We stayed in room 4140 from July 19th to July 25th. It was a very enjoyable and peaceful holiday for us. Now I will tell you why you should choose this hotel. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We had no problems with any of the staff. The staff are incredibly respectful to the customers. You can definitely rest assured about the staff. The hotel consists of two sections, the land side and the sea side. The sea side is a classic hotel type. The land side is more authentic, with two-story buildings; we were on the ground floor. The restaurants on each side are separate. You can eat at the restaurant on whichever side you are on. But you can use the bars and other facilities on both sides. We spent our days on the beach. The beach has both sand and coral reefs. You can easily swim in the sea, the beach is very beautiful. Don't forget to bring snorkel and goggles for the sea. You will have an incredible underwater experience. We liked the hotel's food. Breakfast was different from the Turkish style; there are 3-4 types of cheese, but you won't go hungry, there are plenty of pastries and pies. It was great that they had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner were Egyptian style but very delicious, just a little spicy but not unpleasant. The meat dishes were fantastic. The bar closed at 11 pm, which I think is too early. I don't know about the seaside, but the landside was very quiet. There are date palms everywhere. I even picked dates with a hotel employee. Another thing I liked about the hotel was the cold drinks in the lobby, very well thought out, there were many different kinds of cold drinks. There was also a coffee machine and it was very good. I would like to thank Mahmoud at the beach bar for his attention and care, he is a very friendly and competent bartender. Thanks also to the housekeeper Ibrahim, security guard Nimo, road attendants Ibrahim and Osman, Muhammed at the Italian restaurant, and Osama who drove the buggy. All the reception staff were very helpful. A big thank you to Yaroslova for taking care of our satisfaction.
The place is so wonderful location is great the staff is so friendly Ahmed at front desk so very friendly and mr Roma was great room are spaced the food is amazing
Our stay was in the Palm Wing, and we came for two weeks. We have rather mixed feelings about the hotel, especially since we have stayed at several all-inclusive hotels in Egypt before.
We were satisfied with the rooms, their cleanliness and facilities. The quality and selection of the drinks and cocktails were also good. However, we chose Novotel because we assumed that, as it is not an Arab hotel chain, the quality of the food would be better. Unfortunately, this was one area where we were disappointed. The snacks served between meals were also not as good as those we have experienced at other hotels.
If you are staying in the Palm Wing, be prepared for the fact that you cannot dine at the Coral Restaurant in the Beach Wing, except during the last 30 minutes of its opening time. We were not given any information about this either before booking or during check-in. This is particularly disappointing because the Coral Restaurant offers a better selection than La Palma.
The third restaurant, Al Dante, can only be used free of charge once during your stay.
Overall, we were therefore very dissatisfied with the services provided. Unlike at other Egyptian hotels we have stayed at, we did not feel that the guests always came first, and we experienced this attitude from members of the staff on several occasions.
Moreover, everything seems to be focused on Russian tourists. Even the entertainment programs are conducted in Russian, which makes them practically unenjoyable for guests who speak other languages.
That said, we would like to highlight that the staff at the bar in the Palm Wing were exceptionally kind and friendly, and the housekeeping staff were also very helpful.
Overall, if you are looking for an outstanding five-star experience, this is not the hotel I would recommend.
Had an incredible stay at Novotel Sharm El Sheikh. The location right in the heart of Naama Bay is prime, offering easy walking access to everything while keeping a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere across the resort. The beach and rooms were great, and a special shoutout goes to the animation team for their amazing energy and fun daily activities. Highly recommended!
Fantastic Location and Wonderful Staff
The hotel is right on Naama Bay, which is perfect for shopping, with loads of shops and restaurants along the strip.
The hotel is split between the beach side and the road side, so you do have to cross the road to access some of the other pools. ( Their is a man than crosses you safety) pool by the beach is lovely, but once all the children arrive, we tend to move over to the lazy pool on the other side, which is much quieter.
All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. If you do encounter any issues, the customer relations lady is fantastic. We had a small issue with a woman and her children who had actually brought a cat with them into the swimming pool! Customer relations dealt with it immediately, so rest assured that if you have any problems at all, they will deal with them quickly and professionally.
The food is okay. Unfortunately, I have quite a few allergies, so I have to stick to very plain food. However, there is plenty available, and the staff are happy to make pizza and pasta dishes exactly how you want them, which I really appreciated.
The pool bar staff are absolutely fantastic. Ibrahim is so attentive, friendly and lovely, and his English is really good. The female bar staff member is also fantastic, although unfortunately I didn’t catch her name.
We are still here and, as far as we can tell, we are the only English guests. There are mainly Russian, Italian and Asian guests, but we have been treated extremely well by everyone and the staff are always respectful and welcoming.
The beach is clean and very well maintained, and the snorkelling is fantastic — literally just a few steps from the hotel.
We booked our tours with Travico, who we found to be very trustworthy and who really looked after us throughout.
Overall, management should be extremely proud of their staff. They work incredibly hard and really do their best to make sure guests have a great holiday. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
