Fantastic Staff with Room for Upgrades"We recently stayed at Swissôtel with my wife and children. This is truly one of the best resorts in Sharm El Sheikh, and despite a few areas that need upgrading, the exceptional service and staff easily earn them a 5-star rating from us.The resort layout is excellent and conveniently arranged; our room was perfectly located, offering quick and easy access to both the pools and the reception area, which was ideal for travelling with young kids.As pure vegetarians, we had to request specific meals almost every day of our stay. While the culinary team fulfilled our requests wonderfully, I do wish there were more clearly designated vegetarian options built directly into the main restaurant buffet. It would be fantastic if the resort could separate vegetarian food from meat dishes more systematically in the future.The entire staff across the resort—including reception, the beach, pools, and bars—is incredibly approachable, polite, and hardworking. We would like to give a special mention to the standout team members who made our stay truly memorable:Chef Elhamy (Main Restaurant): Thank you for being so accommodating, organized, and personally preparing our vegetarian meals.The Indian Chef: We unfortunately missed his name, but he was exceptional. He went above and beyond by preparing custom meals every single day for our one-year-old daughter.Mahmoud (Housekeeping): Mahmoud was outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. He kept our fridge and snacks perfectly refilled, always checked in on our satisfaction, and delighted our kids by making creative towel animals and robots.Armany & The Animation Team: The kids' animation team is incredibly hardworking and engaging. Armany was fantastic—always checking in on us and keeping us well-informed about all the kids' activities, which we deeply appreciated.While the service and team deserve full marks, we hope management will address the following property upgrades to match their excellent hospitality:Pool Towels: There were never enough pool towels available, and we frequently had to wait. Furthermore, most of the towels provided were old and torn.Indoor Pool: The vinyl flooring inside the swimming pool is coming off and needs repair.Paving & Safety Hazards: Most of the outdoor floor paving in the shared pedestrian and vehicle traffic areas is broken. This is a noticeable trip hazard; unfortunately, my one-year-old daughter tripped and fell because of this. Luckily, it was a minor fall, but it needs immediate attention.Entertainment Area Comfort: The evening entertainment area for kids and adults gets extremely hot and humid. The hotel needs to install fans and provide cool drinking water here, as the intense heat meant our children could never stay for more than 30 minutes.Thank you to the wonderful Swissôtel team for a lovely holiday.
