Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel is very dated in the middle of no where with derelict buildings around it. The rooms are ok but very basic definitely need a refresh. The cleaners do come every day which is good. The food is none existent for the English we lived on crisp butties or occasionally they did chips or roast potatoes most of the food was rice dishes they did Nan bread pizza with tomato ketchup base and minimal cheese so they were inedible. The pool was ok but broken tiles around the edges of the pool and the steps were broke. The snacks around the pool were at 4 every day but it was little muffins with crap meat and rubber cheese no change from day to day. The staff around the pool and in the restaurant were very pleasant but there were also some very rude I would not recommend this hotel at all which is a shame because some of the staff were lovely but not catered for the English food wise.
Room was lovely & clean, cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. Food was awful with people pushing in past you all the time, constantly running out of plates & cutlery that’s if you could get to a table. Restaurant waiters were rude & entertainment was non existent
Returned for our 3rd time to Panorama Naama Heights after having such a great time same time last year, but unfotunately a big staff change & food not very good this time around, hotel only maybe half full & never really bothered with entertainments during the evening, room was fine, air con ok & beds so comfortable😴, hotel is dated but parts have been revamped & are nice & spacious, been to far better hotels in Sharm over the years of going to Egypt, shame got to know some staff over the years, but all gone & big change, for the better, we didnt think so, return, possibly not.
A truly terrible experience at Panorama Naama Heights (Sharm El Sheikh). The staff is extremely rude and unhelpful, and the entire hotel is completely disorganized. Cleanliness is non-existent: we found dirty dishes, towels and linens were never changed, and staff entered our room without permission, even when the "do not disturb" sign wasn't displayed. Most worrying of all, the food made multiple guests violently ill with severe stomach microbes and vomiting. As for the facilities, the pool was extremely dirty and filled with insects. The "aqua park" is a joke, consisting of only two small slides
We have just returned from a 14 day holiday at this hotel and would NEVER return! This is an absolutely awful hotel and we are so glad to finally be home. The food is very poor and the restaurant service is chaos. They serve the same food everyday (and I literally mean everyday, the same food for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Bizarrely breakfast consisted of mashed potatoes!!! Lunch and dinner were the same food of rice and pasta, desserts were poor and very dry. They cater solely for locals and have literally no British food whatsoever. We are not fussy eaters, but we struggled to find anything to eat. The worst part was the experience in the restaurant, other guests not queuing and pushing in, taking piles and piles of food to their tables so there was literally no food left for anyone else. No salad left and we could never get a bread roll. There were no plates, bowls, cutlery ever, you always had to ask staff to get them and this was a long wait. For dinner which opened at 7pm, we found we had to queue at 7pm outside the restaurant everyday to get a table and to ensure we could eat, as if you went later most of the food had gone. Other guests push past you in the line to the restaurant, it is honestly complete chaos. We travelled with an older relative and she was nearly pushed to the ground multiple times during the 7pm stampede when the restaurant opened. Staff are aware of this as a member of the restaurant team stands at the front everyday, although does nothing to stop it! Other families we spoke to also struggled with the food, and one had taken to eating out every day, unfortunately we couldn't afford to do this. Also, 3 members of our family of 6, suffered stomach upsets whilst there. We have never had this issue before during previous holidays to Egypt and we have never not been about to eat before. Another big disappointment was the lack of entertainment. The entertainment team, and I say this loosely, is dreadful. The male amination team spend most of their time chatting up young girls and ignored other guests. For the first week, none of the amination team even spoke to us. The evening entertainment is non existent, they put no effort in whatsoever to entertain the guests. A big shout out to Isaac the poolside waiter, he was amazing throughout our stay and the only positive to our holiday. I feel completely cheated to be honest as this is never a 4 star hotel, it would be pushed to be a 2 star. Please do not waste your money going to this hotel, it is cheaper than some other hotels, but it is cheaper for a reason. Completely ruined our holiday. I think management has a lot of issues to sort out urgently!!! It was not a relaxing holiday due to rudeness of other guests at the hotel and the staff who do nothing about it.
