This is a really great hotel. In so many ways five star but just a couple of reservations. We had a room in the main building on the top floor overlooking the main pool and the sea - it was great. Good size, clean comfortable, tea and coffee, fridge and it was made up for us perfectly each day. Comfortable beds (booked a double got two Queens) The pools and whole site - including the man made beaches - are kept beautifully clean and tidy . The pools are big and the swim up bar is a bonus. The beaches have great views over the sea. The BEST bit of the whole place for me was the snorkelling you can do from the two piers at each end of the hotel grounds - you can swim between them- it has its own reef ! It was just brilliant clear waters, colourful, healthy coral and a massive array of fish - including Lion Fish. We did a Red Sea day trip and apart from tuna didn’t see anything we could not see at the hotel. The food is also great. In the buffet there is a wide range of well presented well cooked food at each meal. Always something good to have. However - do not miss the speciality Asian restaurant . This is special. It has a beautiful setting by the sea and the food - particularly the chicken and coconut soup - is among the best we have had anywhere. A real delight and the staff - led by the brilliant Milad (what a star he is) - made it such a great experience. We went three times! All the staff are great - they really can not do enough for you. There is an efficient shuttle into Naama bay each evening. So why not five stars. Our main gripe here was that we often choose places BECAUSE they have a dress code. We like dressing for dinner. They say they have one when you book and they display signs with it on at all the eateries - but it is not enforced to ANY extent. Dressing for dinner and making an effort is kind of ruined when you share the space with guests in shorts and football shirts. However, if you try to leave the bar with a glass - to take up to your balcony for eg - they stop you and pour it into a paper cup. I get that by the pool but not from the bar on floor 7. If you can enforce that why not the dress code. We had two very good reasonably priced massages at the spa - do it - but it’s not quite 5 star ; no relaxing music for eg. If you see the golf course advertised —- do not choose this hotel for that reason!! Enough said. Overall this place is great and you will have a good time if you choose it.

Title: Exceptional stay and outstanding hospitality! My two adult sons (aged 26 and 28) and I stayed at Stella Di Mare from September 29th to October 6th, 2026. This was our first holiday together in a very long time, and it turned out to be truly fantastic from start to finish. Upon check-in, we encountered a minor room issue due to an inaccurate listing description on Booking.com. However, Mr. Moller, the Director of Hotel Rooms, personally sat down with me, sorted everything out, and ensured our stay was completely seamless. His helpfulness set the tone for the rest of our trip. Every member of the team—from the front desk, reception, and concierge to the restaurant staff—was wonderfully attentive and warm.
My 6th time back and another amazing visit.
Bishal and mina in the restaurant are amazing as always and super attentive snd helpful. Chef Ibraham is amazing to, walks me round the buffet and will make things especially for me which is super appreciated. David (our favourite waiter) always has the biggest smile and really makes our time in the restaurant special.
Shenouda who looks after food and drink is so attentive to all but especially to me, having coeliac disease. Any issue you have, he is on the case straight away to resolve. Hany George who works alongside him is amazing to. On our last day, coming up to say good bye and making sure I had my amazing chocolate cake to bring home, makes the holiday feel like a home.
Bishoi and Melad at the pool bar are amazing to. Always friendly and super attentive along with Romany who is amazing at looking after us-towels, pillows for the sunbeds, glasses cleaning and water spray when a little too warm! Nabir took over midway through our trip and he was great to!
Housekeeping improved as our visit went on. Melad really went above and beyond and made sure everything was topped up and had a little towel creation of some sort!
Checkout was a little disappointing, unsure if it was due to it being a Saturday, but felt it wasn't very personal and just a matter of cutting the band and that's it. I have had previous checkouts that have been really positive so unsure if this was due to the volume.
Planning my trip for next year to return again. An amazing hotel with great views and opportunities to snorkel along the reef. Coming a few weeks earlier we noticed it was much hotter, but still an amazing holiday!
It is an excellent hotel cannot fault it
