Scammed by Hotel Employee (Halim) - Serious Security & Hospitality Breach
BEWARE: Defrauded by Hotel Staff Member (Halim) - Room 4802
During our stay in Room 4802 (August 15–22, 2026), an internal employee named Halim approached us and sold a private Cairo tour for $280 USD. He coordinated an unlicensed driver (License Plate: ط ج ف 3452) to pick us up from the reception driveway at 23:00 and explicitly texted us on WhatsApp to deceive hotel security by lying that we were going to the airport.
When we arrived in Cairo at 06:00 AM, there was no guide, no museum tickets, and no tour. We were completely abandoned and defrauded.
We have filed formal complaints with the Ministry of Tourism, Turkish Embassy, and Accor Headquarters with full WhatsApp evidence and CCTV timestamps. Swissôtel management must urgently take responsibility, dismiss this individual, and refund our $280 USD

Having a fantastic holiday at the swissotel, the staff are amazing, very kind and helpful. The hotel is very clean. The beach is lovely and the bar staff and life guards can't do enough for you.

Ashraf was amazing! He always kept our room spotless and made sure everything was clean and comfortable. Very friendly, polite, and hardworking. We really appreciated his service during our stay. Great guy and excellent service!
