek Taverna, although the main restaurant has many choices so we used the main restaurant a lot during our stay.
The staff work incredibly hard in the restaurants and bars. It’s the reason we returned to the hotel. Please tip the staff if you get a great service they really deserve it. The waiters are friendly and make sure you always have a drink or clear table. This time however I witnessed certain waiter called Saeed treating other waiters in main restaurant very disrespectfully and it’s hard to watch. Whilst I don’t speak Arabic you get the gist of what is being said and I personally think it’s inappropriate to do that in front of customers. I understand that tempers flare in busy times but maybe management need to discourage this behaviour in front of customers. We have booked for next year so let’s hope the staff are treated better next time we come.
