Our Recent Stay at Jaz Dreams

We recently stayed at Jaz Dreams and, from the moment we arrived, the first thing I have to say is how absolutely blown away we were by the staff. What a lucky hotel to have such a fantastic network of people working there!

Every member of staff we came across was friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful. They genuinely went above and beyond throughout our stay to make sure we had a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable holiday. It was clear that so many of them take real pride in what they do, and that made a huge difference to our experience.

There were always plenty of sunbeds available, even during the busy holiday period, and at the restaurant, the staff were always on hand to make sure guests were seated quickly, even at the busiest times.

A Special Thank You to Ahmad & Khaled

I really want to give a huge and very special shout-out to the lifeguards, Ahmad and Khaled, because these two absolutely made our holiday!

They were fantastic with our son, Arnie, and honestly made our days around the pool so much easier and more enjoyable. They were incredibly friendly, fun, positive and approachable from the moment we met them.

What really stood out was how much they went above and beyond for us. They weren’t simply there to supervise the pool — they were constantly looking out for us throughout the day. As the sun moved, they would move the parasols for us so that we could stay in the shade, and they were always happy to help with anything we needed. Whether it was helping us with our things, interacting with and entertaining Arnie, or simply checking that we were comfortable, they were always there with a smile.

They brought such a happy and positive energy to our days by the pool, and Arnie absolutely loved them. You could tell that they genuinely enjoyed their jobs and cared about the guests, rather than simply doing what was required of them.

They also worked incredibly hard throughout the day to keep the pools and surrounding areas clean and tidy. You could see how much pride they took in looking after the pools and making sure everything was safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Ahmad and Khaled deserve a massive thank you from our family. They really did go above and beyond, and they are a huge credit to Jaz Dreams.

Restaurant & Bar Staff

The restaurant staff were also fantastic. I can honestly say that everyone was warm, welcoming and friendly, and they worked tirelessly — always with a smile on their faces — to make sure everything ran smoothly.

In particular, Hassan and Saif made our mealtimes especially memorable. Their friendliness and attention really stood out and made us feel so welcome.

At the pool bar, Yaseer was also incredibly friendly and helpful and always made us feel welcome.

I also want to highlight the fantastic team in Calbri Bar. They were all so friendly and welcoming, even when the bar was extremely busy. They continued serving everyone with a smile and never seemed to lose their positive attitude.

The Food

The food was very tasty, with a good selection of hot stations and freshly prepared food cooked to order. We particularly enjoyed the stone-baked pizzas, BBQ meats, pasta dishes and the omelettes at breakfast.

A special mention has to go to the gentleman making the omelettes at breakfast — I have honestly never seen anyone cook seven omelettes at once while still remembering whose was whose! He did it all with incredible skill and, of course, a smile on his face. It was brilliant to watch!

The cleaning staff were also fantastic. They worked incredibly hard and were always friendly and helpful.

Great location, near to the beach and a dip in the red sea is a must, beach staff were also friendly, access to all inclusive drinks on the beach too

Areas for Improvement

Unfortunately, there are a few areas where we feel the hotel could be improved.

Our bathroom was in need of refurbishment and some repairs. The area around the bathroom and shower was quite worn and grubby in places, and the sink was broken and leaking, leaving a puddle of water on the floor. (The rest of the room was fine, good air con, balcony/ view from the room was lovely)

The water park was also very disappointing. A large portion of it was broken and, unfortunately, parts of it were also quite dirty. This is definitely an area that needs attention and improvement.

Overall

Despite these issues, the one thing that really stands out from our holiday is the staff.

The hotel itself may need some investment and improvements, but honestly, Jaz Dreams is incredibly lucky to have the people it does working there. Their friendliness, kindness, hard work and willingness to go above and beyond made such a difference to our stay.

In particular, Ahmad and Khaled made our holiday what it was. always smiling, laughing and spreading positivity.

They didn’t just make us feel like guests — they made us feel genuinely looked after.

For us, that’s what we’ll remember most about Jaz Dreams. The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel, and they deserve to be recognised for the fantastic job they do.

Thank you to everyone who made our holiday so enjoyable — and especially to Ahmad and Khaled and Hassan. We hope the hotel recognises just how special these two are!

The experience is unforgettable! We felt like home with the hospitality and the amazing team. A big variety of food, a wonderful aqua park, comfortable rooms, excellent location, wonderful beach… Every single detail made our trip unforgettable!
