The Barceló Tiran Sharm***** is a luxury hotel located on the Nabq coast in the north of Sharm El Sheikh, with spectacular views across the Aqaba gulf and the main island of Tiran. The hotel occupies an area of 80,000 m2 and is situated opposite a beautiful private beach and the crystal-clear waters of the stunning coral reef.
The hotel offers various room categories: doubles, family rooms and suites. All have their own balcony from which to enjoy views over the sea and the gardens. In addition, the hotel has modern facilities that are ideal for couples and families with children, such as a spa offering a wide range of treatments and a beauty salon. The tennis courts and scuba diving centre are just some examples of the facilities offered by the hotel. Younger guests will love the miniclub and the children's swimming pool. The bars and restaurants serve a wide selection of local and international dishes. There are 3 themed restaurants, a buffet, or, if your prefer, personalised service at the most exclusive à-la-carte fish restaurants.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. After dipping into one of the 4 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
A wonderful hotel with very polite and smiling staff.
The rooms are large, comfortable, and cleaned daily. Ours had its own private pool, which is a huge advantage if you are looking for more peace and quiet.
Very stable internet connection; you can truly rely on the Wi-Fi for work if needed.
The food is plentiful, varied, fresh, and delicious. Some of it is cooked live by chefs right in the restaurant. We were impressed to see familiar faces working in the restaurant who were also there during our previous stay at the same hotel in September 2024. Both during our first visit and now, we were served by Mostafa Mahmoud—a very kind and cheerful waiter who takes great care of the guests at the tables near the kids' area.
There is all-day entertainment organized by the hotel's animation team, as well as evening shows—mostly featuring guest dance troupes performing various styles of dance, a fire show, an Egyptian night, and more. Salma, a very sweet girl from the animation team, is great for English-speaking guests. Most of the other animators cater more to Russian-speaking guests, but as a team, they manage to engage everyone regardless of nationality.
There is a rich and diverse house reef with amazing marine life right off the beach. This was our main criterion when we first chose the hotel back in 2024, and our recent stay only confirmed we made the right choice. The reef starts right at the shore, and you can see a wide variety of fish just a few meters into the water—no need to swim far out. It's fantastic for snorkeling. There is also a diving center for those who prefer diving, as well as windsurfing options.
The hotel is compact, and its layout allows you to walk from one end to the other (and to the beach, even if you are staying in one of the further buildings) without being exposed to too much sun. This is a massive plus when it's 40°C outside.

Нашата беше със собствен басейн, което е изключително предимство, ако желаете повече спокойствие. Много стабилен интернет, може да се разчита на Wi-Fi за работа при нужда. Храната е в изобилие, разнообразна, прясна и вкусна. Част от нея се приготвя от готвачи на момента в ресторанта. Направи ни впечатление, че виждаме познати лица, които работеха в ресторанта и при нашето предишно посещение в същия хотел през септември 2024. И при първото ни посещение, и сега, ни обслужва Мостафа Махмуд - много мил и усмихнат сервитьор, които се грижи за клиентите на масите в близост до детския кът. Има целодневни развлечения, организирани от екипа аниматори към хотела и вечерна програма в повечето случаи с гостуващи танцьори на различни видове танци, огнено шоу, египетска вечер и други. Много мила девойка от екипа аниматори е Салма, за англоговорящи гости. Повечето останали аниматори са по-атрактивни за рускоговорящите. Като екип успяват да привлекат всички гости от всякаква националност. Има богат и разнообразен риф и подводен свят в непосредствена близост на плажа. Това беше основния ни критерий при първоначалния ни избор на хотел през 2024. Потвърждаваме избора си и при сегашното ни посещение. Рифът започва от самия плаж и има много разнообразни риби на няколко метра от плажната ивица. Не е необходимо да се плува надалеч, за да се видят различни видове. Прекрасно за шнорхелинг. Има и център за гмуркане за който предпочита този вид развлечения, както и сърф. Хотелът е компактен и архитектурата му позволява да се стига от единия край до другия (съответно до плажа, ако си в по-отдалечена сграда) без да се излагаш на прекомерно слънце. Това е огромен позитив при 40° темпетарура.
Stunning grounds of the hotel this is maintained so well. The hotel is tired in places but this doesn't retract from any of the positives. We had a swim up pool room with private sun bathing. This was amazing for me everything we wanted, chilled and relaxing. The staff couldn't be any nicer they were so friendly and attentive. Would thoroughly recommend
Exceptional cleanliness, wonderful staff and a beautiful resort
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Barceló Tiran Sharm.! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, organized and well-maintained the entire resort was!
But what impressed us the most was the staff! . Everyone was exceptionally friendly, polite, professional and genuinely helpful. From reception and housekeeping to the restaurant and bar staff, we were always greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. Their attitude and attention to guests made a real difference to our holiday. A special thank you to the entire Barceló Tiran team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable.! We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel!
Our second visit to the hotel, a warm greeting from the guy on reception after a four hour delay was great. He advised us that if we wanted a drink to go over to the bar as it was almost midnight. We checked in and were given our rooms I had requested the rooms we had last time and we got those, we got to the room and were unpacking when we had food delivered which was unexpected. The following day Musthafa from housekeeping introduced himself he did our room to a high standard everyday. We went for breakfast and met Bassem who looks after the staff, our main waiters were Armed and Ramadam who looked after us and brought our drinks without being asked. The food was always filled and hot with lots of choice, the chefs were there keeping a check on things. We visited the Al A Carte Dolcia Vita, the food was amazing 5 courses and special mention to Mohamad Ali Omara and the rest of the team fabulous service. The pool bar staff and main bar staff again remembered our drink orders always checking if we needed refills. We asked to keep our room on as we had a late pick up we spoke to Sayed Ali the front office manager along with Mohmoud and this was sorted for us 😀 We commented that a good hotel is reflected by the staff your staff give 110% always. Last but certainly not least a shout out to your gardeners, they work in extreme heat making sure the grounds are very well manicured. Thank you all again we will be back next year 😀
This is my second time in this beautiful hotel and resort, traveled with my 2 best friends and mum and dad, we all had a fantastic time , the staff are out of this world each and everyone of them they can't do enough for you , I can't believe they all recognized us from last year what a welcome , our room was amazing with a beautiful ocean view, the food in the restaurant is amazing , nothing is too much trouble for the amazing staff, barcelo you should be so proud of your staff they are exceptional, see you all next year can't wait ❤️
